I was feely mighty ambitious and thrifty when I called Krystal Glass to ask for a consultation regarding a big mirror project at my new dance studio. Jimmy made time to meet me at one location and to accompany me to two more nearby locations on the same visit. Together, we checked out several used 6 x 8 mirrors at a nearby gym, looked at a few other mirrors I had in storage, and did a recon trip of the mirrors' final destination. Along the way, Jimmy provided the information that I needed about the correct tools for moving and installing the mirrors myself with a friend. (I should have brought two friends and insisted upon paying them). He also consulted with me, my contractor friend and the building GC about the best way to build secure and attractive frames for the mirrors. After we completed the framing and moved a couple of the mirrors on our own, I wound up asking Jimmy to help procure, move and install the rest of the mirrors onto the frames. Jimmy and his team handled my many requests promptly, with kindness, patience and professionalism. I will be back with any and all of my glass needs and I will also be providing referrals. I made an appointment with the above company on February 19 for a February 28 cleaning. I received…read morea text message at 9pm the night before stating that all appointments have been canceled due to weather. As someone who is a supervisor and leads a team on daily basis, I completely agree on ensuring everyone is safe, especially when weather can be dangerous. In the text message the guidance given is to reach out to the company and reschedule. The very next day on March 1 I reach out to the company to reschedule. I receive a text message back two hours later stating that there is an opening on Thursday, 2 March at 12:30pm. I agree to the appointment. The day of, at 12:30pm I text at 1231 and mention that I am home, please advise when you arriving. No arrives, calls, or even sends a text. The company is a no show. I call at 1246 and no one picks up. I receive a response at 2:07pm I'm guessing from the owner since the person never identified themselves mentioning that they have COVID and have been hospitalized since Tuesday night and that there secretary was supposed to reach out to me an led cancel. I text back to summarize my experience and mention that maybe the secretary needs more training and it would have been nice to have received a phone call so I could schedule with someone else. I receive another text message that I felt was unprofessional and telling me that we are all "human" and that "this is not in my hands" and that "I have a second job, I work in a hospital, maybe I get infected there" as there are continuous apologies. Here are my concerns: 1.) When originally canceling the appointment due to weather, sickness, etc it should NEVER fall on the client to be the one to reschedule. Proper customer service entails the company reaching out to the client and making the effort to reschedule. This shows that the clients business is indeed important. 2.) The need to communicate through text message should be limited. Pick up a phone and actually talk to your client. This can help alleviate any misconstrued information and it shows your clients that they matter. I wish I could have experienced what the other reviewers experienced, however, the ball was dropped big time. I'm also in the process of moving out of my condo in two days, and this experience really didn't help.

We contacted B&B in the Spring of 2016 ( yes 2016), to have glass installed in 3 new bathrooms in…read moreour newly remodeled home. Scott Bauer provided a quote and insisted on 50% payment upfront. Then the delays began. We were able to get one shower installed during the Summer of 2016, an upstairs bath. However, we have found there is a chip in the top of one glass panel, which will require repair or replacement. Then Scott Bauer became unavailable and did not respond to phone calls. He would not provide a work schedule. The second shower glass unit, in our master bath was finally installed around November 2016, but the door hardware , handles and door sweep are missing. Now, we have discovered that the door has sagged and will not close . It's a year later (2017) and Scott does not respond to our calls. He is always making excuses why he can't perform. However, we know he is doing jobs everyday around us. Our guest bathroom is unusable without its shower unit . This has been paid in full in 2016. Scott Bauer is a dishonest and irrational individual who should not be licensed in any state to do business. He is a thief and should be in jail. We strongly suggest not contacting B&B Glass .
