John has done my nails for several years (since at least 2018) and he always does an amazing job at my manicures AND pedicures. He's strong so if your feet are sore he gives a wonderful foot massage & really gets into your muscles. I am very disappointed with the customer service and how this situation has been handled. I used to come to this nail salon regularly throughout high school, so after moving back to Tulsa, I decided to return. I got an acrylic fill, and about a month later I went to a different salon that had been recommended to me. While removing my polish, the nail technician discovered what appeared to be severe mold and fungal growth underneath my acrylics. She told me it was one of the worst cases she had seen. Because of the condition of my nails, I went to urgent care and purchased the antifungal treatment they recommended. I was leaving the next day for a work trip, so after beginning treatment I had to apply polish/gel to my nails for work. I immediately contacted the salon and provided live photos with timestamps documenting the condition of my nails. Rather than addressing my concerns or issuing a refund, they repeatedly insisted that I return to the salon so they could examine my nails in person. By that point, I had already started treatment and covered my nails because of my work obligations, and I was not comfortable allowing anyone to touch them. It has now been over a week since I first reached out, and despite providing documentation, I still have not received a refund. I wasn't looking to leave a negative review--I simply wanted the situation to be handled fairly. Unfortunately, the lack of accountability and customer service has left me extremely disappointed. Beautiful building, good experience. I personally do not like massage chairs because they hurt me when they grind up in there lol. I kept turning it off... nail stylist kept turning it back on. Also the towels they wrap your legs with are VERY hot. So I asked her to cool mine for a couple seconds before wrapping my legs. Always keep communicating with them... it works better that way. Terrible, just terrible experience. I went in for my 40th birthday as a treat to myself that I don't get to do very often. I just wanted a quick shellac. I ended up being there for 3 and 1/2 hours!!!! The man doing my nails talked me into doing a dip instead of a shellac, he told me it was healthier. I was terribly disappointed. I asked him if he could push back the cuticle a little bit on one of my fingers- he made every cuticle bleed and then charged my card extra for it. I kept telling him I was not happy with the way they were looking and that they were extremely too thick. He said not to worry because he was going to file them down. He kept filing the sides of my nails until it was pain and I kept telling him to stop. When we called over what I'm assuming is the manager that goes by Lee she told me that if I stayed longer she could fix it. I had already been there past what I wanted to be and I was now missing the opportunity for birthday dinner with a friend. I asked her to just refund me that I was upset and this had just ruined my day. I did get a pedicure and I wanted to make sure that she got paid for what she did so I gave them my card to charge for that. They ended up charging my card $137!!!!!! After I drove away I looked at my bank statement and saw what they had charged and I called her back and asked her for a refund on the manicure because I was not happy with it. She told me if I came back the next day she would make it right. I told her I did not want to do that that I would rather just have my money back and cut my losses. She refused. Overnight my nails were in such pain and some of them were swollen. I went back first thing the next morning and ask them to take the nails off because they were so thick they were pulling up my real nail beds causing a lot of pain. She argued with me and said that she would just fix them and didn't want to remove them. I got her to let me soak my hands finally and I ended up scraping off the nails myself. She still did not give me my money back and refused any kind of refund. She only told me that she would give me 50% discount the next time I wanted to come in and that includes my birthday discount. I told her I would fill out reviews if she didn't refund my money because that was not fair to me at all. She never did. I'm terribly disappointed at how they run their business. I would have walked out and not paid had I known they were going to charge my card for full services I did not receive. Shame on them. Terrible business!!! read more

They will tell you they have time and then leave you sitting for over 45 minutes instead of just being honest and up front that they don't have time. They also will tell others as you are waiting that they have time for extra services. If you aren't a regular they don't actually make time for you. read more

i just wanted a white french tip with chrome. i paid $70 and called for a fix because they were horrible. the shape was supposed to be almond... it ended up a weird circle shape, every length was different and every shape on each nail was different. it was very lumpy and just overall looked horrible. i went to get them fixed and they argued over and over about how nothing was wrong. I said okay just take them off but they said no because it hurt their feelings. ended up not taking them off there and just going somewhere new. i could've done better myself. I went to get coffin dip acrylics and they rushed it so badly. The woman kept rushing me to choose a color and it was very stressful. it took her less than 40 mins (usually takes an hour+) she didn't even cut my cuticles or clean the bottom of the nail and I had to ask for cuticle oil. there was so much excess glue that glued my skin to the nail which hurts too. they also hurt because she was very agressive with the file. many of the nails are crooked, I pointed it out to her and she said "oh its fine" and left it crooked. I usually go somewhere else and they are gentle and pay attention to detail but this is the worst set I have ever gotten. read more

