As a regular loyal customer for over 2 years they have become severely inflexible in their policies and unwilling to consider a more customer centric approach which would help this business and client experience overall instead of making it feel like an 'eyelash factory'. I have personally suggested constructive ideas directly with the owner and managers to improve their business based on experiences I have had and feedback of friends I have referred here and they ignore it. This is an update for my lash refill after about two weeks and a half. I went in during the snow storm to get my lashes refilled I got there on time but the staff didn't introduce their selfs and they weren't busy at all. They didn't look happy to be working during the snow I guess. They didn't ask me if I wanted the same style as before or anything... I believe my technicians name was Rihanna she asked me to lay on the bed and quickly started putting some weird smelling liquid on my lashes. The process took about an hour but I still belt like one eye had more lashes than the other just like before maybe I have more lashes on one eye idk but It felt like she was sowing something to my lash line which was a little painful I was going to ask her to just remove them because I didn't like the feeling but I went through the process. Later that day my eyes felt heavy and irritated and which I had to take a long nap to see if my eyes were better when I woke up. They are very demanding when it comes to tipping which is annoying cause I always give decent tip but when you are asked it gets on my nerves. Anyways it's been two days with the refill and I notice lashes falling off more compared to when Claire did my lashes. Im not sure if I'm going to get another refill after this... maybe depending on how long these last. Wish they were as sweet as they were the first time I came to this place. I got my eyelash extensions eight days ago and they still look good. However one eye looked like it had less eyelashes then the other and the guy at the front desk kinda rushed my tech to finish because they had three other girls waiting after me. I've been to this salon three times for eyelash extensions/touch up. I purchased a Groupon and I fell inlove with this place. They do a great job with lashes. I received many compliments from friends, family, and co workers. I even referred three of my friends there. I travel an hour to get my lashes done there, so says a lot. This place is amazing, it's very clean. Only issue was that the first glue they were using for my lashes were burning my eyes for weeks. However I did tell them about this and they used a different glue which no longer burns my eyes. The lashes tend to fall out after a week or so. But not to the point where you will notice. I shed about 6-10 lashes a week... Perhaps a little more. The only thing I don't like about this place is the aggressiveness when it comes to tipping. If you don't leave a generous tip, they tend to look at you a certain way or remind you that tip is required. The first time I tip and the girl didn't even say thank you. If you get your lashes done here, you will not be disappointed. Ask for Lee. She does an amazing job. They have amazing customer service and does everything to satisfy their customers. I rated this place 3 stars because I don't like to be told to tip, and the bad attitude I get if I don't tip 15/20%. And the issue with the glue. Your results are based on who does your lashes. I came here on a Thursday afternoon to do my lashes. It took about 40 minutes and when I was done I was having trouble opening my eye as the woman who attended me had glued the extension on top of my eye in a way that left my natural lash hanging down and crowding my eyesight. It took us about twenty minutes to figure that situation out. I also thought the extensions were going to be individuals but I have discovered as they have been gradually falling out they are clusters, three lashes into one. Not my first time getting my lashes done.. But my first time coming here and definitely not my last! I finally found my go to lash salon! The techs are great, and they are so helpful! My lashes are naturally long and pretty thick, but I wanted a bit more to accentuate what I've got, and Mimo definitely delivered. I no longer wear eye liner, or mascara and waking up with beautiful lashes has definitely lessened my makeup time in front of a mirror. Highly recommend this salon if you're in town! read more

