I've been to my fair share of threading places, and Blink Beauties is one of the best. The place itself is a drive for me, but I do it because my brows look fantastic every time. At other places I have to specify that I want to leave my brows as thick as humanly possible, but the girl I normally go to (I am the WORST and don't know her name) just knew. The place is insanely clean and clearly cared for. The service I have received is beyond excellent- normally in and out in less than 10 minutes. Yes, even when my brows are atrocious. Generally I have an ok experience, its a good location with decent prices. However, I went in Tuesday to get my brows waxed and I dont think I will be going back. I was wondering why it hurt so bad and the following day I figured it out when I saw the marks on my eyelids. Apparently the wax was too hot and ripped some of my eyelid skin off. That was bad enough but when I went in to show them what happened they apologized but refused to give me a refund. Not only did it hurt but I looked like a goof in meetings for the rest of the week. The least they could have done was try to make things right. Its too bad because the people there seem nice but if you're not going to take care of your customers and remedy mistakes I do not want to go back. The first time I went here to get my brows threaded and tinted, the woman did a wonderful job. I went in again for the same thing, and it was a different person working (theres always only 1 person working there), and my brows look massacred!! I'm not picky, but I HAVE to post about this experience. I know my brows are light and not thick, that's why I get them tinted, but she made the color soo uneven, all over my skin. But I think the worst part is that the brow shape is unbelievably uneven, and there is still so much hair left, and also a chunk out of one of them. BEWARE these people are NOT LICENSED to wax. I went for a Brazilian and it was the most painful experience I've ever had. I've been getting Brazilian waxes regularly for over 15 years. She pulled in the wrong direction several times, used a soft wax in areas that should have been a hard wax, reused the same strip over and over and over which not only didn't remove the hair causing her to re-wax the same area multiple times, tearing my skin. I left bruised and with patches of hair still there. I asked her repeatedly to clean up the stray hairs that I was able to see, and she acted as if she couldn't see them. I went in approximately 5 hours ago and I am still in pain. She even told me I had to pay an additional $5 for her to remove the hair on my bikini line, where your underwear hits; saying that the price for the Brazilian doesn't include removal of hair on the bikini line ‍. In addition to that, as I came in, there was a woman leaving who had just gotten eyelashes installed. Since I regularly get this done at another location, I asked her to see them up close. They looked horrible. I couldn't hide my eyes widening in shock when I saw the amount of glue all over this poor woman's lashes. There were clumps of black glue everywhere. I really hope she gets them fixed before showing anyone else read more

I started going here when they first opened and loved it. The last couple of visits were disappointing. The young lady that first opened the shop is never there anymore and I miss her. I went the day they reopened from Covid. On FB they said they would only do waxing. No threading which makes sense b/c the thread is held by the mouth. I had an appointment and the place was empty but my service was rushed and not good. The woman working did start to take off her mask to do threading. I stopped her. I had my brows and chin done. Both were done without any effort or care. She didn't even shape or trim my brows or do all of my chin. When I got back to car my hair was stuck to wax no removed and I could see so many hairs still on brows and chin. read more

