    Wine flight

A perfect find. Only thing missing was David lol. Had the flight and loved every sip. Created a play list just for this adorable winery that blends Virginia laid back country with a touch of upscale city and a sprinkle of old fashion winery mixed together. Very charming beautiful and peaceful place to visit. The wines are amazing and priced very well better than most vineyards in the local area. The artwork pure David. Love it. A must visit

Beautiful environment. Incredibly friendly staff. Great wines. Enjoyed our time at the winery outside while we drank our wine. Perfect weather!

We had another great wine tasting experience at Blenheim today. We had one white flight and one red flight before filling our growlers with the Claim House red (wine on tap). We had friendly service and enjoyed our experience on the outdoor tasting room deck. The membership at this winery is the best value in C-ville. $75 for a 4-pack three times per year and two free flights or glasses at every visit, as well as 20% off any additional bottles.

This was my second time visiting but my first time sitting in the A-framed structured tasting room where you can see the wine making process taking place in the cellar below. Not being a fan of red wines in general, the 2022 Albariño had an approachable flavor that was not dry and overly aggressive. If all red wines tasted like this, I would definitely add it to my go to drink list.

Pretty view! Not a huge selection of wine, but the inside was like a wooden cabin. We enjoyed our quick pit stop in here! Staff was very friendly too!

My girlfriends and I came on a lovely fall day and had a great time. We brought our own picnic and enjoyed the wine and grounds. People clearly "make a day" of hanging out here. There is a friendly vibe and ample seating for large and small groups. Tastings were an excellent way to try pretty much everything and split among friends. I leaned a little more toward the whites, but there was something for everyone. Definitely check out this spot if you can.

For what Blenheim is, it's really not all that bad at all. Apparently this winery/vineyard is partially (if not fully) owned by Dave Matthews so I can see this one gaining popularity soon. The view is pretty decent and it's just a nice spot to kick back and drink some wine. PROS: - Nice view - Large Establishment (indoor/outdoor seating) - Friendly staff CONS: -none

Very cool spot, small and social, but neat inside how you can look down into the winery. They sell snacks (yummy pimento cheese!) and the patio was so nice to sit outback on. Service was great!

Beautiful views. Good flight tasting options. Their signature wine is the Painted Red. Nice visit. Tables inside and high top tables on deck.

The big 700. What does one review for their 700th review? I would like to say a special occasion, a fancy meal, etc. However, as someone who has been to over 100 Dave Matthews concerts, it seems appropriate that his vineyard would be a special review. We finally struck gold...well maybe silver...after repeated fails at Charlottesville area wineries. We are huge Dreaming Tree wine fans (and die hard Dave Matthews Band fans), so we obviously had to make the trip to Blenheim. Maybe our opinions are skewed by our love of all things Dave Matthews, but we really enjoyed our tastings and learning about the wines from Michael, our server. Not every wine was a winner and other wineries definitely have better views, hence the 4 stars instead of 5, but two or three of the wines were great-very drinkable-and it was a nice tasting room, excellent service, and a decent view, if not the best. Their steel cask wines are better then the oaked wines. Their "On the Line" white, the rose', and their "Painted Red" (the red blend, but not the painted white) were the ones we brought home with us. Considered joining the wine club too but we have too much wine as it is. Although, is there such a thing? Anyway, he knows wine and he knows music. This should be one of your stops. (I didn't say it would great review)

Wonderful second stop on our wine day. The staff were so friendly. I made a reservation for Friday for the deck but thankfully because it wasn't crowded we were able to move under the tent. The deck is beautiful but got less breeze and during the day it was hot! Right now, they do not have any indoor space open so be prepared. The scenery is beautiful. I ordered a flight and a bottle. We also were able to bring our own snacks to enjoy. The prices were great and the location was a blast.

A new favorite for sure! It may not have the stunning view of some other vineyards, but it had the most delightful back patio and an interesting interior (you can see through the floor. We only tried the rose, but we will be back for more!

Incredible! We were in Charlottesville for a wedding and extended our stay for a day so we could explore some of the wineries and all that the area has to offer. As huge DMB fans, it only made sense that we stopped by Blenheim. From the second we arrived, there was a relaxed and chill vibe that clicked with us. The whole place is decorated with Dave's art, which is just amazing to see alone. We chose to do a guided wine tasting, which I can't recommend enough. Marciah (Marcy-Ah) I'm not sure I'm spelling her name properly, was amazing. She was so knowledgeable about everything, super sweet, funny and just a joy to chat with. She even did interpretive dances to explain how the wines tasted. I wanted to hug her when we left but we're still in Covid times so, even after a few glasses of wine, I held back We stayed for almost 4 hours, ate, drank, laughed, soaked in the views and loved every minute of our visit. I can't recommend Blenheim enough. We can't wait to come back when we visit again.

Ask the Community - Blenheim Vineyards

    Is it pet friendly?

Yes, I've seen lots of doggos at the winery.

Is this winery at all kid friendly? I see the "not good for kids" tag, but not sure how that gets used.

It's more of a relaxing atmosphere for couples & friends to enjoy wine and food, vs having kids running rampant like your at aunt Becky's house while having wine with the gals.

The winery is Dave Matthews and he created all the art you see there, not my style of art but the signature wine is very good.

We enjoyed our wine and people (and dog) watching. My favorites were the 2024 Viognier and the Woodland White. The 2024 Petit Manseng was good, but a bit tart, and the Artist White blend was too dry for my liking. This is a great winery that you should visit when in the area, that's both kid and dog friendly.
