I got some medium sized knotless braids and they took exactly 5 hours. It was a little confusing finding the shop at first since I'm not familiar with the area, but Sophie walked me through how to find the location on the phone and once I finally arrived a few minutes later, we were able to get started on the braiding quickly. I expressed that I don't like my braids too tight and for her to stay away from my edges and she did everything I asked. Charisma has the sweetest spirit, she listens to what you want, is extremely knowledgeable about hair, and I can't say enough about how fair the pricing is. You will be hard-pressed to get a sew-in for under $350 in the DC area, but you can tell Happy Tresses is mindful of the working woman's price-point and standard of quality. I should also add Charisma did the best cornrows I've EVER had in record time.
