Dependable company with exceptional customer service- rated AAA After 24 years my wife and I decided to replace our blinds. It is no longer working properly. We visited the Somerville branch by Rt 22. A sales associate, Amy, promptly attended to us. To boost the service even more, Amy involved Ari who quickly informed us that Blinds to Go will repair our blinds at no cost. I was surprised that the company sincerely meant a lifetime warranty when we bought it, more than 2 decades ago. We didn't have to buy a new one. So, I returned to the store to bring in the old and damaged blinds. When the time came to pick up the repaired blinds, Ali, another excellent sales associate, processed the papers, and gave me an extra corner bracket and some clips. I was out of the store in no time. They send out a person to measure and he tells you to price should be the same you paid They don't call you back to tell you that it will be over $200.00 dollars more. The WORST customer service I have ever received. We ordered blinds for the entire house back in September and it is late December now and the order is still not right. It started with the designers coming to our house and they were lovely and helpful and we thought this would be a great experience. The blinds were installed maybe three weeks later and the order was incorrect in a few places (missing one blind, they ordered 2 blinds we didn't ask for, one blind wrong length) but no big deal, right? They can correct this. That was three months ago! I cannot get the designer to return my texts, calls or emails. When I try to get in touch with someone at B2G, I get crickets. I finally got a customer service manager to call me and she was great! We got someone out here to remeasure everything and he was great too. But then, radio silence. I tried calling - no one answers. I tried the chat - I got the "call your designer" and then they cut the chat off. Well guess what, my designer ignores me completely! I am so frustrated. I just want to get this resolved so we can move on. The blinds themselves are great. We are very happy with the final result but the service is terrible. read more

Everyone I had encountered in the Somerville, NJ location was very nice and extremely helpful, especially Amadu and Donovan. I've made several purchases from this location. Anytime I've had to bring a blind in for repair, it was very easy and done in a timely manner. I've previously made other purchases of another high-end brand of blinds whose warranty wasn't as good and their out-of-warranty repair prices were ridiculous. Waste of our time. We sat waiting for over a half hour and NO ONE even came over to check on us. When I finally walked over to the one person I saw, he saw me coming and turned his back to me. When I asked if he was the only one there, he said his colleague will be back soon. I asked if we could make an appointment and he said they do not take appointments. We left in disgust. Art G Somerville New Jersey We purchased quite a few custom blinds about 8 - 9 years ago and were very happy with the quality and the service. Recently, several of the cords broke from years of daily use and I stopped at the Somerville store to see what could be done. I was told to simply bring them in and they would be repaired. The service was unlike anything I've seen in many years. The blinds were completely re-strung and beautifully packed for pick-up in 2 days. Both Ariane and Donovan were friendly, very helpful and completely professional in every way. The blinds were like new and we were so happy that the following day I brought in yet another triple blind that was also a bit frayed and ready to break. Again, they were so great to deal with and this time I was able to pick it up in only 1 1/2 days. Truly amazing especially after dealing with some of the big box stores in the past when it took more than 2 days just to find someone to speak with. We are very thankful for the quality of the products but especially thankful for the service and the experience. We are loyal Blinds to Go customers and will let friends and neighbors know. The in store experience was excruciatingly slow. We were choosing blinds for my mother's new condo se we needed blinds for every room. I must have said 5 times that I was looking for black out lining for the bedrooms. By the time we chose the material, worked through all the details of measurements and pricing, I look over the final estimate and see that the bedrooms are not blackout lining, so we go through the whole order again, by changing bedrooms to black out lining. This whole process took around an hour. Installation was not any better. The installer was rude to my 80+ year old mother and told her that she would need to get rid of the garbage that he brought in from installing the blinds. Really? After all that I paid for a full condo of blinds, the service should have been better. Not worth it for the next time and I suggest you go somewhere else where they appreciate your business. read more

Shopping for blinds is not at the top of my list but this place sure made it very easy. They have a large selection & knowledgeable sales people. They display the blind you like in a lighted window so you can see the effect. You can opt to have someone come to your place to measure which is what I did so that I definitely the exact size. You are able to bring home the sample book which is awesome. Very easy to deal with and the blinds arrive so quickly! I am glad I visited this store. read more

