From my ebay purchases history: 1919 D, Buffalo Nickel AU (281096684350) $305 schofieldcoinandhobby | 3373 | 99.9% Sale date: 10/05/13 I then emailed them through the ebay internal email function on January 23rd, 2014 with the following note: Dear schofieldcoinandhobby, Hi: Regarding the 1919-D Buffalo you sold me (lot 281096684350) I wanted to thank you so sincerely for selling me a Chinese counterfeit for $300+. - shermae So I discovered the swindle less than 3 months after our transaction, NOT "more than 6 months." You're just flat out lying. And did I receive a message back? NO- they ignored all my messages. So no attempt has ever been made to mitigate the sale of the forgery to me. E.g.- the seller is happy selling counterfeits and rather than trying to make things right by the victim, they ignore all communications and hide behind the relative anonymity of the internet. Lastly- it is not libel when the individual speaks the truth. So if you'd like to vet your claims about libel, I would adore the opportunity to demonstrate how you sold me a counterfeit instead of a real coin. Bob- you've had MONTHS to try and make this right, but you haven't lifted a finger. You don't respond to communications. I've been deceived and swindled by you. Isn't that dishonest and unethical by any measure?

A "bonus" of this place is it is located to a handy map of the downtown area and neat photo ops like the red London Telephone booth at the end of the block. The lady warned us that it might take a while because of the way the manufacturer does things. Summer turned to fall; fall to winter (which is awfully long here in Wisconsin but I digress). I called them because they couldn't pick up the phone and call me. I called twice and was told by a woman that it was on order. I asked when to expect it and was assured that it would be in about Mothers Day. Winter turned to spring (finally) and spring was in full force late in May. But I waited into June. I called twice and twice was told by a young woman that she would give the message to Al (the big cheese there). She said she would call back. Needless to say Al never called back. I decided to go in there, cancel my order and use my gift certificate for something else. I decided not to be angry. I told him that my calls hadn't been returned. He knew my name and so knew the situation. Despite all this there was not one single word that indicated remorse or an apology! If you go there never order something. Go to Home Depot where they deliver on their promises to order stuff. My old review: A plethora of plants, lawn ornaments, knick-knacks, lawn furniture packed into a relatively small location! They have a wide variety of stuff: kitsch to somewhat elegant. Fun to browse and check things out. The hired staff is friendly and helpful but stressed: I've been in there a number of times when there is a wait to get a staff member to help. For certain requests they seem to be required to talk to the owner, Al. Their plants look to be very well taken care of. Their parking lot is smallish.

Their staff is knowledgable and friendly, albeit sparse. You do have to seek them out, but when you find them, they are good. The best by far is Al, I'm assuming that he is the owner. He is tremendous and will take all the time you need to walk the grounds and help you pick out just the right solution for your needs. All of the local landscape designers direct their clients here - enough said. If you show up on a Saturday, expect to wait for assistance. The place is often packed, especially in spring and early summer. The quality of their trees, shrubs, and other plantings is tremendous. I don't really focus on price, as landscaping for me is a long term investment, so I don't know how they compare here. They have the largest selection in the area. If you have a specific need that they don't stock, they usually can get it ordered and delivered within a week or two. I have done this a number of times, all with good success. I have used them for four phases of our home landscape design, done professionally by Susie Murphy of Landscape Solutions (recommended). We started in 2008 and will finish in 2013. Window Box quality has remained strong during this time. If you prefer searching through the parking lot nurseries of Menards, Home Depot, Walmart, etc. then please stay there. It will help keep the crowds down here.

I have been going to them over the last year for all of my flower needs, (birthdays, Mother's Day, and much more).
