He seemed very nice and gave us a very competitive bid so we hired him and gave him a good size deposit for the job that he said he needed to buy the materials. After that he ghosted us for over 6 months. He kept scheduling the work and then make excuses as to why he didn't show up. After telling him we had no choice but to take him to small claims court he paid us back part of the deposit and said he would pay the rest the following week. He then ghosted us again. I hate leaving bad reviews but just trying to protect others from experiencing what happened to us.

My wife and I joke that we're five years into a six month remodel. It was pretty extensive with almost everything, down to the wiring and plumbing, changed. The house has a flat roof and we went from a BUR (tar & gravel) to a foam roof to add some insulation to the design. Love the new roof! Along with the roof change, we replaced all the flashing and gutters and hired Five Star to come out to do the gutters. It's a modern design with tall metal-clad fascia that we wanted to match gutters both in style and color. Five Star was awesome in coming up with a few design recommendations and color match. The actually matched the dark bronze for the lateral runs and matched the lighter stucco color for the downspouts. The downspouts are works of art, following a couple of beams and protrusions across the two floors of the house. We had a couple of leaks at the downspout connections and the guys were quick to come out and fix those at no extra charge. It's been about two years since they did the work and everything still looks and works great. Highly recommended after all this time. Now I need to get reviews out there for Paso Robles Plaster (pure artistry on the stucco!), Central Coast Door & Window (great to work with), Andy Sunderland (beautiful hardwood floors), TileCo in SLO (love them!), Pacific Shores Stone, Pacific Coast Kitchen and Bath, Hayward Lumber, Warnes Paints. It's an easy fix, but they won't come back to fix it. We've been trying to call for weeks. We leave messages; they call us and tell us that they need to call us back once they sort out their schedule, and then don't call back again. I would not recommend this company, because when they make an error, they will not fix it for you.
