They were able to fit me and 2 other people into the schedule since we had family visiting from out of town. I had the Swedish 1 hour massage with hot stone add-on. My partner and I were here for a couples massage for our first visit. The actual massage was great - he said it was one of the best he's ever had. We both agreed our masseurs were above average and knew what they were doing. Our issues were with the massage atmosphere and lack of ambiance. The room was pretty bright for a massage. When we laid on our backs we both were facing lights, which was not ideal. No music or sounds were playing as background noise. Because of this, we heard EVERYTHING happening outside of our room. This was literally the worst experience I've ever had here. First they talked in a different language the whole 60 minute massage which me and my husband were celebrating our anniversary. How can you relax? It was some situation going on when we first got to the back the lady kept walking away from my massage which left me cold smh. Finally when it's time to leave she demands a 15% tips while still holding my card. I say no she ask if I'm tipping in cash I say no she slaps my card down. They have several items on their menu that they don't *actually* offer. I wanted a Swedish massage and even though it's on their massage brochure they had no idea what it was lol I ended up getting half foot/half body acupressure instead. The workers are all Chinese and barely speak English so there was a lot of pointing and body language to get my point across. I wish they used a little more pressure on my body, but that's just a personal preference. As far as foot massages go, it was really good, but body was was less than mediocre, it wasn't relaxing and he didn't work out any of my knots, I just felt like he was pressing/rubbing my body rather than massaging. I came from Maryland to visit my son in Cleveland. I've had massages in many other states in the time I've lived here in the US. But I have never had a massage as wonderful as this place! This is the best massage I have ever had. Jack was very good with the pressure and made sure to ask if it was okay for me. He made me feel very comfortable and very relaxed. I popped in here for a quick massage while on a business trip. I was greeted immediately and led to a massage chair where my feet were put in comfortably hot water and relaxing music played in the background. I got the combo massage (body and feet) and the foot portion was excellent - not too rough/hard like many places are, but still firm enough to feel like you got a massage. While the body part of the massage was not as extensive, it was very good. I would have given a little more time to the body and a little less to the foot portion, but overall it was a great experience and worth the price. I've been back since a few times and always get a full body massage with May - she's the best in Cleveland! I have had very good experiences since coming back each time with May, but the only gripe I have is I don't feel they do enough promotions, coupons, etc to cut the customer a deal and make it more affordable to come more often and increase their business. In Seattle, these massage are literally half the price. This place does have a customer loyalty card that after paying for 12 massages ($720), then they will give you one free. This is the first time I've been when they had another promotion going on; if you write a review on Yelp they will discount your service $10. But don't get your hopes up and expect to get a stamp for your loyalty card; they informed me only after getting the discount that if they take even $0.01 off, it does not count towards the loyalty. If you are looking for a traditional "signature" massage, do NOT go here. $90 for 90 minutes sounds like a good deal. "The relaxing treatment begins by soaking the feet in a warm water foot bath, followed by a massage of the head, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, feet and back". However, the first 60 minutes is spent almost entirely on your feet. And if you are wearing skinny jeans that don't roll up (because who would think this would matter-since you usually change for a massage) it will significantly cut down on the enjoyment of the foot soak/rub. The last 30 minute "massage" is done fully clothed. All 90 minutes is in a chair. What a disappointment. read more

Had a great 60 minute foot soak and massage with acupressure combination. It was a treat. It was my first time visiting. I wish that the therapist had explained what she was doing. Things like "I'm going to put a towel over your eyes now" or let me know if the pressure is too much would improve the experience. She only spoke once to tell me to turn over. I went for the first time today with my friend. We both got the 90 minute Reflexology and Acupressure Combo. