A really fun spot! My friend and I spent a few hours on their patio eating and drinking. They have big shady umbrellas and misters along the perimeter, so even if it's hot, it's not miserable. The staff were super friendly and didn't rush us at all. Kid and dog friendly - lots of cute dogs around. :) The beer and root beer are the stars of the show, they're brewed with the geothermal spring water - only brewery in the world to do that! The beer was tasty, and some had interesting ingredients like dill, basil, and jalapeño. I did wish they had a non-pickle flavored sour. I'm happy they offer flights to try different varieties! Food was decent, delicious fries and the elote nuggets were to die for. The bacon on my BLT had a nice peppered flavor. We finished off the afternoon with a root beer float which was lovely! Such a unique restaurant here in Hot Springs. Only brewery in a U.S. National Park. Only Brewery in the world that uses the thermal spring water. The restaurant itself is located in a historic brewhouse. With all of that being said... you can certainly expect a wait, especially during peak hours. For our party of three at about 11 on a weekday during the middle of spring break, it was about an hour wait. Thankfully, it wasn't too big of a problem. We still had some parts of Bathhouse Row that we had to explore. When there was a spot available, we got the notification through text. We headed on over. We were seated at a table right behind the host. It was shared with another pair but there was enough room so it wasn't too much of a problem. Usually, we don't drink. However, because of the uniqueness of this place, we just had to try. We aren't built for the Beer Bath that allows you to sample all 18 beers on tap. Instead, we opted for the flight which was more than enough for us. I'll be honest... I can't tell the difference at all between the different beers. Nevertheless, that speaks more to my inexperienced beer palate. The four taps that we got were all tasty and lasted us through the meal. For starter, we got the fried cauliflower. Crispy exterior that made our daily veggie intake that much more delicious. Paired very well with ranch. For main, I got Rose's Burger. The bacon jam provided a good amount of sweetness that was balanced by some of the spice from the pepperjack cheese and the savoriness of the burger itself. My mom got the reuben sandwhich. It was standard. My dad got the steak sandwich - it's basically a philly cheese. I thought it was particularly good especially since they use beer cheese made in-house. In terms of serivce, I will say that it was slow at times. However, as mentioned, this place is incredibly busy so definitely gotta give them some grace. Stayed off the main drag for 3 nights in Hot Springs in mid-March. It was hard to find a variety of restaurants within walking distance so went to the nearby Superior Bathhouse. We were a party of 2 that happened to arrive the same time as a party of 8-10 around 8pm. It was dark and our table wasn't really set up for service: there was no night lamp on the table to read the menu and it took forever to get napkins and silverware. We ordered hamburgers, fries and beer. Food was meh. Fries were cold and burger was mediocre at best. We still left a significant tip bc we truly talking w/our server, a Hot Springs local, who ultimately made our experience pleasant. It's nice to sit outside on the patio if the weather is nice. We stopped here midday for a break from the heat and to try their famous spring water brewed beers. We loved that it was dog friendly so our dog could cool off too. They gave her a cute little bandana as a souvenir. We ordered two rounds of the flight and wanted to play a guessing game from their beers on tap. Our server was on board and helped me pick a few for my bf to guess. We also ordered their pretzel and corn nuggets, so yummy. The pretzel with the beer cheese was perfect, crusty but soft and the beer cheese was flavorful. The mustard was also good with it. Our favorite beers were the Beez Kneez, Bet the Farm, and Spa Town Brown. A controversial one for us was NorthWoods which I personally really enjoyed with the pine notes but my bf is not a fan of IPAs lol. National park and a brewery what could be better. After a long day on the trails a nice cold beer or two was nice. Wife got a Spicy Ride and a 4oz of the Big Dill. She loved the Spicy Ride. Great flavoring and hits you in the throat heat. The Big Dill just tasted like pickle juice no hint of alcohol at all. I got the Bet the Farm and 4oz of Chaude Fontaine Gold both was a very good. My wife got the sweet potato salad and fell in love with it. The sweet potato in the salad was surprisingly very delicious. The seeds and bacon have a nice crunch and the acid