I've gone to this place plenty of times since they first opened, and they were always so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Lately, though, the customer service has definitely changed. I've had a few experiences where things felt a little rough, but I continued coming back because I believe one bad experience doesn't outweigh all the good ones. However, my most recent experience was disappointing. They didn't even try to clean the leftover eyebrow hairs off my face--I stood up and had them all over my face. It's the little things that make a difference, and unfortunately, I don't feel like they put in the same effort they used to. Super quick service and friendly staff. I always come here to get my eyebrows threaded because they take walk ins and there is no wait even though they always have customers in with them. They are very receptive to your requests - I asked them to make my eyebrows thinner with a slight arch and they did just that. It's about $12 to get your brows threaded. After you get your eyebrows done they'll ask if you'd like aloe Vera gel to help with any redness/ irritation from the threading. My skin can be sensitive so I tend to be hesitant with any new products on my skin and luckily it didn't irritate or break my skin out. Nice place! read more

This place is not the same anymore.. left today and the last two times sad on how my eyebrows came out.

This review is for eyebrow tinting: DO NOT use Sarita! (I think that's her name, she's the 3rd chair or the chair to the right of Uma who is 2nd chair) I've never done eyebrow tinting but my brows are pretty sparse and I always have to use a pencil on them to fill in gaps. I stupidly thought eyebrow tinting would do what my pencil does so I thought why not give it a try. Sarita was available so ok I'll let her know it's my first time and ask her questions. My first red flag (that I ignored) was when I asked her if there's samples or pics of eyebrow tinting of other clients she can show me so I can get an idea of what the outcome might look like. She acted like she didn't understand me. During the whole procedure I felt uneasy. Then she hands me a mirror and tells me I'm done. I could not believe what I saw. I looked ridiculous. Eyebrows were mega thick and square AND uneven! Sarita kept denying that it was uneven, saying that that's how my eyebrows naturally grew. Seriously?! Uma and another lady both tried to fix it but it was atrocious. My only fate was that the ink would fade in about a week. So take my advice and steer clear of Sarita. She is incompetent. I wouldn't even trust her for threading either. Zero stars! read more

Came in on a Friday afternoon and there was two girls working. One client in the chair and other worker was free. There was a client waiting. I signed in and sat in the 2nd chair. The worker started working on my eyebrows. I asked for just a clean up and not to trim or shape my brows as they are laminated. She didn't listen. She made my eyebrows uneven and even took skin off. She kept breaking the thread. At the end of it she charged me $14 and said there was a .50 cent up charge. I paid cash. I asked her name as she handed me a punch card. When you come in you sign your name on their clipboard and what type of service you want. This place seems popular. I waited for about 10 minutes. This is my first time getting my eyebrows threaded ever so I looked up a few places and decided to come here because of the price. It's 6.99 for eyebrows but CHECK IN ON YELP! Saves you one dollar haha so I paid 6$ for the service and then tip. Chuna was nice she asked me if I was okay during the process and made me feel comfortable. She's really quick, you can look at it as a positive or negative thing. She did take a few pauses to check my brows and fixed them each time. I wanted my brows just cleaned up and to keep my shape but it felt like I had two bushes or something LOL. I think threading is more tolerable than plucking so it want that bad or painful. At the end she asked if I wanted lotion and gave me an eyebrow massage. I'm not sure if they do it at other places but thank god because My skin usually turns a bit pink after waxing and plucking. She managed to shape my brows really well because I messed up plucking and lost the end of my brow haha. But I think they're also thinner and a bit uneven. Which is why I gave a 4/5. They also have a stamp card which is nice guess I'll be coming here again whenever that is haha. I even saw a male customer come here to get his brows cleaned up. "UK" and "Choona(?)" are wonderful!! It's been so long since I've been here, but I was visiting my family and decided that my brows needed some maintenance. I came in on a Thursday afternoon - no wait (and then within 15 minutes there was a big line! Ha! Woody Allen once said that you don't have to worry about civilization that's thousands of years ahead of you. You just have to worry about the people that's 15 MINUTES ahead of you because they're the ones that's going to take the last parking space, the last piece of the dessert etc.) Anyway, UK was very meticulous with my brows after she had threaded my brows I inspected her work and decided that I was going to get them tinted as well. I opted to go with the light brown. I did not know this offered this service until today when I had came in and signed in and saw that the last person was there for a Brazillian. I asked about it and they said they could take me for that as well. Choona was super fast with the Brazillian which was great! It's honey wax as oppose to hard wax for those who are curious. The best part was that the total for threading, tinting and waxing was just $47 before tip! Great deal!! "UK" only works Fridays and Saturdays but this is before Christmas so she was asked to come in. I lucked out. Happy Yelping!! read more

This is a great little gem down the street from my house, they ladies there are always supper attentive when it comes to hair removal, and they do not give attitude when you ask to have something fixed or trimmed a little more. I needed a quick threading service and found this little gem. I called to confirm if they accepted walk-ins. The customer service was already at a satisfactory level for me, very friendly. When I got there, I had to sign in with my name, first visit or not, and type of service. It was only 2 min waiting in the waiting area. By reading the positive reviews about Chuna, I was hoping that she would be assigned to me. Lucky me, she was. She is calm, friendly and repeated what I wanted as confirmation. Chairs are very far apart. They require you to sanitize your hand before they start and they use a mask. They don't thread with their mouth anymore they use something around their neck. Overall I would highly recommend only 7 dollars with the 1 dollar off Yelp check in! read more

*********UPDATE********** I came here like I normally do, and I'm not sure if I jinxed it, but the first time I've left and have been disappointed :( they completely threaded off half of my eyebrow. I'm so sad because I've loved coming here. Might be time to look for a different place :( I've come here at least 10 or more times and have loved every visit. I love that I can walk in and usually get seated immediately- I've never had to wait more than 5 min. The threading itself has never been more then 10 min, so it's a very quick visit. I've had all the ladies thread my brows, and each one is friendly and does a great job- I've never noticed one doing a better job than the rest which makes it easier to be seen by anyone. I use to be a religious waxer, which did the job but was painful and awful to my sensitive skin. Threading is so much better in my opinion even though it still is pretty painful. Just something to note- an eyebrow thread is 6.99 and if you use card, they charge .50 cents to every dollar under $10. If you round up and tip them $3 then you're not charged the .50 cent fee (which is a smart way to get a good tip) I personally feel they deserve the tip anyways so I don't have a problem doing that.
