Went there for some wine slushie's, super nice guy who served us and nice small talk. He was helpful in choosing which slushy. The mango and sangria he said was sweeter and the rose and other one was not as sweet. We sat outside since it was a warmer day but you could also sit inside. I truly enjoyed their live music. Everyone singing along to well known tunes while in a drunken stupor is quite the experience. I tried their rosé, which was nothing to write home about but wasn't bad either. Ultimately, this is a great stop in the middle of downtown to enjoy the music and come down from a heavy drinking night. The outside decor was nice but unfortunately the live music is indoors so you gotta pick one or the other. It does have an older crowd but everyone is lively so it doesn't affect the mood negatively. read more

If you're looking for a place to rest and have an ice cold wine slushy during your stay in Walla Walla check out Plumb Cellars. Its the perfect drink for a hot summer day. We were in Walla Walla mid-June and decided to cool down at Plumb Cellars with a Margarita and Red Sangria Slushy. The Margarita Slushy was our favorite! It tasted more like a lemonade while the Sangria slushy was on the sweeter side and had a fruity berry flavor. We actually decided to mix both of them together in the end and preferred having the berry lemonade flavors together. We would definitely be getting the blended drink in the future. The location is right in the heart of downtown, so its easy to find! The staff were friendly and the patio was nice for hanging out. read more

I do like the setting, a wonderful haunt in downtown, the wine is very good too but I just can't get over how mediocre the music is, I am not trying to be harsh but as someone who's lived in major metropolitan areas you'd think they'd want the very best music to be paired with their wines. My two friends and I go to Whitman College, and like to go out to wineries and treat ourselves and explore the local wine culture on occasion. We are also all seniors, and are on the search for wineries to show our parents during upcoming Graduation weekend! We went to Plumb for a live music night on Friday, as we saw it on Facebook. The tasting room associate for this event upon our entrance immediately asked for our ID's, and she offered no welcome or introduction. As this was happening, we looked at the list of wines they had. My friends discussed waiting a bit to feel out the options. She then brusquely informed us that there was a $7 cover charge, and we needed to order something or pay the cover. She did not offer any guidance or recommendation regarding the wines, or ask us if we have been in before. We all felt rushed and flustered, and ended up ordering glasses of the Plumb Crazy (delicious!) and sat down. My friend later regretted the decision, as she didn't realize there were other drink options (wine slushies!) due to the curt and impatient nature of the associate at the counter. We didn't feel welcome and felt very pressured as soon as we walked in. The cover charge was also not mentioned in the Facebook event, where most Walla Walla events either have no cover (seemingly the large majority) or detail the cover charge. While the wine was good and the music enjoyable, my friends and I felt very unwelcome by this interaction. We left after we finished our wine. I hope other associates at Plumb are more welcoming, although I am not sure if I and my friends will be going back. read more

Is this a tasting room or the best darn pub in town???? We are frequent flyers at Plumb Cellars. The tasting room is nicely lit and has lots of comfortable seating, as well as plenty of space to "belly up to the bar". Natural, filtered light comes in from windows on two sides. Windows in the front allow for ample people-watching, and the outdoor seating by the creek is a nice addition. The wine is very good and very reasonably priced. In warm weather, they sell wine slushies, and their cooler has an assortment of cold cuts, cheeses, and crackers to nosh on while you sip. The people who run Plumb are full of energy, knowledgeable, welcoming and fun-loving. On a Friday or Saturday night, you really will think you are in a great little pub. And did I mention the live music? Live music every weekend, and they get the best. In true pub tradition, you can sing along, dance, or just listen, and chat up the musicians and singers between sets. Plumb Cellars is like a pub also in the way it attracts locals, as well as tourists. If you drop in regularly, as we do since we live here, you will meet the other regulars, and Plumb will feel like your local local. Super friendly, upbeat, lively crowd. Was not impressed with this winery at all. Stopped here yesterday since they had outside seating and we walked in and the server didn't greet us, I had to. I then asked him how he was doing but he did not ask us. We just stood there and waited for him to ask us what we would like or if we wanted to do a tasting. Finally I said we just wanted to get a glass of wine and he gave us a list. When I asked about one in particular he just gave a short answer and seemed unsure of the wine. Didn't like how here wasn't much of a selection of wine, if there was we didn't know about it. Sat outside on the patio which was nice and relaxing. Don't plan to be back to this one but there's also 15 others on the block. read more

My wife and I brought our son for the christmas parade. We called earlier in the day to make a reservation we were told they didn't accept reservations for events. We arrived early and the best table was reserved. We expressed our annoyance with the situation and left it at that. A few mins later I walked past the bar and heard all three of the bartenders speaking Ill and making very inappropriate and unprofessional comments about my wife and I. I confronted them and they attempted to deny having said anything at all, despite my having heard it myself. They did attempt to apologize after I refused to allow their denial. I personally will never return to this horrible establishment. No business with staff who behave in such a way should be patronized by civil people. read more

Really good, unpretentious wines. I bought the Estate Syrah. So good! Service was friendly too, with a chill atmosphere. I have to admit, I thought wine slushies sounded crazy, but my daughter and wife shared the Sangria slushy, and it was SOOOOOO good on a hot day! This is the only place in town to get them, too. I have tried, and purchased, many of their wines and find them all just "odd." I am truly convinced they put someone else's wine in their tasting room bottles to make you think they have an outstanding product. Just opened an Afternoon Delight which is labeled 100% Viognier. It's godawful. I found the same with Damn Straight and Sangiovese. Yuck. This winery is a mess. read more

A lovely and classic Walla Walla winery. I was initially skeptical due to its eclectic tasting room (it shares a space with a frame company), but my tasting expereinces have truly been enjoyable. Plumb has something for everyone. It has complex reds, tasty whites, and its wine slushies are perfect for a warm day.
