As a seasoned installer, my only suggestion is for the roller blind bracket "wing nut". The roller bar has a very tight space to start the threading of the nut. Persistence works well. So, if the wing nut had only "one" longer wing, It would be a "one finger" install. Hello, Was assigned…read morea service technician via my home warranty - Select Home Warranty and scheduled for a visit on Thursday 9/5/24 with an arrival time between 11 and 3pm. The service technician never showed, I called him, no answer. I called into the call center, they called him and he didn't answer. He called me that evening said he'd been stuck on a job and that he'd call me Friday at 10AM and be at hoe home Friday 9/6 at 5:30 - neither happened. I called into the call center Friday, the rep tried to call Fabriclean, he didn't answer. He sent me a text that said he'd call me in fifteen minutes, that did not happen. The rep said that she'd put in an emergency service request. I called in this afternoon - the rep notified me that same person was assigned to my case. He called him - Fabriclean texted me saying they'd call me right back and that they'd be at my home today. Its 6:30 - no call back, no tech here, and he won't answer the phone.

So I dealt mainly with the owner Andre who had recently taken the business over from his father. I could tell by his knowledge and how he answered my questions that he's been at it a long time and that made me feel incredibly comfortable. One thing that I want to point out was how incredibly difficult I made this deal on Andre due to the time restrictions I had put on him. I basically had no wiggle room whatsoever in a time when COVID has made shipping completely unpredictable. But unfortunately for him this was the last piece of the puzzle in a long drawn out project that I started and my family just needed it done in order to move on with our lives. The pressure I put on this man was easily enough for most to give up. But instead Andre absolutely bent over backwards to help us out. Even in saying that I think it's an understatement. On the day of install he actually shows up with carpet and helped the installers for hours just to get the project done. I honestly couldn't appreciate his service anymore. His father should be incredibly proud he has left his business in great hands. The carpet,pad and install are all top notch. Our call was returned immediately and Paul Craig, owner of the company, provided exceptional detail about the various products and their benefits / drawbacks. We scheduled a site visit; Paul showed up right on time with samples and guided us through the various applications. We selected the VueSafe product. Paul indicated a 2-week lead time... but as Hurricane Sandy approached Paul contacted us on Saturday morning to let us know they had accelerated production and an installer would be on-site that day. The installer, Ed, was prompt, courteous and diligent throughout the installation process. We couldn't be happier. The product is up and already we feel more secure. We selected the electric controlled roll shutter product. From our initial contact with Steve through frequent contact with the project foreman and wonderful installers, the project couldn't have gone better. The local showroom displays all the products to view, and the custom installation looks great. The shutters also seem to be excellent quality. Before the order was sent to the factory, the installers came out to review it to make sure of any special challenges or material that would be required. After installation, which they worked around our schedules, they were careful to explain proper use and maintenance as well. It is obvious that this company takes great pride in their business, and realize that customer service and recommendations mean everything. We are very pleased, and look forward to the shutter protection during storm season.
