Cupcakes presented as made daily. However, when I spoke with the woman at the shop (who later admitted to being the owner) she said they were from 2-days ago. Selling subpar 2-day old products for the ridiculous full-price? Sorry, where I'm from legitimate bakeries heavily discount day old products. I was treated so rudely by who I believed to be a disgruntled employee that I asked for the managers name. That is when Mrs Enloe informed me she is the owner. I am amazed she's in business if she finds it appropriate to attempt to belittle a customer who asked the simple question about the date the cupcake was baked. Unfortunately for Mrs Enloe I am not easily intimidated by bullies. Unfortunate and unforgettable visit. Alicia is just as sweet as the desserts she makes. We were neighbors at a local craft show and she mentioned that she owned a bakery and I almost jumped up and down with giddiness when she said that she could make vegan cupcakes and deliver them to my booth. The cupcakes were as good as I hoped with strawberry icing with just the right amount of sweetness and a moist chocolate cake. It was one of the best vegan cupcakes I've eaten. I found Bliss on yelp, looking for someone to make my wedding cake. I live in Dallas and got married in Hot Springs so not easy to sample. The women there were wonderful to work with, they explained everything and made my cake perfect based on a photo I sent them. Now the cake it's self was so freaking good we barely had any left and everyone enjoyed it. The strawberries were so sweet, and we added an order of vegan cupcakes, I have had my fair share of vegan deserts and they taste vegan. These on the other hand you couldn't tell, kids ate them, friends that give me a hard time being vegan ate them and licked the frosting clean. This is an absolutely wonderful place to get cupcakes. They have every flavor and are artfully prepared, plus the taste is perfect. I went there Saturday and the lady there was a delight. Bliss told me that they make Gluten free to order, but when the hubby called to order a cupcake they told him that they do NOT do Gluten free. Fine, Spa City cakes saved the day on that one. Ok, so another time I stoped and got my daughters cupcakes and they were horrible. They were so dry! I called and spoke with the owner and she was so unbelievably rude. She did admit the cupcakes were old and made the day before so kudos for honesty. She ended up Facebook stalking me after hanging up and found that our sons were friends. She contacted me back and was so sweet and asked me to give her a second chance. First of all, treat all of your customers the same.. So, I reviewed her on the Hot Springs restaurant reviews page. I was actually very calm regarding my review and left a lot of details out. Basically my biggest complaint was her customer service. Anyhoo...so she saw my comment and was upset about it..understandably. she proceeded to do a giveaway and the community was to vote. Long story short she showed her immaturity. Bliss Cupcakes is a 10/10 on all levels! Spa City is so fortunate to have you! Great customer service, delicious cupcakes, cake pops, chocolate covered strawberries (you name it... She has it) and last but not least, the appearance of the cupcakes/cakes are out of this world! One of my favorite things about this cupcake store is the versatility of the cupcakes. During the fall she can whip up the most amazing pumpkin spice cupcake, and then turn around during the summer and make a key lime cupcake that will make you feel like you are in the Florida Keys. When you walk into the shop you can look around and see all of the fun notebooks, key chains, tumblers, aprons, and even little girls head bands! It's fun for the whole family to sit in the dining area and enjoy your cupcake with a tall glass of milk! The last thing I would like to touch on is the owner. Mrs. Enloe has stolen my heart! She is generous, fun, and is always respectful to my family and all of the other customers that come into her shop. I will forever be a Bliss Cupcakes girl!
