Neenah was very helpful. She helped the entire party even when they were busy. When I came back impromptu with my mother to look at styles and fabrics she let us and was once again helpful. My recommendation is if you make an appointment, book double slots so she has the time necessary for your party, and ask for Neenah. The Greenfield store is so nice to assist you in making your dress purchase. They even let you ring a bell BUT buyer beware....it is all downhill after they get your money!!!! My daughter was treated without care or concern after they ordered her dress in the wrong size. "You can just have the dress on the rack because the right size won't be here in time for your wedding". Really? ...wear a dress for her special day that 100+ others have tried on!!!! No effort to make things right. Staff acts like you are bothering them. Rude, lack of kindness and unwilling to right their own mistakes. Even asking a question about accessories seems too much of an effort for this staff. What kind of a manager/ company allows service like this to take place? This experience was a complete joke from beginning to end. I did not purchase the dress from Davids bridal. I wanted a "reputable" and well-known company to alter, as I (mistakenly) thought I would end up with better results than a smaller, less-known shop. Saturday 7/27 - my first bridesmaid dress alterations appointment. Leticia was over 45 minutes late to the initial fitting. The receptionist said somehow it was missed that I checked in and was there waiting. When initially putting on the dress for the fitting, it zipped perfectly. No resistance. It fit great, just needed a few alterations. The dress needed the length to be hemmed, the bust was too large and droopy providing no cup support, the back sash needed to be tightened to lay flat against the skin rather than sag and the straps were too long falling off the shoulder. We took measurements for all adjustments needed and when it came to the straps, Leticia was not confident in her ability to alter the straps to the appropriate length. I did not want the straps to still be too short or too long after altered so I opted for adjustable straps. The bust was far too big and was a big point of complaint for me, noting this area needs special attention when altering. No cup suggestions were made by anyone at David's. Pictures were taken of how the dress looked prior to alterations and how the dress fit on me, once pinned with the requested alterations. The dress looked beautiful, and the back was nice and all lying flat. I paid $275 for total alteration and scheduled the pickup appointment. Thursday 8/22/24 @ 6pm - pickup appointment. Again, Leticia was late. When I tried on the dress, it no longer fit. The zipper would not come up even an inch. Leticia said she may have taken it in too much. I asked why it was taken it when it fit perfectly in the waist, and I did not request for it to be taken in there. The bust was too big but never thought the fix would be to take in the waist, so the dress no longer fits or zips. The straps that were now detachable, were popping off without even moving. Leticia said she will make them "heavy duty" snaps to better support. She said she will fix "free of charge." Please note: while the waist was taken in to "offset the larger bust," the bust was STILL far too baggy and not as requested. That also needed to be fixed, along with the waist. The dress needed to be let out. Leticia assured me this would not be an issue since she did not cut the fabric or dress. I changed to put my clothes back on. Leticia then measured me bust, waist, hips and stated the reason the dress did not zip is because I gained 1 inch in my bust. Just my busy 'ey, no where else?! I was very offended by the comment and now that she was trying to place the blame on me for the dress not fitting properly, instead of her poor alteration skills. She was very dismissive and would no longer make eye contact with me. It was clear she was annoyed that I was not happy with the dress. I scheduled yet another appointment. Thursday 9/5/24 @ 6pm - a new woman met me for my appointment who I later found out was the manager. She took me to try on the dress and immediately I started to cry. If you can believe it, the dress was even worse than the first botched alteration and worse than when I brough it in initially. Standing still the straps were still popping off (the manager said they should have been heavy duty snaps. I stated Leticia said they would be but are not) the bust had even more of a space now, allowing two full hands to be placed in between the fabric and my skin (pictures taken throughout the whole experience) AND the dress STILL did not fit once AGAIN! It did not zip and did not have the eye hook to fasten the top of the dress. The manager said we needed some pliers to get the dress shut. I asked the manager if, in general, when a customer comes in with the bust too loose, the solution is to take in the waist? She said no. The manager was pulling aggressively and still could not get the dress to even come close to being able to zip. I was in tears, asking how do we fix this? She said the dress was taken in by someone, I said