I am so excited that I found Dr. Willingham's newly opened practice! Not only could they see both my children but they saw 2 NEW PATIENTS same day! I was super impressed with this and even more impressed with the office when I got there. It was very clean & the staff were just so friendly and thorough. Lastly, my review of the provider. I have 2 teenagers and I am thoroughly impressed with her bedside manner, her attention to detail and overall medical abilities. One of my children is a very involved medical case (to say the least) but she was able to pick up on things and get up to speed fairly quickly. She made sure to speak to them and keep them engaged as patients in their own medical care. Anyone who decides to come here will be very happy with the choice & care they receive.

She gladly answered my questions and provided thorough answers. The waiting area has a TV and some toys, books, and coloring material. One side is for "sick" kids so make sure to sit in the right section. The rooms are spacious and clean as was the entire facility. It's located in a building with a church and a CPA office. It looks like a large house so I passed it the first time. I thought my visit was very pleasant so I'll be using them from now on.

Dr. Jeffrey Cooper specifically told us to bring my grandson back if his chest pain returned so he could evaluate him while it was happening. The asthma inhaler he prescribed did NOT relieve the chest pain. We followed his doctor's instructions. My family arrived approximately 10 minutes late, and Susan refused to have him seen, telling us to take him to urgent care instead. A child experiencing chest pain and difficulty breathing was turned away over 10 MINUTES while the waiting room was completely EMPTY. I understand appointment policies. I do NOT understand prioritizing a late-arrival policy over a child's health, especially when HIS DOCTOR TOLD US TO BRING HIM BACK. If you expect your child's primary care provider to be available for more than routine well visits, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. We certainly will be.

Instead of listening, she repeatedly responded as though I were demanding medication even if the tests were negative. She would not listen when I tried to clarify what I was actually asking. The entire interaction was extremely frustrating and unpleasant. How can someone this unprofessional be allowed to care for pediatric patients? She did not even understand the names of my child's medications, repeatedly talked over me, and ignored what I was trying to explain as the patient's parent. She then walked out visibly irritated and proceeded to speak disrespectfully about me to another nurse loudly enough for both my child and me to hear through the open door. This behavior was completely inappropriate, disrespectful, and unacceptable in a pediatric healthcare setting.

It was 7 pm when I looked this up, so I felt I had plenty of time and wasn't going to be one of those butthole customers that show up 5 minutes before closing. We drove 20 minutes in the opposite direction of the er only to see a tiny piece of paper on the door saying "we are closed" another saying "X-ray broken" and another saying "at full capacity" (even though they were closed and there wasn't a car in sight.) It's 2023. Update your website with your hours. There's even an option to indicate it's temporary so patients don't get confused. Don't put "accepts walk ins" in your business plan if you can't take new customers - as indicated by one of many pieces of paper on your glass door. While this thankfully was not an emergency, I indicate that it's 20 minutes in the opposite direction of the er only to illustrate how frustrating it is to drive 40 minutes round trip for nothing. When an up to date online presence would tell any stressed, overwhelmed parent they should just head straight to the er and that 40 minutes could be put toward the long er wait times. I finish this post with a question. If this office can not figure out something as simple as the internet, are they really reliable enough to help you in an urgent situation with your children?