from the pickled onion bright everything together. And the Asian carrot vinaigrette was sweet and savory. I got the Reuben sandwich and the meat to sauerkraut to dressing was well balanced. The rye was lightly toasted and was good. We mainly just came to drink. The hazy ipa was good. Tried the pretzel, the beer cheese dip was good but could do with a little more seasoning/flavor. Very cool brewery restaurant located in an old bathhouse. There was indoor and outdoor seating (on a warm spring day the patio looked really inviting but there were definitely mosquitoes to contend with, so we opted to sit indoors). It looked like they might have pet friendly seating outside. I got to try a small sample of their Beez Kneez, which had a very interesting flavor due to the basil they use. Our server was good, and the kids were thrilled to learn that the root beer (brewed with water from the springs) also included free refills. The smash burgers were a hit at our table, as were the elote nuggets (and those were NOT spicy at all). We were disappointed that they had run out of the sweet potato salad. This location was walking distance from our hotel, so that was a huge perk while visiting hot springs. I was directed here on a recommendation from one of the locals. This restaurant makes their own beer using the thermal water from the hot springs! How awesome and cool is that! I came in here to get a flight of beers and ended up getting the one with 4 instead of the bigger one. They each had their own unique taste and enjoyed it very much. They have an outdoor patio with misters so people can enjoy the outside while staying cool. The inside sill has some of the antique decor and finishes from when it use to be a bath house back in the day. I ended up sitting at the bar but I think I would have prefer to sit in one of the seats that faces the street to see people as they walk by. It's not often that I leave reviews less than 3 stars, but here we are. The location and building itself is historic and beautiful. The food was halfway decent. The service though? Absolutely horrid. The two hosts were incredibly unfriendly and rude. We nearly walked out when we encountered the hosts, but it was our mistake for sticking around. Hot Springs has plenty of great food options to offer, don't choose this spot. This is a must visit for me anytime I'm in Hot Springs. The service is super friendly. There's indoor and outdoor patio seating. They don't take reservations so plan accordingly and don't be upset if there's a wait at peak times. I like sitting along the front windows as it's excellent for people watching. The menu has a nice variety from salads to sandwiches to burgers and nachos. The brewery is family friendly so there's even a kids menu with a good variety. I like that they offer beer flights. You can also purchase 4 oz pours of beer which is nice if you just want to taste something without having a full beer. They have house made root beer as well for anyone who wants to try something made from the hot springs, but doesn't want alcohol. I love their fries. I'm a fry connoisseur and I think about their fries often, probably some of the best I've ever had. Before you leave, purchase some little 4oz glasses with the brewery logo. If you've seen any of my other reviews, you know I'm not one to walk by a brewery without going in. We were in Hot Springs and needed to kill some time. I say that as if I wouldn't have gone regardless. I found out when i was in there that their stuff is made from thermal water which is very cool, imo. We were seated immediately inside around lunchtime. Our server was wonderful. They have a lovely beer menu with quite a variety. I tunnel visioned the minute I saw something was brewed with jalapeños but after ordering that one I regretted not getting a flight. There were so many beers on that list I wanted to try. Anyway, they had so many good appetizer options I didn't even need to look further on the menu. As painful as it was, we passed on the obligatory Bavarian pretzel and instead, got the cheese dip and the fried cauliflower. The cheese dip was delicious but a touch more thin than other cheese dip I've had. You do run the risk of dripping some of that on your face/person/table but it's worth the risk. The cauliflower was enjoyable as well. Nice breading. I do with they had more dip provided because the little dollop was not adequate for all of the 'flower. So many excellent beer to choose from and very good food, can't go wrong with this place. read more

