Terrible service. The moment I got done they left me and got on their phones. I asked for a simple chrome nail and they completely messed it up. My nails were bumpy and very uneven. The vibe was ok if you like Greek style places. I left that salon with leftover gel and glitter all over my hands. Located in the high end shopping area Southlake you'll find Venetian Nail Spa. They have a large amount of spa chairs and manicure stations. Music is piped through the surround sound speakers while HGTV plays on the big screens. Beverly is my nail tech giving the best pedicure I have ever had! She does the proper clean up which so many nail tech do not do. Not only is she good at her job, she is an adorable Philippine beauty. I was in the area and in desperate need of a pedicure and a manicure. Stumbled upon the Yelp reviews for this place so figured I'd give it a try! I'm so happy that I did! I absolutely love how my nails turned out. My pedicure was done by Jon. I got white polish for my toes. He did a great job! Amy did my nails (dip). She listened to exactly what I wanted which was white polish to match my toes with gold glitter ombré on the ends. I love love love the way they turned out!!! Overall, I had a great experience. They get the job done! Love splurging! I got the vocanlo Mani. I requested some cool art I found on Pinterest and they delivered! Hands needed all the nip tucking, it was long over due! The massage part of the package was a waste of time, because I don't need someone rubbing my neck and shoulders unless you're really digging into my muscles. So that part was more is an afterthought.... However the complimentary wine and water made up for it. I also would have preferred some music, the TVs were on, and every time a commercial would play.... It would take me out of the spa vibe! Little things, but not enough to keep me away! Previously had a great experience at this salon. First time visit under the new management and was disappointed with my manicure. Nail color selection was very rushed and they were not busy. They did not soak or clip cuticles but went straight in to the dip polish. The application was sloppy. I left with nail dip stains on my fingers and my friend had clumpy appearance and application. I was so excited when I came across this establishment because of the surrounding stores and it's nice ascetics. Upon entering I was so drawn to the Managers energy & I was like "oh Yeah I've found my new spot"! Past disappointments has taught me to start with the basics and allow that to gage what services I will or won't get going forward. So my mani/pedi was not offered as a combo and I purchased them separately. The only instructions I offered my manicurist was to please keep my length. I've been growing out my nails and I was so proud of my progress. She immediately went to filing and I quickly told her... I don't have gel on my nails. It's only nail strengthener. Long story short... my nails are 1/2 the length and one is shaped crooked. She only put 1 coat of clear!!! No base nor top coats.-( then walked away. No drying mechanism nothing. Just walked away. My pedicurist worked with me to give me what I asked for which was to get the dead skin off my big toes. This process only required a pumas stone. My right big toe nail is point to far right which makes my big toe look a little deformed. But this is y I'm NEVER going back... when she did the massage on my calf and feet with the sugar scrub she politely instructed me to place my feet back in that dirty water and then proceeded to wash away the sugar with that dirty water. I was in shock and am now convinced that is the reason y my pink toe feels like she has athletes foot. My 3 stars stems from how well both of them executed the removal of my cuticle beds. The fact that the Manager offered me something to drink then later seconds, how I was so drawn to her as I secretly wondered if she did nails and how good at it she probably is. I also appreciated how I received both my mani and pedi simultaneously even if they didn't offer a combo deal. This is the saddest review I've ever written because I was sure I had found my new nail salon. Good luck to You if you don't heed this warning and remember... if you see they don't drain the water before your massage be sure to request it because they have every intention on using dirty water on your freshly scrubbed skin. read more

My wife has come to this salon regularly since the new ownership. I think they took over 6-8 months ago. Today was my first time. I booked a mani-pedi with all the extras. While many salons offer massage chairs, these are a cut above most. The salon was immaculate and very comfortable. The manicurists were all very professional. My manicure was excellent and my pedicure was probably the best I've ever had. No question that I will only come here from now own. Light years ahead of the old ownership. read more

