I am really glad I came here. One thing that could have been clarified, when you purchase a dress and you do not use credit card you cannot pick it up immediately. Supposedly this is an industry standard, but not something we were told when we put it on hold. We were purchasing a sample dress and were concerned about waiting for a dress we had purchased, so we had to go to multiple ATMs to get cash (not easy to do without flagging your card).

I was told that because my dress was a brand new style that it would be in by the end of May/beginning of June. My dress didn't come until the end of July- so that was the first issue. I didn't make a stink about it because at least it arrived before the wedding. However, I was also advised that the 12 I tried on in the store (pictured is me wearing the size 12) "was way too tight" and that I needed to be measured to see what size would be appropriate. Against my own instincts I obliged, as I thought the professionals knew what they were doing. They sized me and told me to go with a 16, so that's what we did. When I finally got my dress over a month after I was told it would come in I took it into my seamstress right away. The seamstress immediately asked me how much weight I had lost since trying on and ordering the dress. Much to her surprise, I hadn't actually lost ANY weight at all. The seamstress then went on to tell me I was going to need to have my dress taken in 2 full sizes, all the way back down to a 12. So I'm basically having to pay for an entire new dress because the seamstress is going to have to take apart and reconstruct the dress. I contacted the manager of Evermore to give her a chance to remedy this issue prior to writing a bad review because I hate leaving bad reviews. However this situation is inexcusable and her unwillingness to do ANYTHING to make it right makes me sick- zero compassion or empathy for a bride who has to spend $1500 on alterations because of a mistake her employee made. My only other thought is that they intentionally tell their brides to order the wrong size so they have to spend money at the alterations shop that they partner with- because I was specifically asked if I'd be using their partner for alterations prior to deciding on and ordering my dress. The manager basically wrote me off and told me that I signed a contract when I took the dress home and that I should have tried it on before I left the store and there's nothing she can do for me (I live 5 hours away and needed to get going). I was apparently a fool to trust the "professionals". What a shame.

However, helpful staff took time to lead me in the right direction for my search and even checked in on me afterwards. Bobbette, my bridal stylist, was an amazing! She grabbed me at least 30 mins before my appointment I just pf had about 20 dresses set aside she got them carried them over asked me a few questions about the look informed of considerations around dress sizes, alteration timing as well as gave me options for dresses. She helped me locate shoes, belt and veil perfectly matched to my taste. She was courteous to me and my girlfriends that were there to support me. She never kissed a beat helping me get in and out of each dress, switching out dresses and locating other options she thought matched my taste. Ultimately I tried on about 7 dresses and had my final picks before my friends arrived at the correct appointment time. She patiently helped me retry them on to show. Then she talked to the seamstress to squeeze me in for alterations and Vicki was just as professional knowledgeable and efficient as Bobbette. I highly recommend this store and location!! We worked with Haley, who was very friendly, kind, and attentive. She made sure we had what we needed and was proactive in bringing out dresses for my daughter to try on. While Haley was pleasant to work with, we did feel the experience could have benefited from more consultative guidance. As this was our first time shopping for a wedding dress, we would have appreciated more expert input--such as suggestions tailored to my daughter's style preferences or advice to help narrow down the choices. Although we didn't find "the one" during our visit, it wasn't a bad experience. The staff was courteous, and the store had a decent selection. Didn't ask me (the bride) a single question about my wedding, how many bridesmaids I was having, or the style I wanted.
