Kimmy is patient enough to not rush through, make sure your lashes are the shape you want and they last more than a week! In a city like Hoboken where there are so many salons, they are so worried about rushing through appointments to take people in, but then you have to go in again 3 days later because the lashes all fell and they have the balls to charge you to fix it when they rushed through. Not with kimmy! My lashes averagely last 3 weeks for the volume I request at, and that's including working out 3 times a week and practicing a normal facial wash routine. Kimmy takes great pride in her work and she's truly talented! I highly recommend her to get all your lash needs with her because her work is truly quality! Also she does pretty amazing nail art!

I would honestly just chicken out. I ended up having my microblading session with Yolanda and it was honestly such a great experience. She thoroughly explained everything throughout the ENTIRE process, which I appreciated since I was a first-timer and was completely new to this. She also made sure I wasn't uncomfortable or in pain, which I really appreciated. Yolanda is also so easy to get along with and talk to, and is clearly very skilled at everything she does. Her knowledge of all of her services gave me such peace of mind. I actually ended up also doing the lash lift + tint with David, who was SO lovely, and also so meticulous about perfecting his skill (as was Yolanda). I was so happy with my results I even booked for two additional services this weekend. My mom was so impressed with the microblading that she actually requested I book her an appointment with Yolanda as well (which I did!). Highly, highly recommend!

I visited Mystique 2 while in town for a wedding and booked a wash and blow-dry for myself and my…read moredaughter. Unfortunately, both experiences were extremely disappointing. I've had my hair washed and styled professionally for many years, and the service we received here was simply not up to standard. I was charged extra for the hair wash, which I found surprising as this is normally included in a wash and blow-dry. On another occasion, at a salon next door, we received the same service without an additional wash charge. My daughter was also asked to comb her own hair because it was tangled, while the stylist repeatedly commented on her hair and the overall approach felt very unprofessional. My own hair was even more disappointing. I specifically asked for some volume, and a powder was applied which left my hair and scalp looking completely white. I was attending a wedding and, throughout the event, people were asking me why my hair looked white. It was extremely embarrassing. The final bill was also far higher than expected. We paid $195 for two wash and blow-drys whereas another salon charged us $133 for essentially the same service. I also found the card/convenience charges excessive. Overall, I would not recommend Mystique 2 for hair services or beauty treatments based on my experience. Perhaps they are better known for threading and waxing, but I would personally avoid having your hair done here. Very disappointing, especially when visiting for an important occasion and expecting a simple, professional wash and blow-dry.
