The best coffe if town by far in my opinion and great place to sit down and enjoy your time!

Super cute coffee spot in downtown Hot Springs. We circled for parking for a while and parked a few blocks down but the long line to order told us it would be well worth the wait. The drinks were excellent. I had a hot chai latte and was surprised by how mild the sweetness was. I really enjoyed the flavor, and didn't feel like it was bogged down with syrup. I also ordered the build your own bagel, which unfortunately I don't have a picture of. The ordering process was a little bit daunting with lots of different options. I ended up choosing ham, cheese, and avocado. It came out hot and fresh and was the perfect quick brunch before we set off to check out the square. read more

This is a great coffee shop. The owner is a friendly gentleman who wants to make sure his customers are happy, even when there's challenge to find decent parking outside. I ordered a mocha, which he added some cinnamon (at my request) and it came out excellent. My husband enjoyed the brew and we ended up purchasing some local beans to take home. Coffee beans that, according to the owner, are award winning in the world. The shop is big, but the chairs aren't as comfortable to sit in for too long. I would still return again. read more

Gosh, what a complete disappointment. I've been jumping for a poppyseed bagel with locks and cream cheese for sometime and I could've sworn they used to have it on their menu. I made my way all the way down to bathhouse Road and finally acquired parking. Walked in and it smelled wonderful, location is bright and airy, and unique with a blend of old world castle meets mid-century modern And decorated in local artists work. As I step near the counter, they had nice big TVs displaying their extensive mania, but the problem is the font is so small. You can't read them if you wear glasses. So I figured for sure they had to have at least one or two printed menus at the register. I waited my turn and asked her if they had a menu and she immediately bark me " NO.... I've told my boss several times that we need one, but she doesn't want to encourage the expense. " I politely explained that a QR code that could be scanned by anybody's cell phone could easily take care of that issue and would be simple to edit/make changes to any menu pricing descriptions for graphics. She just stared at me blankly. I ordered a bagel with lox and cream cheese because I still couldn't read the damn menu. It was too far away and the font was too small. I don't know if she was having a bad day or what, but she barked again "we don't have locks, we can't keep salmon and fresh here"... apparently the young lady has no clue that blocks or smoked salmon in a simple refrigerator would take care of that. Then she said, besides it's too expensive." I'll be the one that decides what's too expensive, sweetheart. If customers are asking for it then maybe you should at least investigate as a business owner what they want. Regardless, the Kurt interchange that I had with this lady was not deserved, I wasn't rude, in fact I was Exceptionally nice to her, asking about her day, and that just seemed to irritate her further. Again, most likely something that I'm not even aware of is going on here, but to take it out on your customers is unnecessary and very unprofessional. And also doesn't make one feel very welcomed or want to come back. My bagel arrived, toasted and cold. Neither of which I asked for. The coffee was supposed to be a dark wind, and I could see through it when she put it in the only cup they had available, which was a medium, even though I got charged for a large. As a hole, I realize that they're in a tourist trap portion of town, but my gosh, comparing my experience to the reviews. It's like I'm in a completely different business. Normally, I give a business three chances before I avoid them, but this was such a nasty experience and then she added her own tip on top of it. All, I won't be back. Ordered food and coffee while here. My sons liked their frappe drinks and my husband and I were underwhelmed. I ordered a cortado with oatmilk. I received a single shot of espresso without a trace of oatmilk that I paid extra for. The Huevos Ranchero served on naan was an interesting touch. The avocado fresh, eggs done perfect and salsa was good. I think I would have preferred it on sourdough. It was underwhelming. My sons ordered turkey Sammie's that were huge but were not very tasty. I tried them to see what if my sons were just being picky but the sauce on them was a vinegar-based (?) sauce that did not taste great. I think they're trying to be fancy, but over complicated simple items that could have delivered well with a more straightforward profile. The price was exorbitant for a simple coffee shop and I wish we would have stopped at the pancake house just a few doors down. read more

The flavors available for the coffees are a good selection of sugar free and regular. They do have half and half which makes this a great option for a creamier coffee. The staff working there was great, which helped with deciding on what to order. The restaurant had some good seats that were cozy and offered a great scene with the shop slightly backed up against the mountain rock, you can see it out of the extra large glass window in the back part of the shop. read more

Visiting Hot Springs for the first time and looked up coffee/tea shops in the area and this is the most recommended. Went in on a Sunday at 11 am and they were busy! Great food options, very vegetarian and vegan friendly. I ordered an Egg Florence and it seriously was one of my favorite things I've eaten in Hot Springs! The breakfast is better than Pancake Shop, which is a very popular breakfast place just down the street, but I think Kollective's food is much more delicious. Also ordered Halo and Jasmine Lily Tower bloom teas-- both were also fabulous! Only complaint would be the menu size on the tvs-- font is tiny and very difficult to read, and the seating wasn't great. Overall, staff was great and food was delicious! read more

