    Philly wrap with bacon
    Debra S.

After a long day of moving our son in his apartment we were glad to find this place. We were seated right away and the place was full. It was trivia night. We ordered the Philly in a wrap and added bacon. With a side of tots. The food came out quick and tasted really good. It was a bit on the pricey side with having to pay extra for a side. Since it didn't come with the wrap. It came out to about $16 for the wrap with tots. I would go back I really liked the wrap.

Our ticket for two burgers and a beer while waiting.

I've frequented Blind Pig at the other locations over the years. This location (the second time we did business here) just doesn't seem consistent. I was attempting to phone an order in for pickup while my husband was out. A female answered & immediately placed me on hold. Held seven minutes without her returning, I hung up. Never could get back through, line stayed busy. They were not busy at all. I don't think we'll return to this location now. To add to the service issue, it's extremely clicky with just some neighborhood folks. And that's fine, we love our neighborhood bars too. But the service just isn't there. The waitresses were too busy going for more shots before they left for the day. The food is just ok. We liked the burgers. But, fair warning, everything is over the top SALTY. If you're ok with bar food, that basically is what it is at best. The downtown location has MUCH better food.

Burgers, tots, fried pickles, beer, and a whole lotta yum!

This is the first place I ate at here and will always come here, the food is amazing and the staff is super friendly. The burgers are amazing and the fried pickles.

Pine Bar is a small restaurant that has a variety of wines, mixed drinks and tapas. There are 2 outdoor patios, one covered and one uncovered and in an inside too. They take reservations as well, but we came around 6pm on a Wednesday and they weren't too busy. By 6:30pm, it started to pick up though! We came specifically for the happy hour. Which is 5-7pm and they $15 bottled wines and $1 off raw oysters. We were promptly seated on the patio when we arrived, given water for us and our pup that had joined us. We started off with drinks and a dozen oysters, let me say these oysters were very good and they give you everything you need to eat with them. I wonder if the saltine crackers are homemade! Next we ordered 3 different tapas: the cauliflower, hummus and slider trio. All were super delicious! Overall my experience at The Pine Bar was spectacular and I'm pretty sure I'll be a regular in the future!

The food: I went with the Fried Chicken Blue Plate. Between the regular and the Nashville Hot, the Nashville was the winner--flavorful and moist without being overwhelming with the spice. Huge shoutout to my server for suggesting the brussel sprouts; that glaze is incredible and they were easily my favorite part of the plate. The mashed sweet potatoes were unique--I'm still debating if I liked them or loved them. The jalapeño cornbread was a bit sweet for my taste but on par with most restaurant cornbread. The mac & cheese wasn't bad, but also didn't do much for me like most restaurant mac & cheese. The cocktail: Do not sleep on Nana's Naissance. I wasn't sure what to expect from the ingredients, but it's like an elevated take on Rumchata. The service: I was seated at the bar and experienced a noticeable delay--a group that arrived well after me almost finished their meal before mine arrived. However, the waitress acknowledged the wait before I even had to mention it and made things right. I really appreciate that kind of proactive service. We're all human, and they handled the situation very professionally.