My wife and I came here for blinds to install in the bathroom of our new home. Nisha was very patient with us, as we didn't come with any measurements or with any idea of what we really wanted. She showed us the best options for our application, and gave us a measuring guide to go home and measure correctly. Once we placed the order, the blinds came in 2 days and were all labeled for the specific room we wanted them for. The installation was very easy, and all the blinds were cut to the perfect width and length. The total price was better than a "big box" store and the quality definitely is superior. Most horrible products and even worse customer service! Our blinds never worked well from day 1 and inspire of multiple calls and requests there was no improvement. We spent over a thousand dollars and it's all a complete waste! They sent their representative to take a look and he was of absolute no help either. Donovan helped me when I stopped in looking for cellular shades. He was super helpful and patient with my zillion questions, helping me choose the Riviera blind. I absolutely love them. Tom- one of their super friendly and just all around nice-installers, came over the same day and measured and was back again by the end of the week for installation. I cant be happier with my purchase. Although they were far from cheap, the price was better than Hunter Douglas who I also priced out and the shades are beautiful, hang perfectly. I love the top down, bottom up feature I chose with the cordless option. They are easy to use and much safer with my kids. I will be back to work on another room soon. read more

We first came to this location a few years ago and decided to come back to check out window treatment options for our kitchen and master bath. We met with Ali, who was very helpful! She explained everything pretty clearly and helped price out some options. We've had 2 rooms done by them in the past and am happy with the quality of the products and the service we received. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is due to the price. They do have some decent promotions but it can be for select styles only. Be prepared to spend more than what you would going to chain home improvement stores. If you are concerned about the price, I'd recommend shopping around to compare quality and warranties on the products/mechanical parts of the products. read more

The service from the Somerville store was absolutely atrocious. I ordered blinds and it is just now two months later that they have finally been installed and are the correct length. Part of the sales pitch when I ordered was that they would be ready in two days, I understood when I finally called and got the answer that because of the pandemic they could take two weeks. I understand that but they should've called me to correct the timeframe. Way past the time frame the blinds were delivered to the store and the installer came out and installed them. He did not notice that 25 of the slats were cut a half inch longer than the rest. Trying to get that fixed was unbelievable, it took many phone calls, most of which were not returned, three trips for the installer to come out and verify the error, And several communications which were not followed through as to where the slats should be delivered. I do understand the pandemic has changed a lot of things but it has not changed the fact that a provider should communicate with the client and try to work things out and not leave them hanging for so long. read more

I think this store is FABULOUS! They have so many options for window treatments that its incredible. I needed to replace a window covering in my master bathroom. I brought in my old blind and matched it to the one I ultimately purchased. It was in within a week and I was notified via text message and E:Mail. Quality seems good, but only time will tell. Selection was good. I was able to bring home samples (if I left a deposit) My order was completed in record time! The installation was smooth - installer showed up during the appointment time. The only thing that is really difficult is "working the coupons". It seems that the coupons lure you in, and then don't exactly apply to the product you are purchasing. I'm a fairly intelligent person, but the coupons are deceptively enticing - that is, they look better than they are in reality. But overall, their price is good when compared to most others in the industry. So, the coupons don't really work when it seems they should, but the pricing is still OK. Best part- how fast the blinds were ready, and getting them installed on a Saturday in December. Worst part - not being able to apply my coupons when the advertising /coupons brought me into the store in the 1st place. read more

I went to this store and the first thing that they started saying is lifetime warranty, lifetime on cords. The products keep breaking and the "cordless" ones that they installed will not stay straight. They have "fixed" the problems. Until I go back and put them up. SAME THING!!! Worthless! I put a review up on there sight and they have to review it first before it goes up on there Web page. Their reviews are biased. I should have paid a little more and gone with a name brand. Because this Smart cell is garbage! They probably have a company to take this review down as well. Oh and I am 62 with just my wife and I using the product. It goes up and down once a day. And they say that we must be abusing the product. Only 2 month old and they have had them longer than we have. read more

Bought a door blinds set a few years ago, and it tangled; the rack was quickly replaced. Recently experienced trouble with replacing the verical slats (extra-long) because the clips in the frame broke of thbe reatining edge. The store personnell were again very helpful told me to brin back the rack as the new racki had better holding clips. The rack was replaced got it back in just a few days. Servoce was helpful, friendly, and both easy and convenient. LIke the products, service and friendly personnell. read more
