Dr. Carroll is a wonderful and thorough vet who truly cares and goes out of his way to communicate well with you through any health challenges you may navigate.

The rules are simple you visit the shelter, you see a dog or cat that you interested in, you put in an application only for that particular animal. You have a meet and greet with put a deposit down. They will contact you once you are approved. Our dog is already chipped and neutered and they sent us away with a little food and a free veterinarian exam. So we have an appointment to establish a local veterinarian. The place is well run, the staff is nice, and the animals are well cared for. I would recommend checking them out. They have stat sheets on all the animals.

I started calling them at 5:45 with a small emergency with my little Gigi. Nobody picked up the phone so I decided to drive down. . Two girls sitting at the front desk with not one person in the waiting room. So they ignored my phone calls number one. . Then I explained that Gigi might've pulled a nail out out of socket. There was blood everywhere and they basically told me that they couldn't see me because they close in four minutes and that the doctor was seeing his last patient and they don't take anybody after 6 o'clock and I got there at 5:55. They turned me and Gigi away without a care in the world. Maybe they should take their f-ing 'walk-in' welcome sign off the sidewalk. I am livid. Napa West Pet Hospital

The first two vets I called were booked out for at least 3 weeks. Alley Cat could see us the next day. We took our dog in for an eye issue and they addressed it quickly and properly with a prescription that took care of the issue. The charges were reasonable. I did have to wait for quite some time before being able to check out. I think the tech had gotten busy with another client and forgot I was waiting for the Rx and to pay. Overall an expected experience.