yes by David's! She said no this is how the dress was brought to them. She said this was the one and only alteration David has done on this gown. Clearly, she had no awareness of the situation. I said absolutely not, Leticia altered it and took it in. She said she was not aware and did not know all the back story, yet she was very quick to make accusations. I would have thought for sure due to my issues on the previous pickup, a manager would be involved and aware of the situation to do damage control and make sure I was satisfied. Not the case. I explained I still do not have shoes or jewelry to go with my dress, as they have had it for so long and impossible to match shoes without seeing the dress. This store ruined my wedding dress! I am petite and when the altered the dress and brought the straps up it completely changed the bust of the dress and where everything fell. I had to go back to the store several times for them to fix it and they couldn't get it to work. There were other problems with the alterations AND there were black smudges on my dress even though they claimed to have cleaned it. Pictures are attached that show the quality of their work. There are black marks on the skirt of the dress, a large hole in the back of the skirt, and the clasp at the top is broken. DO NOT go to David's Bridal, specifically this store. read more

Overall this place is a three. My last alterations visit I was misquoted prices and I truly expected something wrong with my final fitting. And I had so many problems at my accessories meeting. Having trouble with this final appointment would have been par for the course. We are having a destination vow renewal and I knew this would be the last chance to pick up my dress with no time to fix it if they made a mistake. However, this is probably the smoothest experience since buying the dress. I still am giving it a 2 overall for service because I encountered so many problems. I don't know if this would be my first choice if I needed a dress next time when my kids get married. My dress was cleaned though and pressed and the beading fixed. Check every inch of your dress prior to purchasing and or picking up. My daughter had a huge hole in her prom dress. David's Bridal would not fix the hole nor discount the dress. Is that asking too much for a $315 dress? The manager instead was rude and blaming the seamstress. I have to think the seamstress probably could have fixed the hole had it been her fault. The only option the manger gave, after making a stink in the store, was option #1. A brand new dress in a larger size since they no longer had my daughter's size or option #2. A whole new style dress. Really?? Bigger size dress equals more $ for alterations! There are not many dresses to choose from since prom is right around the corner. We ended up walking out after a terrible experience with the Greenfield David's Bridal location. They were busy, which we were very patient about. Our stylist was helping another party as well as us, and we were understanding of this, but it quickly became clear that she was more interested in helping this larger party than our small one. We asked for assistance with dresses for two adult sized women and one flower girl, and she never even brought dresses for the flower girl to try. When she did bring dresses for the others, she did not listen well regarding our requests for style (such as no one shouldered dresses). She was rude about informing us that the colors I had chosen were not available in many styles (not true- I had thoroughly explored this on the website before coming to the store for our scheduled fitting), and that the timeline was not going to work well (we are four months out from the wedding). She informed us that one of the dresses we liked online was an online exclusive, so we requested the measurements that she took to assist in purchasing online, and she stated that we could take a picture and acted inconvenienced when asked to write them down. At that point she disappeared without giving us the measurements and we chose to leave. Give your money to another company! read more

Great place to go if your looking for a formal dress. A friend had the fantastic idea to check the bridesmaids clearance racks. It worked out well!!! I purchased a dress for $60 and it came with a $20 shutterfly gift card. Not a bad deal. It was a little tough to find someone to ask questions, no one really came to me. I had to keep coming to them for everything, questions, fitting room, etc. But the staff were all very nice and it was a Saturday late afternoon so they were busy. When I had my first dress fitting / alterations I was supposed to pick up my Maid of Honor's dress from alterations when I went in. Well a lady from David's Bridal on 74th Street in Greenfield called me and told me that unfortunately my Maid of Honor's dress won't be ready because the lady was out with the flu. Okay. Understandable. She asked if my Maid of Honor could come in another day. I explained that she can't come in on another day because she lives 4 hours north of here which is why I was going to pick it up when I went in for my alterations but to call me when her's is ready and I can come in