I took my mom here, we got 2 pedicures and 2 manicures. The massage during the pedicure was nice, but they didn't start on my moms pedicure until they were almost finished with mine.. So she sat there for more than 30 minutes without being touched. I asked for bubble gum pink nails and toe nails and asked for an acrylic full set & gold on my ring fingers. Somehow I ended up with neon orange toes and Gold glitter chunks on them. I told them that's not what I wanted but the lack of English on their end, they just kept saying okay... Since I had to go into work after, I didn't push it to hard since I was already crunched on time. They had me wait to do my full set until someone else was available. Finally, I get to the table and she told me to pick out dip nail powder, I told her I had already picked out nail polish for an acrylic set - bubble gum pink and gold glitter for my ring fingers. She said they couldn't find the nail polish I picked out and insisted on me picking dip powder (probably because it cost more). I picked a color and told her I didn't want her to Dremel my real nails down, because I don't want them thin. She seemed upset about it... She started with the clear coat and dipping my nails in the powder, but didn't put the clear coat on my full nails, just strips of it here and there causing my nails to be uneven. She made my dip nails wider than my actual nails. I asked her to make them skinny, and she said okay... About 5x. My mom made it over to the table for her nails, and they "lost" her nail polish too, insisting she pick a dip powder. So my mom agreed and finally picked one. She looked at me several times and her nails so I got up to check them and they were all crooked. I told the woman who did hers to file them down on one side. The woman told me mom several times to hold still and squeezed her hand, but my mom has restless legs so its next impossible. My mom was so embarrassed and ready to cry because of how she was treated. When it came time to pay the $146 ticket, I did not leave a tip. When i signed the ticket with $0 tip, the woman started talking really loud to the employees in another language. Neither my toes or my fingers were what I asked for. When I told them multiple times what I wanted, they just said okay. My mom was treated like a child, and seen last. They were mean about a condition she can't help. I am still shocked at how unprofessional they are and will not be returning. I ended up going to Posh nail salon the ext day and getting my toes painted the color I wanted and my nails filed down for another $30. I do not recommend going here, Save your time, your money, and spare your feelings if you can't "sit still" enough for them. read more

I have never been so disappointed...yesterday, I went in for a pedicure & fills. My regular nail tech, Kim, is on vacation, so it took two (2) other people to fulfill my request for a pedicure & fills. First, a lady did my pedicure. I thought she knew what she was doing, so I laid back & relaxed in the chair. My toes looked awful...looked like my grandson polished my toes! I could see both sides of my toe nails. I want my whole toe nail polished, not just the top. Also, the toe nails weren't even cut evenly...looked like I had two totally different feet! I'm not kidding...it was the worst pedicure I have ever received. The girl doing them should not be allowed to do pedicures. They had few customers, so I think she should have taken more time & looked at what she was doing. After the pedicure, she hands me off to yet another nail tech for fills on my finger nails. He does a satisfactory job, but he is no "Kim". He is, however, nice enough to redo the nail polish job on my toes. He also re-clipped my uneven toe nails. Meanwhile the girl who originally did my pedicure was whispering to her co-worker...she wouldn't/couldn't even look at me. I spent $80.00 in there & will not be back until Kim returns from vacation. Kim is an excellent nail tech. She is kind & patient & always does a great job with my nails. I only wish all nail techs were the same, but, they are NOT!! I would like to speak with the owner of the salon & show them my toe nails & my finger nails. Now, I have to just wait & wear this mess for two weeks. It seems to me that nail salons are like restaurants...great, at first, then slowly go down hill until they are out of business. Please read this review & speak with the nail tech that did my pedicure. Maybe $80.00 is not a lot of money to you, but it is to me. Getting my nails filled & a pedicure is is a luxury for me that I enjoy & appreciate when done properly. I am sorely disappointed with the service I received & may need to find a new salon...I hear "Johnny's" is an excellent salon! My star rating is based on this one day experience.