Would never recommend this place to anyone. I went twice to get my eye-lashes soaked off, they made a mistake the first time and re-filled them and charged me the full $50 price. I went back a second time and made sure multiple times to tell the technician & Owner that I want my lashes soaked off. They said okay we will take them off, and then ended up refilling again. I let them know I was not happy and the owner was disrespectful, did not apologize when I said I refuse to pay the full price for their mistake. I had one bad experience (I wasn't pleased with my lashes)but thankfully Zio fixed the problem immediately and set me up for an appointment with someone different the following day. So I've been coming here for quite some time and I've had one issue before today regarding my lashes falling out. The last time I was accommodated by being given an appointment immediately to have my lashes redone for free. I asked why did my lashes fall out so soon and they said it was a different glue that had been used.As I've mentioned I've been coming here quite some time so I do know how to take proper care of my lashes. So I just got my lashes done last Wednesday and by Saturday they were literally falling out in clusters.i couldn't make it over the weekend to have them redone so I called on Monday to schedule an appointment, and I was given an appointment but I couldn't make it (I'm a nurse and had a patient in which I had to care for). I rescheduled my appointment for today, so I get my lashes done by Angie who does a great job. When I'm ready to leave the young lady in the front asks for $40. I was in disbelief that I was charged for something that occurred just Three days after I got my lashes done. I was also in disbelief because a two week touch up costs $60 and was getting charged that amount and hadn't been a full week.so if two weeks is $60, that makes it $30 per week, Not $40.I asked why should I have to pay and the response was you have to call in two days to let us know, and the weather could have caused them to fall out (that was funny, because like I've said I've been coming here for a long time an it's never happened before). She ended up negotiating down to $30, then i explained how most of the lashes on my left eye were gone, she said she still had to charge me, so I got charged $20. Wow I love this place so much! I've been coming here religiously for the last 4 years. The location is extremely clean and the overall vibe is very soothing. They play very soft calming music. The day before your appointment they send you a text you remind you of your appointment which I personally love ! As soon as you walk in you're greeted by a very friendly attendant at the front desk who I've noticed knows the name of every single customer. (Big plus if the business treats you like a person and not a $ sign) I've never had to wait for my appointments and in the rare times i have it's never been more than10 minutes. Zio the owner is so kind and accommodating. I have a few go to technicians depending on the day of the week. (Yes I've been going here so long I know the staffs schedule) Wednesday and Friday Zoey is incredible and gives a great full long look. Saturday Veronica takes her precision steps in ensuring every single lash is covered in huge full effect and Lena on Sunday who is quick and still able to give the long whispy look. I have huge eyes and would recommend everyone with big time eye to get the gorgeous pack! It's 130 lashes per eye but trust me you'll love it too. Refill for the gorgeous pack is $80 every two weeks which is more than fair. I've come with maybe 5 lashes left and Basically needed a new set and they still only charged me for a refill. My experience at Mimo was not as great as I expected. It wasn't terrible but I probably will not be returning. The check in process was fast and easy. I believe they even took me before my scheduled time. The lash technician was pleasant and nice. She was quiet, which was nice because I was so tired. I was uncomfortable with taping both of my eyes down at the same time but I completely understand why that needed to be done. The process took between 1.5 and 2 hours. There were times where the pain was unbearable because the skin in the eye lid is so thin and tender. It felt as if she was sticking needles into my lid. I'm sure it's nothing she could help and I know it was not done purposely. It can't be easy to put individual lashes on. However the pain was toe curling. Upon leaving the salon, I was not satisfied. They weren't what I was looking for. They were long and made me feel overdone. Unfortunately, they were also very sparse and uneven. I've attached a picture so you can see what I mean. I tried combing them out but nothing fixed it. On top of that, my eyelids were in pain for the next three days. It still hurts to close them. Needless to say, I will not be going back. Maybe they're just not for me. Oh, one last thing, I tried calling to see if they could fix them and didn't get a response. They do not have an answering machine so I couldn't even call them. I got the cat eye normal lashes today and IM OBSESSED!!! Looks soooooo good! Now I don't know how hard it will be to care for them but as far as initial reactions go, I LOVE IT! The procedure was actually very relaxing..I fell asleep for most of it hah FOLLOW-UP: After 10 days, more than half the lashes were gone on each eye. I think