another weekend to get it. The lady then asks me to reschedule MY alteration appointment for a day that my Maid of Honor's dress MIGHT be ready on. UMMMM NO WAY!! Who in their right mind would ask that?? I did contact the corporate office about this situation and I was happy with how it was resolved. I ended up being able to pick up my Maid of Honor's dress the same day as my alterations appointment WITHOUT rescheduling my appointment. The rest of my time with David's Bridal went well. Was just at David's Bridal trying on bridesmaids' dresses for my sister's wedding. Alexis helped us for almost 3.5 hours, getting all the sizes and styles we requested, and was very patient and nice the whole time. My sister also recently got her wedding dress there and had a good experience too, and last year I got a bridesmaid dress and was happy with my experience. The only reasons I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that some of the dresses we liked online, that were actually available online, we were told were not available in either the color or sizes we wanted. Also, you don't get a ton of privacy in the store, although that is to be expected, especially on a busy Saturday afternoon. If you are actually changing clothes or getting alterations you have total privacy tho. Side note--getting alterations done at David's can add up fast, so if you have a trusted seamstress or tailor somewhere else, maybe consider them. They do a fine job with the alterations but it can cost you big time. read more

This place was so bad, I had the review written in my head before we even left the store. I had my reservations about making an appointment here, but my mom insisted. So, I made an appointment for my mom to try on mother of the bride dresses for my upcoming wedding. I made an appointment for myself at a different David's Bridal, and while that wasn't a great experience, it wasn't bad. This experience, was shit. As soon as the consultant found out the appointment was for my mom, not for me, she was pretty much nonexistent. And by nonexistent, I mean she didn't help us at all, ask us any questions, even say goodbye. When you're selling shitty dresses of shitty quality, I guess you can expect shitty service - but aren't you trying to sell this shit? You didn't even try! Did I mention this was a weekday morning, the first appointment of the day, and it was EMPTY?!?!?! We browsed around the polyester nightmare for a while, my mom tried a few dresses on, and I acted as consultant, pulling and tucking the dress where appropriate to get a more accurate view of what it might look like fitted. Sure enough, we didn't like any of the very few dresses that were even appropriate (my mother is not a grandmother nor a bridesmaid, don't you have any nice, semi-stylish options?), and hightailed it out of there, without even so much as a goodbye. My original wedding dress budget was $500, so of course David's was a necessary evil when looking for my dress (I had a bad experience years ago when purchasing a bridesmaid gown and having alterations done there). I made an appointment for a Saturday - DO NOT MAKE A SATURDAY APPOINTMENT! I was later told that on Saturdays bridal consultants can have up to 90 appointments during their busy season! Upon arriving the store was super crowded and hectic. After waiting in line to check-in I was shuffled off to a sales person from Men's Warehouse and given their spiel, which I thought was a rather rude waste of my time considering I had time constraints and needed to make it to another appointment after. After than I was introduced to my bridal consultant who was obviously preoccupied. I gave her around 5 printouts of wedding dresses I had found on David's website and wanted to look at. She pretended to look at them and that was the last time I saw them, or the dresses! She basically told me she was already working with another bride, but would have an assistant to help pull dresses and disappeared after telling us to take a look. There were rows upon rows of dresses! After about 10 minutes she reappeared and were told we were allowed to pull five dresses at a time. After pulling my first five dresses I went over to the rows of fitting rooms. I was told I would need a bra and slip to try on dresses, which they brought me and I was stuffed into a tiny fitting room that was barely big enough for myself and the consultant and had zero mirrors so every time I was forced to come out and show everyone the dress in order to get a look in the mirror. Throughout the experience it was a constant shuffling between the bridal consultant and her assistant, who seemed reluctant. After voicing some concerns to my consultant and letting her know I had to make it to another appointment, she did seem to pick things up a bit and share more of her time with us vs the other bride she had been tending to. So I can't say she completely did not care. One final note, I found a dress that was probably two sizes too small for me, and tried it on anyway. I ended up liking it quite a bit, but because it was very fitted and didn't fit me right, I wasn't able to fully see what I would look like. Unfortunately, that was the only size in the store so