We stopped by Bling Nail on our recent trip to flushing and would highly recommend! They are located on the second floor and the entrance is very unassuming. However once you get up the stairs it's a very airy, clean and well decorated studio. This is predominantly a Chinese location but all the nail techs speak English. They have a massive selection of nail polishes including some really nice jelly and transparent ones from Asia. Pricing is fairly reasonable. They are $20 for a regular mani and $40 for gel. Their skill is immaculate and everyone in my parent came out loving their nails. They were able to squeeze us in for walk in but were pretty busy. Would recommend an appointment. read more

I've been to places where they've done it for my small nails but the lady here said my nails were too short and can't do it .anyway she gave it a try and i was extremely grateful for that . I don't understand why this place doesn't have more amazing reviews. I've been going to them for a few months now and I will never trust another nail salon. Their nail technicians are top notch, I highly recommend Summer or Fiona! I just show them an inspo picture and they can recreate it perfectly. The price is worth it considering I can usually make a mani last for 1-2 months without chipping!!! I am mind blown every time. My friends constantly compliment my nails. I think Bling Nail uses some sort of nail hardener to help strengthen my natural nails. I never have to use acrylic, they keep my nails nice and healthy. There was one time, I broke a nail and Summer was able to glue and fix it so I could continue using my natural nails instead of opting for acrylic which is my preference. I am really pleased with this place. My mom has been coming here for a few months to do her SNS mani and recommended it to me. I went for a gel pedi and the facility was gorgeous and super clean. Not too many gel colors were available in the $50 pedi price, but there were many that cost extra money. Otherwise the girl was thorough and efficient. Brand new, newly renovated location. Didn't move far, about a block but definitely a much better location and much bigger space. Much more airy and much better air quality than the mall location. Came for a spa pedicure with my friend who has a package. The location is on the second floor. It's located right next to Play date. You walk up the stairs and the new nail salon is very bright with a lot of windows. Less cramped than the old place which was always limited cause of the small space. The owner combined her two businesses of the nail salon and the lash service together. Totally smart move on her part as now they can accommodate more customers. The pedicure area is more like a sofa bench area with foot basins. Somehow the floor around the basins were all wet. There was some leak probably from the side but they couldn't figure out from where. I also actually prefer the old chairs they had with the recline and the massage. Much more comfortable For me as I prefer the recline. They said they chose this design for the aesthetic value. Each seat had a big pillow you would lean on. I didn't find it very comfortable. I wanted to remove the pillow but then I was way too far from the nail tech as the seats are very deep. So the $65 spa organic pedicure includes smashed crystals (which feels like jelly), mask, 20 minute massage, callus removal, paraffin, and steam machine with oil (they no longer have the steam but still in menu and the paraffin machine was heated up so skipped that part as well but they said they would make it up next time). I kind of knew from the start that my nail tech was not suitable for me. The water was cold. She was pulling so hard and cutting so hard that I knew she was going to cut one of my toes and she did. Side of my middle toe nail was bleeding. She did the foot massage very half heartedly and I heard her complaining to the other nail tech about the 20 min time. She was also very easily distracted by any conversation that would be going on nearby and would stop the massage to listen. I can actually see my old nail polish color coming through my new orange color one. Asked her and she said she couldn't get the color off and since the new color is lighter, that's how it will be. She probably could have just buffed the other color out. I've tried other techs there before and they have all been fine. If you buy a package you can save some money. The package my friend bought was for $600 and you get $130 extra. So my $65 pedicure ended up around $53. read more

My usual nail tech had a last minute emergency so I wasn't able to get a fill in from her so I called this place as her reference. I called them yesterday and was able to have me come in today. I had apres gel extension and they had to soak them off and do a full set. Full set with matte color was $100. Bit pricey but came out really nice. She even told me if I want a fill in for these in couple weeks it'll be $50 including gel color. If it's over 2 weeks then it'll be a full set. I'll definitely keep this place in mind as a backup but the price is a bit high! read more

I am a flight attendant and I stayed at a hotel near to this nail salon. My coworker and I read the reviews and they were mostly positive. The receptionist asked us what we wanted done and I replied a gel manicure. She told me it would be $40 for the gel and $10 to remove the dip powder from my nails. This is an Asian populated area and I think a black woman walking in is maybe rare but I felt so unwelcome. For some reason I wasn't offered the other types of gel that they have which are more expensive. Not sure if they thought I couldn't afford it. The manicurist was very cold with me almost looked angry at times because I was looking at my nails to make sure I liked them. Being nice transcends language. I gave her $10 tip because she did her job but I would have given her more had she been nicer, more cordial. read more

