To begin with, the sales representative was punctual, knowledgeable, and thorough. He clearly explained all the window options and helped us choose the style we wanted. Unfortunately, that is where the professionalism ended. One of the most alarming issues occurred during installation: a window was either dropped or thrown from the second floor onto my front lawn, where it shattered. The crew made no attempt to clean it up. I only discovered the shards the next day while outside barefoot with my toddler. I spent hours picking up tiny pieces of glass myself. When I raised this with the project manager, he didn't apologize or show any concern--he simply offered $100 off for my "time." Beyond that, the overall project management and execution were riddled with issues. I had to review the order sheet at least ten times because the company repeatedly made mistakes--wrong quantities, wrong styles, wrong hardware. Even after all of that, the final order was still incorrect. I requested that the new windows match the existing styles (e.g., 6 over 1, 8 over 1), yet this was ignored, and we only realized the error during installation when it was too late to correct. They also installed two top sashes in one window and acted as if this was normal. Their explanation was that "owners ask for ridiculous things sometimes," so they didn't question it. This was the only window of the 18 installed incorrectly, yet I was the one who had to push to have it acknowledged. The hardware situation was equally unprofessional. They installed mismatched pieces--gold locks with nickel lifts--because the hardware we selected was "out of stock," but they never told us. When we asked for replacements, they simply handed me a catalog and told me to choose new ones, offering no guidance, even though only one alternative actually worked with the holes they had already drilled. Another major issue involved the window screens. I requested screens for all windows in the original estimate, and this was clearly documented. Despite that, no screens were installed. Their excuse was that "homeowners don't often want to open their windows." After the mistake was pointed out, they installed makeshift screens that don't fit properly and are extremely difficult to remove and replace--clearly not the correct screens for the windows we purchased. The job, which was supposed to take a few days, dragged on for weeks due to unfinished work, installation errors, and repeated reorders caused by their own mistakes. Some of the work is still unfinished. I would not recommend Ardmore Windows and Doors to anyone. Unless you want to act as your own project manager, clean up after the crew, and still end up with results that don't match what you paid tens of thousands of dollars for, look elsewhere.

We love our new blinds from Garden State Blinds! They look really nice and were a reasonable price…read morefor the quality. We did three sets of windows and also a slider for the patio door. For two of the windows, we did the faux wood slated blinds, which is style we were familiar with. For our bedroom window, we tried something new, which is the honeycomb cell shade that blocks light and that can be slid from the top down or the bottom up. This is a wonderful feature for the bedroom so that we get the privacy of the lower part of the window being covered, but we're able to let in light and look outside through the top part. Something that really made this company easy to work with is that all the people I interacted with were amazingly accommodating and helpful. Starting with Vito Conforti, the president, and then his son Andrew, who came to our house for the initial consultation and showed me all the different samples and help me pick colors and styles. All the people who answered the phone and did scheduling and answered my questions were polite and helpful and quick to respond. The installer Zach was an impressive young man who worked through a challenging install situation. We had just moved in and a lot of our furniture and boxes were blocking access to the windows and Zach very kindly moved things for me and even help me break down boxes for recycling and stack them up. That is going above and beyond what he came here to do and I really appreciated his help and good attitude. Additionally, they gave us a tin of Dutch shortbread cookies which are my favorite. It's so refreshing do business with an independent family owned company. Everyone here puts all their heart into what they do and this really sets them apart from chain and franchise businesses. If you want blinds for your windows, come here, and I guarantee you will be very happy that you did.

This guy damaged my patio door when I availed his service to replace my patio door glass. After the…read moredoor glass was replaced, door has become very tight to close. When contacted, he responded by saying we cannot compress the wood attached to the door the same way as it was and you need to get the wood around the glass trimmed in order to move the door freely and something he will not fix it. After a few days we noticed, it started leaking inside and ruined all the door wood. First he was not agreeing and after sending him photos, he came to re-seal it. It started leaking again afterwards from some other side. This time, he is not responding well and asking me to send him a reminder on certain days. I contacted him but all in vain. He is not showing up and when I asked if I am going to file a complaint, he immediately responded that he has some personal issues due to which he cannot come and responded arrogantly that if I want I can go ahead and file a complaint and he has the best lawyers and he will win(attached his text screenshots). Also he mentioned he so many open cases where companies have not paid him and those cases are pending for years. It's been more than a month now since I last contacted him and still no response.