instead of calling the Brookfield store to see if they had the size I needed, it was recommended I purchase the dress from them and if there was a problem I could send it back. Went in today to shop for bridesmaids dresses with the wedding party I'm in, and honestly I've had better service a lot other places. One of the girls in our group is pregnant and by the time of the wedding she'll be about 7.5 months. When our associate Shaina asked us for the dress style and size we all wanted and got to her, she made a rude comment saying "for future reference, you need to address this before we take measurements" in a very rude tone. To the bridesmaid's defense, she was just going to try on multiple sizes and pick one that's a little bigger. After that both I and another brides maid asked her questions about ordering our dresses and she completely ignored us. I have enough time waiting for assistance to zip my dress to write this entire review. DO NOT GO HERE! I will start off by saying I am totally in love with my dress, however this place is a joke. I scheduled my appointment to try on wedding dresses, I get there and am waiting half an hour past my appointment time. As I'm trying on dresses the girl is rushing me because she has another appointment in half an hour. So I'm supposed to try on all my wedding dress choices in half an hour? No. They also did no "celebration" type thing when I said yes to the dress. I found the dress I wanted, and purchased it. The lady that measured me said I needed a size 6, mind you I am usually a zero in everything else, I asked her multiple times to make sure she was right, she was positive that I needed a 6. So that's what a purchased, along with a garment bag, because apparently they don't include one in your dress purchase. My dress came in very quickly, about a month. I get a call saying my dress is ready and that I have 7 days to pick it up, mind you they also count those 7 days with the days they are closed. I called to see if they could hold the dress for me for one extra day, because I absolutely could not make it there in those first 7 days seeing as this place is over 45 minutes from my house. They said the could hold my dress but only for one more day or they would be sending it back and I would loose my dress and also the money I spent on the dress! What?!?! I was livid. I went and picked up my dress, they did not give me the option to try it on. So I took the dress home, 45 minutes away, tried it on and the dress was literally falling off me, so I got back in my car drove another 45 minutes to return it for a different size. When I got there they remeasured me and it was clear that the girl who originally measured me messed up bad.. they reordered me a new dress and told me they would let me know when it came in. A month past and they called me to pick up my new dress. Again in those 7 days. This time I tried the dress on there, still a little big and could of used a size down, but didn't want to deal with them any longer, so I just took me dress. When they handed me my dress to leave it wasn't in the garment bag I purchased, it was in a plastic bag. I told them I ordered one and gave them my receipt. The lady proceeded to tell me that they didn't have any there and that this would have to do. I was starting to get very angry at this point, 10 minutes later and they magically found one in the back for me. Long story short, DO NOT GO HERE! I received very slow service. When I went to get my dress, I was made to wait at least 30 minutes passed my original appointment time but after that, it was fine. There was some rude staff - when my bridesmaid went to get her dress, one of the managers was extremely rude to her. Some of the ladies at the register were very unorganized. I would not recommend getting alterations here, it took them 3 times before they got the alterations right and I was only able to get the dress 3 days before the wedding. read more

Horrible customer service! Was there yesterday to purchase a "Mother of the bride"dress and from the start, we got zero assistance. I understand that to get the best customer service, an appointment should be made, but when it's a Monday and being the only customer in the store, and all employees were JUST standing around, you'd expect SOME kind of customer service! On our own, we collected all the dresses we were interested in (about 20) grabbed our own dressing room, and even put away all of the dresses we weren't interested in. When I did need assistance, they ignored me. Some employees stood back and watched us as my Mom tried things on, seeing that we were struggling to see how the dress would fit by pinching the back to tighten it, (not offering us clips) didn't offer to find another size or to let us know that we could or couldn't order one in the size we were looking for. Bullied my 5 year old as she was just being your average, bored, give year old. While she was looking at veils. ADVICE- do not discipline other people's children! Go to the parent and tell them what can and can't be touched. You don't snatch it from the child's hands without a word, besides "give this to me". It's a floor model veil that has rips in it that hundreds of people