I got 80 or 90 on each eye lid, whatever the groupon deal was. I'm sure if I did the 120-140 per eye, they would last much longer. Maintenance isn't easy...you REALLY have to be careful with washing your face and removing makeup, and that I felt took up more time than if I just applied mascara and would be able to thoroughly clean my face. Like, you have to blot-wash your face and use q-tips for makeup removal on the eyes..it's just a hassle. Overall, a fun experience, but I don't know that I'll do it again. He put me in touch with his lead technician, Veronica, who graciously came in early this morning especially to see me. She apologized for the experience and agreed that the service I received did not live up to their standards. Veronica and I decided to start over with a new set of individual lashes (she consulted with me on the best style based on the look I wanted!), which she so thoroughly applied for almost two hours. The lashes are great and I definitely feel like myself again. Upon leaving the salon, she apologized once more and Robert reached out to ensure I had a positive experience. I really wanted my lashes done for my birthday/LA work trip. Of course, I waited until the last minute and called around to a bunch of places in the area who were all booked. Mimo Lash was able to squeeze me in that afternoon and I'm so glad they did. As a first-timer, I was eager to get a full look and finally wake up in the morning with perfect lashes. I opted for the classic set which included 90 lashes per eye. The staff were very knowledgeable and considered several factors when recommending this set such as my eye shape, desired look, and budget. The salon is new and very clean with about 7 curtained booths for lash applications and other services. The process took about an hour. Since most will fall asleep during the application, they play very soft music to help you relax. The only discomfort I felt was the initial burning sensation as technician used a small fan to dry the lash glue which is normal. I was very pleased with the results and will return for touch ups! In the 2 weeks I've had them, only about 3 individuals lashes have fallen out. I'd definitely recommend Mimo Lash & Skin! read more

This was my first time ever getting eyelash extensions. I used a Groupon for a complete set. The quality is ok, but I had to ask the woman doing mine three separate times to please add extensions onto the eyelashes in the corners of my eyes (it looked as if I was wearing false eyelashes that weren't lined up correctly). Some of the extensions are clumped together even after brushing them out. They look ok, but I was expecting them to look perfect, especially after explaining they were for my upcoming wedding. I picked the cat-eye lashes and made sure we were 100% clear on what I wanted before committing to having my eyes closed for the next hour while the technician applied the lash extensions. When she was done, it was nothing close to what I asked for- she gave me the 'natural eye' look. I asked what happened to the other look that we agreed to, and she says oh that costs more money. Are you kidding me! I got tricked into being set-up to have to pay extra money to get the look I asked for? No! Mimo Lash did a great job on my lashes and they have excellent customer service! I came in for a $60 lash perm, but my lashes did not curl that well. I emailed them expressing my concerns. One of the ladies called me back the following day saying that she'd be happy to fix the situation. I came in and she offered a free keratin eyelash treatment, which is double the cost of what I originally got. The treatment was a little over an hour and the results were amazing! The lady that did my lashes was gentle with my eyes and she was very friendly. I'm really happy with the results, as well as how nice and accommodating the staff are. I just got a new set of lashes put on by Claire last night and they look amazing! I would definitely recommend going to her for lash extensions! Friendly staff and very clean! I called to inquire about pricing in the morning and they were able to take me later in the afternoon. I went to Sophie and she did a great job with my lashes. I've never had my lashes or eyebrows tinted before, but on a whim I decided I wanted to get it done. I really just went to the closest place to me apartment, but I'm glad I did! I made an appointment earlier in the day and was easily accommodated. The atmosphere was nice and clean, and I was seen right away. I think the lash and eyebrow tint took about 20-25 minutes and was easy and almost relaxing. I will admit that I should have asked more questions about the eyebrow tint (hello it's front and center on your face) because I felt it was a little dark. However, the girl (who's name I never got) immediately knew I was concerned and told me the dye in my skin would wash off and it would look lighter and that it would be lighter in a few days.