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. They took us back right on time for our appointment. Enjoyed a hot foot soak followed by a relaxing massage of our feet, legs, arms, hands, neck, shoulders and back. They even used a hot stone at the end of our leg and foot massage. I had never had a hot stone massage before but it felt amazing!!! I was very impressed with the service. Massage can be good, but it needs to come from a masseuse who is a giver, who besides wanting to make money, also thinks of her client and wants the client to experience relaxation and relief. This massage parlor is just about making money and it has not concept about client satisfaction. No privacy, loud, not in tune, lacking in any common graces, or understanding about serving the client. It is just unacceptable for their prices. And forget about doing a quickie massage. They will be mad at you the entire time and DEMAND a tip at the end. Well, maybe its because "tip" is the only word they know in English. I felt anger, irritation, total lack of connect to the client, or care coming from them. Their only goal is money. Oh ye, the massage was really good, but kind of rough at times. My sister and I went in to relax and just be together. First of all, the masseuse's did not speak any English. I had a woman and my sister had a guy. The woman was ok but the man was horrendous. My sister kept telling him to go lighter and it seemed he was going harder and harder. The girl who was doing my massage told the guy also to go lighter and he wouldn't. My sister can take a hard massage but this was way too much for even her. She was making horrible noises and telling him to stop. She tried to get up several times but her did not understand. We just got home and my sister feels like she has a broken rib from him pushing too hard. She is very nauseous and feels miserable. I called the place and spoke with the girl at the front desk who is American and all she could do was apologize. She should have credited my sister's credit card. So I've been coming here for years and the previous visit will be my last one. It pains me to write this review because I've been a loyal customer but what ended it for me was the one lady who works there. She was angry for whatever reason and the massage was super rough. I felt like a punching bag and at one point I was holding my breath and just wanted the massage to be over even though I kept saying "lighter pressure" it was just not relaxing. At one point, my arm was dangling off the side of the table and she THREW it back furiously for no reason instead of just gently placing it to my side. Why so rough and angry lady? My husband treated me for my birthday and this truly was THE MOST AMAZING massage I have ever received! Silly me thought I was just getting a "Foot Massage" hence the name "Blissful Foot Spa", however he (David) also massaged my calves, arms, back, shoulders, head, and yes my derriere, applying pressure points along the way, he then gently pulled on my legs applying slight traction to align my spine and did something similar with my arms. I am telling you I was in HEAVEN! I left very relaxed and energized. The atmosphere in this place is really relaxing, I love the beautiful Chinese decor, and the music they play during your service and that is about it! My husband got me a gift certificate to come here for any signature treatment they provided. When I handed the man sitting at the front desk the gift certificate, he seemed as if he didn't know what I was asking for or what I was handing him. I kept an open mind trying to not get offended, and proceeded to the next room where I was set up for a acupressure and reflexology combo. I would not recommend anyone come here after the service I got! The foot soak was cold, and the woman doing my massage was really rough with me. In fact she was so rough with me during the massage my feet are sore 2 days later! After finishing up my service I thanked the woman and proceeded to leave the spa she stops me at the door as if I haven't paid, my husband gave me the receipt upon giving me the gift certificate in case I ran into a problem like this, the woman could not find the gift certificate I gave to the man sitting at the desk when I walked in. She looked over the receipt, then tells me that I need to tip her...Ive worked as a cosmetologist and I know proper massage techniques and etiquette in a spa and the customer service here was horrible! When I made an appointment at Blissful Foot Spa, I had no idea what I would receive. I arrived and they took me right in. The man, Andy, did a thorough job in everything that he did. He started by putting my feet in warm water, then he massaged my face and my head and my neck. Then he massaged my feet. It was the most wonderful thing that I have ever experienced. Then he had me turn over and he massaged my back and my body thoroughly. I had been having back problems and he applied just the right amount of pressure. Nothing was said the entire time, except the directions that he gave me. He was very kind and he was fabulous. I would think that this kind of a job is very difficult to do but he did it with ease. I am going to try to get there each month. It is well worth the $60.00 and do not forget to tip. I cannot imagine all the energy it takes to do this to people all day. He was wonderful and if you need to feel better, you should call and ask for Andy immediately. After my spa treatment, I went to the gym and ran my best time for three miles. Nothing in my body was paining me. The place is wonderful and anybody that has given this place a negative response is insane. This place is wonderful. The people working there are great and very professional. I recommend this spa on Chagrin Blvd. I cannot say enough good things about it.
