When I politely asked how much longer it would be, her response was snippy and unprofessional. She even asked, "Why? Do you have somewhere else you need to be?" I explained that I had another appointment and would need to call and push it back. Her only response was an annoyed sigh. I had to decline an originally planned part of my service because the new product (an only option) used has something I'm allergic to in it. Throughout the service, she barely spoke to me and only offered to count down halfway through the wax appointment. It was more painful than usual and felt very rushed. Her overall demeanor made me feel like she was annoyed to be there--or at least annoyed to be working with me. To make matters worse, it has been two days since my appointment and I have not received any follow-up survey, which is usually standard. This is not the level of professionalism I expect, and it made the entire visit uncomfortable. I doubt I will return to this establishment and will definitely decline service from this technician.

Kim, is wonderful!…read more It was my first time to visit, and it will not be my last. For the past year, I had been getting the sugar wax, and felt it was the best choice. I had been doing a bit of research and decided to try a wax Brazilian. Waxing - Some ladies mentioned waxing did not get all of the hair, I had the same issue. Now, with saying that, it was in a place that can be easily removed with using a razor. If I were to guess, in my case, .02% of my hair remained. It was easy to shave it and go on about my day. I will mention that spot next time, so it will not be missed. Sugaring - It removes all of the hair. With sugaring, as Kim explained, you can go over the same spots, multiple times. Waxing, you can only go over the skin maybe one to three times, any more than that, can damage the skin. Overall, even with the tad bit of hair that's left behind, I'm still a happy customer. Kim was very personable, informative from the moment I met her, and was great to chat with during the process. The front desk receptionist, was wonderful. We chatted about my upcoming trip to NY, and she was able to share some of her NY favorites. Thank you ladies, you were exceptional! *Side note: My opinion, I believe the wax was less painful, than the sugaring.

I would highly recommend her for any service, however I do only get my Brazilian done. Faith is fantastic, she is great at conversation and making you feel comfortable. She pays attention to detail and I love getting to chit chat with her. Overall this EWC location is very nice, friendly, clean, and responsive if you need to reschedule or anything like that.

Continuing from my recently edited review on 7/2/24:…read more Then she said that I could be seeing the lines because I'm sleeping on my left side (because SHE noticed her "11's" being more pronounced when she slept on her left side). Not once did she ask which side I sleep on (it's not my left!), so it frustrated me that she felt okay to make that assumption. She kept insisting that the line isn't visible, AS I WAS POINTING IT OUT TO HER WHILE HOLDING A MIRROR! She then leaned back against one of the counters and said I had 2 options. First, she said there wasn't anything she could do and that I just had to let it be. Then she said I could spend money to buy additional units to inject, but she didn't seem like she was interested in truly helping me figure out a reasonable solution to an issue that was created by a service from their medspa. I left feeling like I'd wasted my time (and lunch hour), was pretty much dismissed and made to feel unheard. Ironically, if I had actually felt like she was hearing what I had repeatedly tried to convey and suggested that the issue might be resolved with the purchase of a few additional units I would have gladly paid for it. Instead, she tried to make me feel like my concerns were not valid and then showed absolutely ZERO concern that I was leaving their facility more frustrated and without a solution. They (including the ladies at the reception area) seemed more concerned about getting out of there since they will be closed for the rest of the week for the July 4th holiday. Maybe other clients have just had the good fortune of having better experiences and better people to provide their services to them. This just doesn't happen to be the case for me. Obviously, this isn't the right medspa for me or for my needs/concerns.
