Jimmy made time to meet me at one location and to accompany me to two more nearby locations on the same visit. Together, we checked out several used 6 x 8 mirrors at a nearby gym, looked at a few other mirrors I had in storage, and did a recon trip of the mirrors' final destination. Along the way, Jimmy provided the information that I needed about the correct tools for moving and installing the mirrors myself with a friend. (I should have brought two friends and insisted upon paying them). He also consulted with me, my contractor friend and the building GC about the best way to build secure and attractive frames for the mirrors. After we completed the framing and moved a couple of the mirrors on our own, I wound up asking Jimmy to help procure, move and install the rest of the mirrors onto the frames. "We take credit cards," he said. I sent him on his way and called ARG Locksmith. Had a phone call and text exchange with Nicole, who assured me that they could do much better. Gus was professional, helpful, and kind. He took the lock apart and found fragments of a small broken spring jamming up the works. He removed it, cleaned and lubricated the inside, tested the mechanism, and had me turn the key and the interior knob several time to ensure that I was satisfied with the repair. The cost was ARG's minimum service fee -- a fraction of what the other guy quoted me -- and the lock glides like new. Gus even apologized for the poor treatment I had received from the first locksmith. He assured me that he was available 24/7 if I needed further help. ARG not only repaired my lock and saved me hundreds but also restored my faith in the goodness of people. I have the utmost respect for those who take pride in their work and do business fairly. No one showed up or called. Ray and Nathan showed up the following day and apologized for not calling . Ray then climbed on to the roof and did a thorough examination with photos. They submitted an excellent proposal. The price was reasonable. I requested one change and it was immediately added to the estimate and emailed to me. Several more issues developed before I signed the contract. I called Nathan. He told me he was driving and he would get back to me. He never did. I called Ray and suggested that the entire roof may need replacing. He promised to come out the following day. He never showed and never called. This company may do excellent work but the poor scheduling and lack of communication is a major problem for me. I won't be hiring them.
