This is a solid Korean fried chicken joint, if not exactly to my liking. I'd say the sweet and spicy sauce at Peck Peck is much closer to Bonchon than to the more traditional thick and chunky style I was expecting and hoing for. This is not necessarily to say that one is better than the other. But this does mean that I won't be able to get how I like my sweet and spicy at Peck Peck. To their credit though, I can think of several things to like about this family-owned and run local business. First, the interior is a humble hole in the wall with markings of hard work and barely enough space to seat 8 people. The menu is uncomplicated and easy to work out. Bryan (I couldn't help but overhear locals call him this) is a friendly guy who seemed to care if we had a good experience. The chicken? The batter is relatively thin and crispy and the sauce is brushed over, and yes, the chicken is freshly cooked and tender. The homemade slaw was the kind that I like - lean and crunchy with just the right amount of creaminess. I hope they continue to feed the locals (and non-locals like us) delicious fried chicken for many more years.

Hidden gem. Some of the best fried chicken you'll taste in your life. Local secret. Well worth it. You see people constantly going in.

Soy garlic and sweet and spicy wings!

My friend and I were getting dinner at a nearby restaurant but have been meaning to try Peck Peck for a while. Decided that wings are always the perfect appetizer and hit Peck Peck first. Gentleman working the counter is very friendly, restaurant is small but we were able to sit at a comfortable table. We ordered 8 soy garlic and 8 sweet and spicy, a perfect amount to give the place a good try. Have to say, the wings are great! They are delivering the crunch without feeling heavily breaded and they are delivering the flavor without feeling heavily sauced. Can't ask for more than that!

Peck peck doesn't look like much from the outside but boy does it pack a punch. The wings are the way to go. They have 3 flavors... soy garlic, sweet and spicy, and salt and pepper. Wings were fantastic. Crunchy with just the right amount of seasoning. We also got the small fries and it is huge. No need for the large. The chicken tenders were just ok. A little chewy for me. The wings are the way to go. So good. I would 100% come back for them.

    Sweet and Spicy Peckwich

i've been to peck peck twice now and both times were amazing. the first time i got the sweet and spicy peckwich and my boyfriend got the 8 piece sweet and spicy wings with steak cut fries on the side. everything came out hot and full of flavor. the sweet and spicy peckwich was honestly one of the best sandwiches i've had the chicken was super juicy with a light crispy coating and the sauce had the perfect balance of sweetness and heat without being overwhelming. what really makes it stand out is how everything comes together, especially the slaw it adds the perfect crunch and freshness that balances out the richness of the chicken and sauce so every bite tastes complete. also the size is no joke it's huge i literally couldn't even finish it the first time but i came prepared the second time and made sure i did. my boyfriend loved his wings so much that he got the exact same thing again the second time we went, the flavor is that good. the wings were super tender and juicy and completely coated in sauce so every bite was packed with flavor, and the steak cut fries were thick, golden, and perfectly cooked with a soft inside and crispy outside. i tried the soy garlic peckwich and it did not disappoint at all. the flavor was rich and savory with just the right amount of garlic, and it soaked into the chicken in the best way without overpowering it. paired with that same fresh crunchy slaw and soft bread it just all comes together perfectly. every bite was super satisfying and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and made with care. the food here is consistently incredible and you can really taste the quality. the environment is also such a big part of the experience. it feels really nostalgic and the music is always so good, it just makes you want to stay and enjoy everything. and the guy who takes everyone's orders is honestly the sweetest, he always makes my day when i go in. overall just an amazing experience every time definitely one of my favorite spots

Highly recommend coming here to satisfy your Korean wings craving. We ordered the 8 piece wings in soy garlic and spicy and they did not disappoint! The wings were freshly fried to perfection and we gobbled them up ASAP. I do recommend either dining here or eating the wings immediately to get the best flavor and texture. The staff are also super patient and kind!

This sandwich was so good. Very flavorful and big serving portion. Some parts of the chicken was a bit crispy especially combined with the crispy roll - but overall it was YUMMY. The gentleman who took my order on the phone was very kind and patient. He explained the different menu options to me very thoroughly which was helpful. I will definitely order again and look forward to trying their tenders.

Placed an order over the phone right when they opened at 11am on a Saturday, pickup time was at 11:40am, so people must have already placed orders ahead of me. The order was ready a few minutes prior. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Wings were packed neatly into the boxes, which have holes to avoid steaming/losing their crunch in transit. They all had an even ratio of flats to drums. We tried all 3 flavors - soy garlic, sweet and spicy, and salt and pepper - all excellent and faultless. The soy garlic was the favorite, sweet and spicy was balanced/not too spicy, and salt and pepper perfectly seasoned. Wings were the perfect size, not wimpy, and fall off the bone tender. They have a good selection of drinks as well as some slaws in the fridge to add to your order. Grabbed a couple of sweet fruity Korean sodas. The restaurant is small but effective, and a few tables are available to dine in. Would definitely return!

A small "hole in the wall" spot in Teaneck. Has a very small & awkward to use lot with like 4 spaces. You'll have to back out onto a busy street when leaving, or do about a 10 point turn to turn around in the back area of the lot, lol. There's 1 table, for dining in, & it's amongst supplies and such. These are not negatives, it gives the experience a unique feel. The staff is right there working in the kitchen behind the counter for you to see. Polite & as quick as can be, as all orders are made to go, & not just sitting around under a heat lamp. We had the Soy Garlic Wings, Salt & Pepper Wings, & the small Wing & Drum Stick, which is 3 wings & 2 large drumsticks. The flavor for that was Sweet & Spicy. All very good on flavor, & well prepared. Definitely a go to spot when in the area. We also had a side of Fries, Kimchi, Spicy Mayo, & Boki Sauce. The latter of which I can't quite describe what the flavor reminds me of, but it is sweet & spicy. Grades: Soy Garlic Wings: B Salt & Pepper Wings: B+ Small Wings & Drumstick (Sweet & Spicy): A Steak Fries: A Kimchi: B+ Boki Sauce: B- Spicy Mayo: C+

You order at the front and pick up your food when it's ready. It's actually a really convenient system, and since there is no table service, there's no expectation to leave a gratuity. The food itself is consistently good. The parking lot is very, very small and shared with the cafe next door, so parking can be a squeeze. Because it's so popular, it gets very busy during prime dining hours. Even when I've ordered takeout, there can sometimes be a decent wait to get your food so I recommend order online or over the phone ahead. They do charge a little extra if you pay with a credit card to cover the fees. If you visit during the summer months, you absolutely have to try the Naeng Myeon (cold noodle soup) or the Bibim Naeng Myeon (spicy cold noodles). They really hit the spot and are incredibly refreshing. Highly recommend!