try on. It's not brand new by any means, or crystal... Finally I had enough and loudly expressed my disappointment and stated that we were going to the David's Bridal in Brookfield instead. (Excellent customer service there btw. That's where I bought my dress, bridesmaid dresses, and ultimately, my Mother's dress) After they overheard me, that's when they decided they wanted to do their job and help out. I had the most AMAZING experience at the south Milwaukee/ greenfield location the staff was wonderful and made me feel so comfortable and cared for. I had the pleasure of having Elizabeth assist me in finding my wedding dress and let me tell you words cannot express how much this woman made me feel Beautiful! Every dress she picked out for me was right on. I was actually going to wait until the last minute to get my dress because I didn't feel like I had the right "body" type to wear a dress so I was very hesitant to come and try on dresses but I still got the courage to call and make the appointment. I walked in 30min early to take a peek before my fitting and as I was walking around looking overwhelmed I assume because one of the sales girls came up to me and said "just breath and keep an open mind, trust me" and boy was she right. My personal concern is that this place feels overall "cheap" or better word "budget". Price ranges from $100 to above $1000, and has a good inventory of all sizes if you are just looking for a dress that would do the job. If instead, you are looking for an unique and special dress with real jewel and high quality material that you would like to pass on to generations, this may not be the best place for it. After visiting a few more shops, I decided to give David's Bridal one more shot and go to the Greenfield location instead. It was like day versus night! Alysson gave me a proper tour of the store and made me feel extremely welcome. I showed her some examples of dresses I wanted to try on and she gave me some suggestions. We received fantastic help from our bridal consultant and in addition the store manager stoped by several times to help. Couple months ago I want to find my own dress and I had a list of dresses I wanted to try on. Not one of those dresses were brought to me. Every dress that was brought to me was close to $2000 and up. I did give in and buy a sash there which I was just told I was not going to get until February and I ordered it back in October. It I came in yesterday and I was told I had exactly 5 days to pick it up or else. Or else what? I was gonna lose my money and they would send back. I was absolutely not impressed. We first went to David's Bridal to try on bridesmaids dresses, the consultant we were given was Elizabeth. The bride(age 25), lost her mom when she was 16... so you can understand why this is an emotional time. As soon as we walked into the shop, you could tell the consultant we were given did not enjoy her job. She was not attentive with any of us. She insisted that none of us needed to be sized properly for our dresses because the wedding date is a year away. If I were allowed to give negative "stars" for my rating, I would. This was the worst experience I've EVER had as far as customer service goes. Originally, my sister-in-law to be had scheduled our appointment for a late afternoon on a Wednesday. She was told that it would be the perfect time to come in because they were always slow during the week (not like we really cared because we needed to get the dress regardless). When we arrived, they were anything BUT dead, but again, we didn't care because the wedding date is soon approaching and we needed to get the dress. We were "assigned" one of the workers to our group who was supposed to help get us measured, find the dressed we wanted to try on, and help us get into them at least. The woman assigned to us came and took my measurements - saying: "Arms up, feet together." NOTHING ELSE WAS SAID until we then showed her which dresses I wanted to try out. We had printed out images of the dresses (approximately 6) that had the name written across the top of the page as well. She grabbed two dresses, gave them to me, and walked away without saying a word. As if things weren't going poorly enough, our assistant never came back to see how our dresses were working, but instead ignored us for the next 2 hours as we tried to find certain dresses in the correct sizes. The woman walked past us multiple times, sometimes seeing us struggle, and didn't say a word to us. Finally, we ended up asking someone else for help who was extremely friendly, however she wasn't much help because she was from the alterations department. Moving on, we asked another woman who turned out to be the manager. She quickly checked the computer to see if we could get the dress we wanted in my size and color before the date of the wedding. While waiting to hear back from her, our snotty assistant returned just to see which dresses I wanted her to put back on the rack. At this point, we were so mad because she wanted nothing to do with us, looked down her nose at us, and rolled her eyes at us multiple times during this short interaction. By the time the manager came back, she informed us that the only