I asked for extensions and had a specific type of design I wanted and she was able to help me complete it 100%! I love my nails and the details are very intricate. I went to this place because the designs on their page looked really nice. I guess I should of done my research. I was charged $315 for spa pedicure (barely got scrubbed) and press ons. This girl in the front is rude and has no customer service skills. When I asked the tech if she could do the design she had to go ask the front desk girl and she came to me asking what's the problem. I got a dip powder manicure and, while the staff was very friendly and the facility was super nice, the manicure itself wasn't great :( The dip powder container was BIG and had to have been used for multiple manicures, which is very unsanitary (look it up!). The nail tech left a lot of gross dip residue under my nails, which I had to clear out myself once I got home. Also, just one day after my manicure, the polish on my little finger cracked completely, and now, four days out, one of my fingers is already chipped. Disappointing. read more

Honestly this was one of my favorite places to go to for nails, and it makes me sad that I'm posting this review because it was becoming my to-go place. I live in Manhattan but my bf and I drive out to get my nails done here in Flushing every 2-3 weeks for the last 3 months. I came today to get my nails done. It's Saturday and it was busy... I waited almost an hour to get an appointment even though the owner said 30 minutes. Fine, wasn't too bothered by the wait. When I get to the station, the nail technician crudely uses the dremel tool to get rid of the outer layer (since I had a gel mani from before). They seemed really annoyed that I had a gel mani on before, but didn't bother asking the state of my nails when I came in to say I wanted a gel mani. 15 minutes after my nail tech started working on my nails, the owner kept rushing my nail tech, telling her that her next appointment was here. She didn't really spend time on my cuticles, cut it really crudely even though I told her in Chinese that I have a habit in picking my cuticles & really wanted clean cuticles! After she filed my nails down, she didn't even bother to get rid of all the nail particles. Just started to paint them! :( If you look at the finished results, I think some of the nail particles got stuck underneath because the texture is kind of bumpy. If you look at the pictures I posted, you could see that my cuticles looked even worse than what it was when I came in. In addition, there's dried gel paint on the sides and underneath my nail. I'll probably have to get my nails done again somewhere else this week. I understand that Saturday is a busy day for girls to get their nails done, but as a paying customer, I think I deserve better nail treatment than that. :( Only giving 2 stars, because I use to really like this place. I love Bling Nail! I went here with my friend who'd gone here before and I'm so glad I did! We asked the lady at the front how much specific designs would come out to based on photo references we had and we waited for just a bit before an artist was available to do our nails. I got a gel manicure with designs on two fingers and two different gel colors and it came out to $45 which is a steal in my opinion! The artist was very patient and detailed. Came here Sunday afternoon to get a gel manicure since I happened to be in New World Mall area and also had a wedding to go to the next day. Most nail salons are closed on Sundays. One thing you can count on with Chinese ones are that they are pretty much guaranteed to be opened no matter if it's a Sunday or a holiday (unless it's Lunar New Year of course). Walked in and was told by front desk that it'd be a 10 minute wait..I waited a full hour. No wait if I had wanted to do a pedicure. Pretty sure I was forgotten about since one of the nail technicians asked these 2 girls to choose their colors when they walked in and said they wanted to do manis. If I didn't understand Mandarin and say something to her, not sure when I would have finally gotten my nails done. If not for the nail technician that acknowledged me and did my nails, I'd give this place 1 star. Important to note that this place charges extra to remove polish! Also, apparently you're given an iPad to look through if you want to do designs? Would have been nice if I was offered the option. Since I sat there for a good hour, I can tell you that they have tiny sofas in one corner for you to wait. Can seat four if they bothered to remove the giant plant. Otherwise three max. Interior is white and relatively clean. They have snacks for children apparently. They had a flatscreen showing some Asian concert when I was there..can't say it's my fave music to listen to when I'm getting my nails done (not relaxing at all). Can't be helped in this area I guess? First and likely the last manicure I'll get in Flushing. Overall, wasn't impressed with this place. I was just at Enjoy Nail Spa III only a couple of weeks ago, so imagine my surprise when I saw Bling Nail in its place! The new business looks very clean and sleek, making the ambiance welcoming. I came in for a manicure ($10), and the service was pretty quick. There are about 6 seats for the manicure, 4 seats for the pedicure, and 3 seats for the drying station. For fun gel designs, there's an iPad to scroll through for inspiration. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. I think because this just opened, I was able to get a free 10 minute massage while waiting for my nails to dry, and a goodie bag with a rosewater hand cream! Before walking out, they also use the nail enamel spray, so I appreciated that. Because of that free 10 minute massage, though, I am definitely looking forward to booking future massage appointments! Everyone inside was very welcoming and I can't wait to come back again. The only downsides are that there is no discount for a mani/pedi ($30) and the prices are a bit higher than its competitors in Flushing, Queens. And yes, the employees speak English. read more

My nails are very thin like paper, I don't like it they are using filing machine on my nails. I really feel the heat on my nails. Then she told me to relax, forcefully moving my hands up and down.