We had bar top seating looking out onto the street so we could take in the sights. The overall vibe is lively. Large variety of beers on tap, ciders, wines, and seltzers. My wife and I checked this place out for their beers, which were fantastic, and we grabbed a few apps as well. This place is nicely located on the main strip and is a good stop in while walking the town. The apps we ordered were the pretzel and the chips and salsa. Both were good, not great but good. The rest of the menu are the run of the mill sandwiches and some salads and burgers however, they hang their hat on their beer selection which is very impressive. We opted for the "beer bath" which is a drowning flight of all of their 18 beers on tap. This is alot of beer and deceivingly so. I would recommend sharing this flight. There were alot of great beers to try, Bees Knees, Hefeweizen, Chaude Fontaine, Space Force and Big Dippa were a few of our favorites but so many more great beers that I couldn't remember them all (especially after finishing the flight). As for the staff, our waiter was great but we were upstairs and were the only guests upstairs so it was relatively quiet but it took a little longer (perceptually) to get our food. Superior Bathhouse Brewery is the spot to go if you are visiting Hot Springs, AR. Beers as well as n/a drinks are made with the water from the hot springs. Our group ordered beers as well as the root beer, and enjoyed both. Food offerings are standard and our table ordered sandwiches and salads. We came here for dinner and mostly for the "beer bath" flight during a weekend trip to Hot Springs National Park. The food was decent, the stand out was definitely the spicy elote corn nuggets served with a crema sauce that was incredible. We also got the beer cheese dip and chips and that was ok, would have preferred the dip to be a little thicker and the chips to not look like they were from the bottom of a bag (mostly broken). We wanted to order the steak nachos but they were out of steak so we switched to buffalo chicken nachos on fries instead of chips. The fries were crispy and great and held up to all the toppings. The Buffalo flavor was a little overwhelming for all the different flavors of beer we were trying, but that was why we wanted to order the steak. The beer bath flight was a fun experience, but ultimately there were only about a handful of standouts. Would absolutely get space force, beez neez, and spicy ride again. And sweet nectar of the gods was pretty good too. The service was pretty slow, and while absolutely not Superior's fault, the ambiance was impacted by families who were letting their children run wild and screaming throughout the tables with no consideration for other guests. So good we went twice on our short trip! Definitely recommend the flight with ALL of the beers on it so you can figure out which one you like the best. They are all so good that you might have trouble deciding. They are dog-friendly, which we appreciated on this trip. The location on bathhouse row can't be beat-- you definitely notice you are in the urban national park, in a historic building, in a beautiful setting. The prices are to be expected for a touristy area. Since it is dog and family-friendly, it can be a little noisy/chaotic/involve a bit of a wait, but that's to be expected in this setting. Importantly, all of the employees we encountered were super kind and working really hard to make sure everyone had a great experience. We tried the elote corn bites (fine), the pretzel with beer cheese and horseradish (amazing), steak sandwich (amazing, especially the bread), the waffle fries (the dipping sauce was so good), burger with bacon jam (yum), apple cobbler (yum), and brownie sundae (yum). My spouse and my 2 children under 10yo arrived here 1 hour before closing. The staff were super accommodating and never made us feel like an inconvenience. The service was fast, and the food was delicious. The beers were very good as well. My husband even ordered a growler to-go. The brewery in general was fairly small compared to others I've been too, but the location was great and the fact that it was previously a bath house made this place fairly unique. We loved this stop! The restaurant is located right on bathhouse row in an old bathhouse building, giving the experience a unique and classic feel to it. The service was great - friendly and attentive staff making sure we were taken care of. We didn't drink this time around so we can't say much about the beer but the food was great! We will be trying to recreate the Sweet Potato Salad with chicken for the rest of our life and probably never make it so good (especially the dressing!) The wings were super great and the soft pretzel with beer cheese was up to par with our expectations and hit that craving just right. Only reason it's not 5 stars is similar to other reviews that the indoor space feels really loud with chatter and a little chaotic (i think it's the open floor plan without any sound absorption features).
