Every time they fit perfectly with the measurements we provide, easy enough to install if you have a drill, they look great and the up and down system works flawlessly. They aren't 100% light blocking but darken the room enough to sleep and provide privacy. They also arrive very quickly. With the last one there was a slight delay but company was great in communicating. They still arrived before Christmas. Will continue to buy from this company. Color is great as is the quality sand price is also very good. They often have sales or special promotions if you order several. They also arrive within days. Needed a cellular shade for garage window. It will get dusty etc so didn't want to spend a lot on it. Ordered their least expensive one. The top rail is some sort of plastic, so if you have a wide area, be sure to use at least three of the brackets evenly spaced to hold it to the top of the window. If you just put one near each side of the window, when you pull the shade down it will bend down in the middle. I don't know if their more expensive shades have metal rails or not, but the cheap one I bought worked fine for the garage. Easy to order, very easy to install. Just use enough brackets in your window. I upgraded to four stars from three. The reason is because I ordered the cheapest blind because it was for the garage and as I said it works just fine. Think I was too harsh as it was a vinyl rail and not metal, but the reply from company noted that the more expensive blinds have metal rails. I also saved a lot of money by going with Blinds Chalet. read more

Don't do it. I ordered over $1000 worth of blinds from them after reading all of the reviews. Wow. The quality of them is so poor that we will likely just have to scrap some of them. The black shades actually came with white paper on the back. The other rolling shades look and feel like they are made of paper. The blinds ship from China. I ordered one small blind three weeks ago and still no blind. I have a fed ex shipping number and the item hasn't moved in two days. Such a disappointing process. First off, one of my best friends recommended Blinds Chalet because they have used them on two different homes in the last 20 yrs. and had a great experience. First, I called and talked to one of their agents who helped me pick out and order samples so I could see them in person before committing to a color. They highly recommend you do this, so take the time to do it. I used temp. paper ones from a box store until the good ones came. The samples arrived quickly and I was able to view them in different rooms at different times of day in different light- natural and fluorescent. I purchased Premier 3/4" Cordless, top down/bottom up blinds in both light filtering and blackout in the color Alabaster. The colors will appear slightly different between the two different types of blinds so be aware of that. They are not identical in color, but they are comparable to me so make sure you get samples of the colors you're considering so they are acceptable to you if you're going with both light filtering and blackout. The customer service was excellent- I called several times with different questions and they were very helpful every time. I am a 59 yr old woman with zero experience putting in blinds and I was able to do this by myself. I was very proud of my accomplishment and REALLY love how they look and operate...AND I got a really great price during one of their sales over the holidays. This isn't a real blinds company. After receiving a $260 Roman shade (which was identical to one I could have gotten at Select Blinds), it didn't fit the inside of my window frame because the depth of the frame wasn't long enough to fit the hardware. I called to see if they had a different bracket and they said "We will need to check with the manufacturer" which made me think this was a Select Blinds blind. They came back the next day and said that's the only bracket for this blind. They didn't provide any solution...even thought it cost me $260. It seemed like Blinds Chalet is just a retailer who doesn't care about the actual quality of the final product. I will never buy from them again. read more

I only ordered the 5 year fit package being a man not knowing any different. Called and found that I have to send them back at my cost and I am only getting a total refund after shipping of just half of my original cost.
