We visited Bledsoe Family Winery while we were in town for the weekend wine tasting. Our host was Tabatha and she was absolutely OUTSTANDING! We had a glass of wine and while we were talking she asked what other wineries we were visiting. It turns out one of the wineries on our list closed and failed to notify us. She not only suggested an alternate location, she went above and beyond and booked a reservation for us for the next day. We also forgot some of our wine from a different location and another customer ran two blocks to give us our wine! Thank you so much Tabatha and that you and Bledsoe for the great wine! Headed into Walla Walla from Seattle for a wine weekend, and after the long drive our first stop was Bledsoe Family Winery Tasting Room right on Main Street, a perfect start. We had a 5 p.m. reservation and were seated right away, which set the tone. The tasting room is well designed with both indoor and outdoor seating, a little chilly for the patio this time, but a great setup for couples or groups of friends. The staff were excellent, breaking down the differences between Bledsoe Family, Doubleback, and Bledsoe McDaniels in a way that actually made sense. As Cab fans in Cabernet country, we expected to go straight red, but the 2025 Elizabeth Chardonnay surprised us, light, crisp, and a great opener. The 2023 Bob Healy Reserve stood out with rich dark fruit, a smooth, structured finish, and just the right touch of oak. Our host added a few extra pours along the way, and with the buy-two-bottles waiver...eight bottles later, tasting was covered. The real win was $20 flat-rate shipping, even to Hawaii, which made it easy to bring Walla Walla home with us. read more

It's fine. As not a wine drinker I don't know what to say. Your wife or girlfriend will drag you here and you'll make the most of it. Make low "hm" noises when they over-explain why what you're tasting needs appreciated ya big slob. It's not better or worse than any other place around here. What's in the Bledsoe name? I learned what LFG means and it's truly dumb and has nothing to do with wine. LFG wine true to the name would be a ghost pepper fried chicken drumstick floating in a beer stein of boxed White Zin and Bang Energy Drink with a flaming Everclear chaser. Bledsoe Family Winery was the first wine we had in Walla Walla, and boy, was it an awesome first impression to wine country! On a Saturday afternoon I was greeted by the friendly employee who was helping out a couple at the bar and another couple with their dog on the comfy chairs. The corner space is on the smaller side, but I just love that they're dog-friendly! I did a tasting, which included five tastings, one white, one rose and three reds. I didn't care for the white, but I hardly ever like white wine. Yet, the rose and reds were fantastic! Rose was nice, with a light sweetness and was refreshing. But the reds were the real winner here. Of all the reds, I loooved the syrah! It was so bold, savory, and full-bodied. At $69 a bottle, it's definitely on the pricier side, but is one of the best syrahs I've ever tasted. It's a must at Bledsoe! I'm glad we visited Bledoe, as they really do offer flavorful red wines that would make any steak dinner complete. And yes, this winery is NFL's Drew Bledoe's family winery. The Patriots still suck, but his wines are awesome! read more

Bledsoe is a must for those who like white and cool wines. This did not pop up on our radar during prior research but we ended up here by word of mouth during our visits to other tasting rooms. I ended up leaving with the Elizabeth chardonnay. This was shocker because I generally do not look for chardonnays: it was a pleasant surprise from the flight. I also enjoyed their rosé. I also liked that their tasting room felt more like a cafe or bar, so that we could sit and talk and relax without feeling rushed or without needing to fight for seats. As we finished one wine, an attentive staff member would bring out the next. No hassle or flagging anyone down. Next time I'm in town, I'm heading straight here first! read more

What a great time at Spring Release 2019! Went to the new Bledsoe Family Winery (Doubleback) location out on 3853 Powerline Rd in Walla Walla, WA. Awesome facility, view and staff. I didn't ask while I was there, but if they rent the space for catered parties, do it! You won't be disappointed. More important than the two locations, yes they still have the Main St location in downtown Walla Walla, is the staff at both locations. These people were professional, knowledgable, and cared about everyone's enjoyment even with large crowds mingling around. If Nordstrom ran a winery/tasting room, it would be hard pressed to out do the Bledsoe Family Winery and tasting rooms for selection and service.‼ read more

I wish I could give this tasting room more than 1 star but I left VERY disappointed. This was the 2nd tasting room I stopped by while in Walla Walla. The day before I had been in Pullman for the Apple Cup (My Cougs lost) and decided to stay in Walla Walla so that I could visit this tasting room specifically because I am a big fan of the owner. To my disappointment it was closed when we arrived at 2 PM on a Saturday. Yelp said the tasting room was open but the tasting room door said that tastings were BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. I ended up going to other tasting rooms and enjoyed myself. However, it really disappointed me that I drove 600 miles round trip from Portland and failed to get a tasting in. I hope the appointment only policy changes in the future. If it does I will gladly amend my review.... after a tasting of course! read more

We stopped by about 20 min before closing time on a Sunday. The gals that were working stayed behind and let us do a tasting and ask questions. The last couple times we've been in town the location was closed, and we were so worried when we realized that we were still about 50 miles away and cutting it so close to closing time. Bledsoe Family Winery is a spinoff of Doubleback (which has an amazing Cabernet!). The Bledsoe wine label has the Healey rosé, one of my favorites, Stolen Horse Syrah (always a winner!), Flying B Cabernet, Elizabeth Chardonnay, and their 1 liter "family wine" which is a great bargain (especially if you're a wine club member). The tasting room staff are friendly and helpful and if you're there on an event weekend, you'll most likely run into Drew himself. read more

My wife and I had the pleasure of experiencing the Bledsoe Family wines at the Washington Wine event in seattle last February where we were invited to visit them at their new Doubleback winery in walla walla. In april, we took them up on that offer and arranged a visit to the winery with Molly for a private tasting that included 14 of us. The winery and setting is beautiful and is a must see when in walla walla. We were greeted with the Healy rose and moved from there to the reds. The 2016 Cabernet is amazing now and will be fantastic with a year or two on it! Great setting and hospitality, you could easily spend the afternoon there on their roof deck with a box lunch sampling their wonderful wines. read more