Unfortunately the tech who did my pedicure during my first visit rushed through, cut my nails way too short (without asking me) & cut my cuticles at the very end because I asked her if she had missed that step. My toes looked awful afterwards and I was in pain for a couple of days. I contacted the salon when I got home & will admit that their manager is extremely kind and professional. I returned 2-3 weeks later to try their service again (free pedicure) and had a great experience with my toes however the tech who did my hands this time did a terrible job and hurt my fingers several times. Used to be a repeat customer for a basic pedicure with callus treatment. This time it hurt when the nail tech was trimming my cuticles, and she did not scrub my calluses much and they were still very much there. When I pointed it out they tried to say it was because I did not get pedicures often (I'm a repeat customer every 3-4 weeks). They agreed to rescrub but did not put lotion on after, when I asked for it they added cuticle oil (hate the feeling of oil on my feet). There was also supposed to be a massage that was extremely short and they did not set a timer. Supposed to be a relaxing experience, which it wasn't. read more

I don't often do anything for myself, so I was really looking forward to a nice manicure/pedicure. I was not expecting to get loudly scolded for not understanding what his non verbal cues were as he was pushing my feet. I put them in the wrong place apparently. I understand that could be frustrating but not to the point that you yell at a paying customer. It was loud enough that everyone around us stopped what they were doing to stare and it was honestly humiliating. He also gave me an infection on the side of my toe. You can expect personal and real connection, and by the time you leave, you'll be excited about your next visit. It's clear management takes careful consideration of who they hire as technicians. Liz and Jay stop to ask exactly what you want, are detail oriented, and create a relaxing environment. I would highly recommend either of these technicians; however, each one of their staff members operate in this standard of excellence. The quality of their salon and products is 5 out of 5 stars as well. The salon smells great and is super clean! All of the ingredients they use for pedicures smell incredible and feel great. My cuticles were absolutely destroyed on 3 fingers and would not stop bleeding. Hours later still in pain. I asked if there was anything that could be done since they were ruined and they offered a 20% discount, to redo them (which would be pointless as my cuticles were destroyed), or to take off the polish (which wasn't even the issue). Overall they did a really nice job. The acrylics came out nice but the color was a bit uneven. It could just be how dip comes out sometimes though. My main complaint is that the woman who did my feet really went hard on my callouses. I am a runner and admit they're not the prettiest but it was to the point of my feet being raw and honestly hurting during the treatment. I usually love this nail salon, but the quality of work has significantly gone down recently. I got my nails done and the gentleman (Jason) who was doing my nails asked me to get up and wash my hands after he finished with my NeXgen. My cuticles were dark and had polish around the entire nail and I assumed be would remove it. When he told me I was finished I asked him if he remove the polish he got on my cuticleS and he said no, and that I would have to shower multiple times to remove it. He also pressed too hardly against my thumb nail when he was rubbing the oil on it, and it left an indention on my thumb. I asked him to fix it and he told me he would have to start from the beginning to fix his error. I understand they are in a rush to get another Costumer right after but they have to make sure the current costumer is happy first. read more

Im from out of town and wanted to treat myself to a pedicure since I have 2 young children and not much alone time. Picked this place since there was a lot of walking distance shopping and the salon was beautiful. I chose the signature pedicure with gel and Im extremely disappointed. First the water was boiling hot and when I mentioned it all she said was "Oh." The whole service felt half assed to be honest. Barely any rubbing of the exfoliating scrub, which I embarrassing desperately needed. But the biggest let down from this whole experience was the massage.. Like I said I have 2 children and was so looking forward to an amazing massage. The signature massage says in the description "extended foot and leg massage" well.... All I got was a measly rubbing of the lotion for probably 3 minutes each foot (and thats being generous) then she proceeded to wipe away all the excess lotion that was left and there was a lot! Im sooo disappointed in this whole experience and feel like I wasted my money. To be honest I didnt even tip because I was so let down and I feel horrible but 73$ for the pedicure alone was too much for what I received. Now Im going to have to go spend more money on what I actually needed read more

Sad to say because I've been to the Venetian in many other parts of Texas. This spot particularly was not my favorite. The ladies working on my cousins were fantastic and we're very friendly, but my lady was younger and very quiet. I tried to engage in conversation, but nothing. I requested my nails be square round with french but the french had bubbles and cracks by the time they were done. I pushed on one of the bubbles because they were "dry" but the white nail polish oozed out. I let the lady know but she kinda rolled her eyes and gave me bad vibes. I say it's okay because my cousins had great ladies and the ambience was fantastic. When my nails were finished, I saw a few nails missing white in the corners but left it at that. read more