UPDATE: see below for original post. I woke up this morning with burns and i called to speak with the manager to get a refund. The lady told me the manager was out of town. So i told her what happened and she said "you can come in today and we can take a look and fix it" i said HUH? Fix what??? Its already been done. I just want my refund because i am unsatisfied with the service. Then she said "well we need to take a look first and if the burns are there THEN we will give the refund" um excuse me?? Ive gotten a brazilian done numerous times and this is the first time this has happened to me. I dont understand why they need to "look" in order for me to get a refund. I will be contacting the business bureau. Don't come here for a wax. 12/4/19 - ZERO STARS I came here solely cus of the reviews but i Must've came here on the wrong day. First time here got a Brazilian and eye brow threading service. She was very rough doing my brazilian and she missed a lot of hair. I had to ask her to do it again. I don't think she wouldve had to do it again if she took her time and actually saw where the hair was (sorry TMI). And on top of that the wax was way too hot. I got burned. I literally told her"ow its burning its burning". The top pelvic area was burning so bad afterwards. And she literally left me with wax all over. Didn't offer me any oil or anything I had to ASK HER. When it was time to do my eyebrows she was pushing the thread so hard against my skin. My whole experience was just uneasy and rough. After the salon I got my Brazilian waxes closed down, I was on the search for a new place. A few months ago I went to a salon that came recommended and it turned out to be a nightmare. Long story short I was left burnt and trust me ladies you do NOT want to get burnt anywhere, especially there. It took a long time for me to heal and also be brave enough to try another new place. Blink Beauties popped up on Groupon and after looking at their reviews I decided to be brave and give them a try. Well, let me tell you: I have found my new waxing place! I can honestly say that this was the most painless Brazilian wax I have ever had. Of course there was pain, no way to avoid it completely, but it was not nearly as bad as my past ones. Sadly I forgot to get the name of the woman who did my wax but she was very nice and kept saying "I don't want to hurt you" because i told her what I went through and she said that if I needed a break to let her know and she would stop for awhile. She was so sweet , would ask me if I was doing ok and made the experience as pleasant as it could possibly be. The salon itself is extremely clean and a has very relaxing atmosphere. I actually plan on making this my regular place for not only my waxings but also my eyebrow threadings. The prices are also VERY reasonable and they run a lot of good deals. I've been hesitant the last few weeks to post this. That's how much I really wanted to like this place. The young lady at the desk was so pleasant and seemed like she knew what she was doing. Let me start by saying the inside is IMMACULATE. I mean absolutely clean and spotless. So beautiful and serene inside! I got my eyelashes and brows done very frequently. However, knowing this place was new I wanted to try them out. The young lady gave me a great walk through of her lashes and product. I should have ran when she said it'd take 10 minutes. But I was short on time so I figured what's the worst that could happen. She pulled out hair extension glue. Oooookay, sure. But then she had me keep my eyes open. The most uncomfortable thing and the glue burned my eyes. They eyelashes were placed directly on my real lashes so it weighed them down and looked very clumpy. Not only that, they were supposed to last for weeks and every single one came off within days. Not even a week. Would definitely not recommend for a $45 dollar eye lash job or whatever. And then, we decided on the eyebrow threading. Not bad for $8 however, within 2 days, my brows were all cut up and there was an insane amount of scratching and scarring on both. Maybe if you're in a financial pinch or need something quick, this may be the place for you. But I will not be returning. 2 stars for the service and cleanliness. read more

BEWARE: DO NOT GET LASH EXTENSIONS HERE. I just had to pay another salon to take OFF the horrific lashes this place put on because they refused to remove them after they did terrible work! They have no idea how to properly apply lashes and I was in terrible pain from them gluing the lashes to my SKIN (wrong), clumping together individual lashes (wrong), and gluing my bottom lashes to the top ones (WRONG!) They do not follow proper procedure - they just sit you in an eyebrow threading chair and start throwing lashes on you -- no separating the lashes, no taping down your bottom lash -- they have no business doing this. I tried everything under the sun to remove them at home and they wouldn't budge, and after the salon owner refused to even TRY to remove them, I went to another esthetician who said they had done such a bad job that I was destined for an eye infection!!! It took her over an hour to remove the lashes with the strongest adhesive remover they make and she didn't even want to charge me because she felt so bad about what Blink Beauties had done to my eyes. I had a great experience the first time I went. My brow threading, tint and cluster lashes were amazing. The second time I went my eyebrows were two different shapes and the left one had a large portion missing in the middle. The third (and will be my final time) she did full cluster lashes and they turned out horrible. Placed only in the middle so the inside and outside of my lashes look like they are missing. If I could I would not give any stars at all I called in the number before buying the groupon and the young lady on the phone tells me not to buy Groupon as she will honor the same price as Groupon I was tempted I said let me check when can I come I called back to make an appointment and she tells me let me call you back I am with a customer right now week goes by she doesn't call never mind I have already got the Groupon so low and behold I call to make an appointment over two weeks in advance and she doesn't have any availabllity I asked for than she has one on which she tells me I am gonna put you down 15 mins prior to what you asked for just in case you have a lot of hair( nobody is getting waxed if they are hairless like baby's bottom) that's just plain rude. And than when I asked her is there a window of few mins just in case I am stuck in the traffic keep in mind I asked for that time so I am off work and there in time. She went balsatic and tells me "I don't know what's your problem is" i mean who talks like that on the phone and than she ask if I am making an appointment I wouldn't go to a place where they don't respect you as a customer and have no basic etiquette.