dress that would be available in my size and the needed color, was a floor model from another store. This led us into new problems because who really wants to purchase the floor model? As we pondered on about what we were going to do, we overheard, the woman who was assigned to work with us, TALKING ABOUT US TO A COWORKER! Let me add that MULTIPLE employees were just standing around while we we searched for help and while we clearly had no one really working with us. We had had enough of this crap and wanted to walk out, however David's Bridal is the only store that carries the color we needed. Although we ended up buying the dress, our service was horrendous from both the assistant and the manager. They both had terrible attitudes and spoke to us like we were scum, in addition to rolling their eyes at us countless amounts of times. To think that this place is supposed to be a business where brides and bridesmaids can find dresses for the special day is a joke. I don't believe that all of the locations are as terrible as this one, but I definitely think that they need to revamp their entire staff. The fact that I couldn't wait to call the corporate office and give this review should say a lot. If you're looking for someone to make you feel like garbage while you're trying on dresses for your big day, then this is definitely the place to go. I hate that I found the dress I loved here and I hate that this woman probably gained commission off of my purchase. I will never enter this location again and I will make sure to inform everyone I know of this despicable experience. read more

I have been here on three separate occasions. All three times I was extremely disappointed. I was ignored when I arrived, I even booked an appointment for one of the occasions. The service is awful, I went in to get sized for a dress. I was told to order one size. So I went home and ordered that same size. When it came it was SO tight (6days or so later) so there is no way I gained weight or anything. When I went to the store I was told they couldn't help me with any online orders (WHAT?!) I would've ordered whichever size I needed. In any case I wouldn't suggest ever coming here for anything. Save yourself the trouble and go to a real boutique. read more

My mother and I went in to look at wedding dresses just to get a feel for what was available. When we were searching through the racks I found one on clearance that I was really drawn to. We asked if we could try it on but we didn't know you needed an appointment to do so. Luckily Nicole D, our consultant, said she didn't have appointments until later, and she very graciously helped us and made us feel so welcome. I tried on that very first dress that I picked and was instantly in love. Nicole was extremely knowledgeable and knew the inventory so well and helped us accessorize and complete the look. I got my dress and accessories in only an hour, and never felt rushed. If it wasn't for Nicole I wouldn't have my dream dress today. I'm so grateful to her for accommodating us on such short notice. The biggest thing that sets bridal stores apart is the level of service. I recently got engaged and went to look at dresses to figure out what styles I liked before I brought my mom and bridesmaids. I was at the store for a half hour, looking through dresses. Nobody said a single word to me until I left. They then said goodnight. There was one other bride and 4 sales people there. I liked the people I worked with there until I found out that they basically ripped me off and was just trying to make a sale. I was VERY disappointed in the fact that I went to get my alterations in the IL David's bridal and they said since they sold me a size 16 dress and I'm a size 4 it would cost me more than the dress cost to do alterations. The David's bridal in Milwaukee had a size 6 and told me it wouldn't fit me so they didn't even let me try it on and they also didn't make it seem like it would be hard to alter the dress at all and that was not the case. The seamstress at the IL David's bridal was mortified that they even sold me the dress considering it was nowhere near my size. So I was very disappointed in the fact they did that to me. Especially considering I'm a month out from my wedding and if the David's bridal in IL didn't have my size at there store I would've had to find a new dress and pay extra money to get my alterations rushed. read more

I bought my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses here. I went for my initial appointment during the week and I felt taken care of. My second appointment (when I actually bought a dress) was on a Saturday morning. It was not too busy, and the lady who helped was quite nice (Vicki). I go back this weekend to pick up my dress, which only took 2 weeks to arrive. read more

Service was poor and when I tried on my dresses I got no help. Even when she did come back after about 20 minutes, I had said "well I don't really like it" and made a nervous laugh and she gave me attitude and said "well I don't care. I didn't make the dress." It was rude and I left after that. No one else was in the store so she had no reason to walk away. Horrible. Never going back. read more