Food is fabulous, scones are warm and moist. Coffee has fabulous notes and lots of milk and flavoring options. Bagel breakfast sandwich came out steaming hot and so yummy. It's a busy, noisy place but not loud to the point you can't enjoy yourself and sit And visit. Always come here when I'm in town. read more

This place was amazing ! Their employees are extremely helpful, sweet, attentive and informative. I was craving matcha, and when I was placing an order the employee let me know before hand that the matcha is not automatically sweet, which I loved the heads up so i can order accordingly!! The matcha was made extraordinarily delicious I ordered an iced matcha with oat milk, SF vanilla and lavender. Once again the employee let me know that the lavender isn't SF, I wish i caught this employees name so i can shout them out but sadly I didn't !! I would totally come again and if i was a local, I would be here everyday !! This coffeehouse is both for socializing and for doing work. :) Their playlist was also very good, I shazamed a few songs during my time there. read more

My family was visiting Hot Springs for a weekend, and this cafe was located within walking distance from the main shopping areas and bathhouses, and given the many plantbased health conscious options on their menu, we decided to give it a try. Wow this place is popular! We arrived around 11:45, and there was a line to the door, so we waited almost 20 minutes just to order and then another 10 for the food. There was still a line when we left around 1pm. Thankfully plenty of seating, so there was usually a table or 2 always available at a time. We tried: -the hummus ($9, 10/10 very good, went light on the naan relative to the amount of hummus given) -the vegan gyros ($14, 9/10, too salty for my taste) -the soup of the day ($7 for a bowl, 5/10, spinach and feta when we went; very very salty and too cheesy) -detox salad ($13.50, 4/10, simple and dressing was too sweet). We originally wanted their quinoa salad, but they were out when we went. Seems like their food was hit or miss with some things tasting great but others weren't. Good coffee, nice people and a comfortable environment. My issue and I must admit it is with the majority of coffee shops. My lattes are always cappuccino's in disguise. Why does my latte have 3" of foam on top. I almost dislocated my shoulder picking it up expecting there to be a little weight in the cup. Is this laziness or lack of knowledge on the barista's part. Needing a little caffeine pick me up before beginning the days adventures, we walked over from our hotel to try Kollective coffee + tea. I ordered one of their seasonal beverages, which was a pumpkin spice shaken espresso. My husband ordered a classic black Americano while my father ordered a chai tea latte. Unfortunately, all of our drinks were slightly off. My beverage was way toosweet - sickly sweet. My dad was not a fan of the chai they used in his latte and my husband said that his Americano tasted burnt. Not the best representation of the coffee scene in Hot Springs, Arkansas, but maybe we just caught them on an off day. read more

The best little restaurant in Hot Springs. The food is fresh and light, which is exactly what I'm looking for in a meal before or after a spa treatment. (We are in Spa City, after all, so a heavy meal before a mineral bath won't do.) At Kollective Coffee + Tea, you'll find lots of salads, hummus, fruit, yogurt, keto wraps, tea, and vegan/gluten-free baked goods. I learned that the chef has a Mediterranean background, and when I saw that the special of the day was a vegan falafel with sweet potato chips, I had to get that. It was the right thing to do! The pita was soft and held an abundance of falafel, cucumber, tomato, parsley and hummus. I didn't want to stop eating. The falafel came with a side of sweet potato chips, which were -- hand to god -- the best sweet potato chips I've ever eaten. They were light and crispy, not at all oily, and just perfect. I keep thinking about this meal. If I come back to Hot Springs, I'm coming back to Kollective and praying that they're serving the falafel that day. I haven't even mentioned the huge variety of tea that they offer here: green tea, white tea, blooming tea, black tea, oolong tea, puerh tea, matcha, herbal, rooibos -- I'm sure I'm missing some. They serve most of the tea either hot or over ice. I visited in the springtime, so I got an iced sakura (cherry blossom) tea, which was both beautifully blush pink and delicately delicious. The atmosphere is very welcoming and calm, with lots of places to relax. It's kind of funky and hippie-ish in this place. And it makes sense, because another thing I found out is that the owner of Kollective used to live in Southern California, and took his inspiration for the restaurant from a beloved restaurant in Orange County called Gypsy Den! If you're one of the 0.01% who is reading this and knows that I'm talking about, you will know what I'm talking about with the vibe. The vibe here is Appalachian Gypsy Den. To sum up: Great fresh food, a thoughtful menu, an abundance of tea, and a friendly, warm space. This is a must-visit restaurant in Hot Springs. read more

Stopped in for our morning coffee while visiting Hot Springs. It's a super cool place with plenty of space for sitting. Coffee came out fast and baristas were kind. Dropped by Kollective Coffee while in town on a tip from a friend. I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere; comfy chairs and good smells. I ordered a nitro cold brew, but as they were out I bought a drip black coffee instead. I believe they serve Onyx coffee, and it was well prepared and tasted lovely. My companions that ordered food received large and tasty looking dishes and responded that they were delicious. Will return next time I'm in Hot Springs. read more
