The ladies asked if we were sharing and split it into two bowls for us. Soup was hearty and healthy; something your aunt or grandma would make you at home. - Brando's burger ($11.00) - we asked for gluten free bread ($0.75) which took a bit longer to make/toast. Schnitzel is a large portion but doesn't have a crunchy texture. Sandwich hit the spot. - Roast beef ($8.25) - J opted for a kaiser bun for his roast beef sandwich. Thoroughly enjoyed on his end. I also asked if the other bread had milk or animal products in it and was told "this is the bread we use for vegans." I am a nurse, and I went over on my lunch break in hopes to get a quality made sandwich, instead I paid $9.00 for a sandwich I could have made at home. I am displeased overall and am asking for compensation. My friend also purchased a sandwich, she was told the herb bread was not available and also wanted the sicilian sandwich and was told its only seasonal. Overall I would not eat here again and advise others not to either. Poor service, lack of knowledge from the staff and slow service. Also, I wouldn't even give it 1 star.
