Throughout the process, I felt significant pressure to purchase upgraded lenses and laser procedures, with repeated suggestions that the insurance-covered lens would result in poorer outcomes. This made the experience feel more like a sales transaction than a medical consultation about my vision. Following surgery, I have continued to experience persistent blurred and double vision. During follow-up visits, Dr. K attributed these issues to my prior LASIK surgery, however this potential complication or limitation was not discussed with me prior to cataract surgery. What was most disappointing is that, after identifying prior LASIK as the cause, no solution or treatment plan was offered. I was ultimately referred back to my regular eye doctor to obtain glasses, leaving me feeling that my concerns were no longer being addressed by the surgeon who performed the procedure. Cataract surgery is a major medical decision, and patients deserve transparent counseling, balanced recommendations, and continued care when outcomes are not as expected. I'm addressing this comment to those of you who are fearful of having cataract eye surgery. I had eye surgery a little over a year ago and am surprised at what an easy surgery it is. I recently had double surgery for spinal fusion and let me tell you eye surgery is a walk in the park compared to spinal surgery. There is nothing to fear. Dr. K's medical team is top notch and very professional. It seemed like only 5 minutes and I was back in recovery room. So to those that have fear of eye surgery like I did, let me reassure it really is nothing compared to what I now consider serious surgery. After a lot of tests I learned that I'm too farsighted for any kind of laser correction but I could undergo lens replacement. I went through the lens replacement surgery a couple months ago. I went in for a normal eye exam where cataracts were found. I didn't know my sight was so impacted by them. After the surgery I discovered I wasn't seeing colors properly. I thought the recycled paper wasn't white and my baseboards were cream. I was amazed they were white and how green the trees & grass are and how blue the sky is. I now drive without glasses (only need them for reading). The doctor and staff are great and explained everything that was going to happen. My eyesight in now better than my son's. I can see as well as I did in my 20's . I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Blisseye. read more

My primary care physician referred me because I was having an issue with clear mucus in my eyes which was causing my vision to blur. I was there for an hour and a half taking different exams through different pieces of equipment. The doctor told me I had eyelash mites and prescribed me some eye drops that I had been seeing advertised on television and told me to come back in 6 weeks. It did nothing to affect the mucus in my eyes. The second visit a different doctor gave me an eye exam for prescription lenses . I ordered glasses based on the prescription and it was completely wrong , I wound up going to America's Best for an eye exam instead and they nailed it. That was 2025, it is now February of 2026 and a few days ago the condition with my eyes got so bad that I can't even drive . Through independent research and a discussion with a friend of mine, I determined that I have conjunctivitis , which should have been an extremely simple diagnosis for an ophthalmologist worth anything. I had to go on Amazon to get a consultation and prescription because I no longer have medical insurance. Plus I care appears to have spent an enormous amount of money on their offices, which are beautifully decorated , very spacious and tasteful. However, the quality of the care I received was absolutely miserable. Maybe they should focus more on being good eye doctors than spending money on their offices. I cannot recommend them. read more

I wish I could leave a better review because the non-MD staff that I interacted with here were all amazing, but the way I was treated by Dr. Khoshnevis today was completely unacceptable. I was an emergency squeeze in appointment due to an eye injury that hasn't healed properly, which does give them some bonus points (though if you can't afford to squeeze a patient in, don't squeeze them in, it's that simple). I was there for about 90 minutes total, and out of those 90 minutes I saw Dr. Khoshnevis for about 5. The first thing he said to me when he walked into the room was "I shouldn't have squeezed you in today, you're messing up my schedule." Are you kidding me? Before I even introduced myself, you immediately jump to telling me that you don't want to be seeing me now? That's abhorrent. I went to Bliss to get a second opinion after being told by a different doctor this morning that I have an ulcer/scar on my cornea due to a scratch that had gone undetected at the ER and therefore untreated. He looked at both of my eyes for less than a minute total, and insisted there was nothing wrong with my injured eye besides "irritation." I explained to him what the other doctor had said, and he spoke about himself like he was the smartest man in the world and acted like the doctor I had seen this morning was less smart than him. I told him that I'm distrustful of his confusion because he's obviously in a rush based on what he said to me. Instead of apologizing for being so rude, he said "well I don't know what you want from me." I did not get an apology. He refused to look at my eye closer. I will not be coming back to this office nor would I ever recommend that anyone else comes to this office. Either. Dr. Khoshnevis needs a serious ego check. read more

I have been going to Bliss Eye Associates for over 40 years for eye checkups and have purchased many glasses from them - even though they are much more expensive than other frame and lens providers. When I called in Jan to make an appointment I was told there were no openings until June. The reason for this was "drs have been changing schedules and we needed to rebook many appointments" I am retiring in May with insurance changes to occur then and asked if they could somehow get me in before June. The office help was not good and being a loyal customer for 4 decades apparently means nothing to this organization. This operation appears not to value loyalty from its customers. There are lots of other choices out there that value loyal customers. read more

Fortunately, Sarah contacted the manufacturer and found that my eyeglass frame and lens were covered under warranty despite being over 20 month old. Dr. Khoshnevis is a miracle worker. I have been scared of lasik for years but had gotten to -10 in both eyes with slight astigmatism and a history of CSR. I didn't have much hope but went for a consultation. The office staff and technicians were wonderful, and everyone took great care and time to explain the procedures, risks, and financial options. I am so pleased with the care I received..dr k ( as everyone called him) is an excellent surgeon.. my both eyes were done for removal of cataracts one week apart.. I have struggled with wearing glasses for years now. Everyone says get LASIK! I was not a candidate for LASIK but I found Dr Khoshnevis and he gave me my eyesight back. Better than Lasik, I got Prelex surgery with implanted intra-ocular lenses. We did the right eye first and just 3 days after surgery I did not have to rely on my glasses all day. Now that the left eye is completed....WOW!!!!! I got a great recommendation from friends about this place and when I heard that the only available appointment for new clients was 5 months out, I was fine with waiting. I've been very excited to get in to an optometrist as my last one retired. 24 business hours before my appointment I get a call stating that they need to reschedule me. I call back to see the next available appointment and the reason why. They state that it would be 3 months out and it's because the doctor would be coming in 1 hour late that morning. No option to squeeze me in that morning and readjust all patients to find a win-win... They just decided it was easier to drop me. This is so unprofessional. Sometimes things like this are a sign and honestly I'm glad I'm not doing business with people like this. read more

This place is nestled away in a corporate business center close to the movie theaters on Greenback Lane. Forget about dropping in on this place cuz you won't find it unless your looking for it. In addition Bliss is only open one Saturday 9am-3pm per month. Now for the good news, the staff is very friendly and helpful. My eye exam breezed by and the Dr was engaging and caring something you don't always get these days. The selection of glasses very from generics to designers such as Tiffany and Prada but don't fret there are plenty of affordable good looking glasses as well. Selecting glasses was a fairly simple process and the techs are very helpful in this aspect as well describing all of the options available and hopefully what your insurance will cover as well. If this place was open on weekends it would rate five stars. read more
