Joy is seriously THE BEST!!! Her attention to detail is so on point and she doesn't mind spending the time to get your brows and lashes done right. I got my eyebrows tattoo with henna ink (I think that's what it's called) and my short Asian eyelashes lifted when I first started going to Joy about 4 months ago. My lashes stay lifted for more than 2 months, then I changed my mind and wanted to do extensions. She took the time to straighten my curled lashes to prep for the extensions. Joy was the first and only person I had my lashes done since day 1. Literally, day 1, i meant i never gotten lashes done by anyone before her and I would never done with someone else in future unless if I no longer live in her area haha. I waited way too long to write this review but I just wanted to make sure I really loved my lashes.. and I did. This Friday will be a whole month since I got my lash lift and I couldn't be happier. I was looking around for a place that was affordable and nearby and I'm so happy I found this place. I was greeted by Joy(owner) at the front door and she is the nicest person ever. She made me feel very comfortable and explained to me how the whole process worked before she even started. I was able to ask her all the questions I had and after that she had me lay down with a comfy pillow and the softest blanket( it was pretty cold out) and it was so hard not to fall asleep I was so comfortable. I didn't feel anything throughout the whole process ,the whole experience was just really nice. I asked for my lashes to be extra curly and it's been so easy to get ready in the mornings! When I apply mascara , it looks like I'm wearing eyelash extensions, it's so weird lol. I plan on coming back when my lashes come down, which she said normally takes about a month but they're still holding up really nicely =). I have the most stubborn straight lashes and it can get pretty annoying when trying to curl them , I would always lose the curl within ten minutes of me doing them. This place deserves all the stars and more. Not only that, but Joy went out of her way to text me and ask me if I was still happy with them, going above and beyond means everything in a business and I know Joy will succeed and much more. =) read more

I got my lashes done with Joy today for my Euro trip tomorrow. Her studio is really cute and very cozy. Her bed is also very comfortable. I fell asleep before she even started doing my lashes. She also asked what I wanted, and I'm quite indecisive, so she gave suggestions on what would look good on my eyes, and I love how she really listened to what I wanted done. She also made sure that I requested was what I wanted by showing me the different lengths/curls that I can get. I've never had that with any of my lash artists. Joy is your girl for all of your lash needs. I had never gotten my lashes done before coming to her, and let me tell ya... I was all sorts of anxious thinking about how I'd wash my face, shower, or whatever questions popped into my head. She walked me through her process and was very thorough on how to care for them. I legitimately fell asleep the last time I did my lashes and she kept trudging through while i snored away. My lashes are usually for 2.5-3 weeks before I refill them, but it definitely depends on how oily you are, your regular activities, how well you care for your lashes, etc. read more

My sister's friend went to Joy and I saw how pretty her eyelashes were and saw that she has a promotion going on so I sought the opportunity. - This is for an eyebrow wax review. Joy is SUPER easy to get in contact with and is very easy going with scheduling. I am super picky with my eyebrows as my eyebrows are a challenge.
