Last year my husband and I started trying for a baby. We got pregnant right away but unfortunately it was too good to be true. After a few hard weeks and no explanation from my doctor besides it just happens, I decided to have a few basic fertility tests done because of my age. After those came back clear the fertility specialist said to try one more time on our own before she started me on fertility drugs and because of my age 39, she suggested we be aggressive with the drugs. Not wanting to do that, I decided to try acupuncture first. A lot of people I've met use acupuncture as a last resort to help with fertility but I decided to flip it and take a more holistic approach to getting my body prepared for a pregnancy. My husband agreed to go with me and we met with Anne for a consultation. I instantly loved her for her no non-sense approach, she doesn't sugarcoat anything and gives it to you straight, which I truly appreciate. During our consultation she went through all of my lab work and tests from my doctors, explained and pointed out the good things and what we needed to work on that could've led to the miscarriage. This is something neither my OBGYN or fertility specialist did. We also went through my diet, she made suggestions on things to eat and supplements to take. She really educated my husband and I on what to do to help get our body's in the best shape possible to conceive. After getting a few things in place, I did three months of acupuncture with her, once a week. She recommended after three months that we start trying and on our first try we were lucky enough to conceive! I am just starting my 2nd trimester and so far so good. It is hard to put into words just how much Anne has helped me. My husband and I have had a very tumultuous fertility journey, but she made the end of that journey easy and smooth. I only wish we would have found her earlier! After many years of infertility treatments, and multiple rounds of IVF to make and bank embryos, we were finally at the last step - embryo transfer. It is at that time I decided to contact a specialist to help ensure my uterine lining was perfect. And that's when I found Anne. From the first appointment, I knew that she was a perfect fit - knowledgeable, dedicated, passionate, and patient-focused. The intake appointment was a couple hours long! She wanted the full, detailed story and all the information in order to make a proper "diagnosis" and decide the best course of action for treatment. It was so incredibly refreshing. After that, we developed a plan of attack. She asked for a calendar and was able to review everything and added her suggestions along with her acupuncture sessions. Throughout the process, I had access to her at any time of day! She is always available to answer questions via text or a phone call. I have never had anyone so dedicated to their job and their patients in my entire fertility journey...and I have been to multiple clinics and have seen many doctors. My lining looked amazing for our embryo transfers, and Anne was so reassuring and confident throughout the process! If I could give 0 stars, I would. Anne has the WORST bedside manner I've ever had to deal with. I've been going through infertility issues for almost four years, been to multiple clinics in multiple states, and am fully aware of my condition and exactly why I cannot conceive. My husband and I decided to move forward with an egg donor, but figured we'd seek one more option while waiting to save for egg donation, which is why we reached out to Anne. After providing my medical history and exchanging a few emails, I asked how to move forward and this is the response I received: "Its pretty clear you need a lot more information before I'd ge willibg to work with you. You really dont have a clue and if you dont get smart about this quickly, it will break you. I'm going to tell you the truth and not sugar coat anything. Your AMH is already very low. You need to respect the labs and act on them." My jaw dropped to the floor when I read this. I went into exploring acupuncture hoping for a positive outcome, but just got a slap in the face. I came to Anne hoping for relief from shoulder pain (desk job). From the moment I walked in, Anne was warm and friendly. Extremely knowledgeable about anatomy and how/why I was in pain. I highly recommend Anne if your wanting to try a more natural approach to healing your infertility naturally. My husband and I were diagnosed with unexplained infertility in 2016 and we went through a miscarriage, 3 IUI's and 1 failed IVF in 2 years. I felt defeated, mentally and emotionally drained, and did not enjoy the medicine that I was on so I decided to research a more natural approach, that is when I found Anne. My husband and I met her and we hit it off. She is very warm, caring, funny and supportive. She truly made us feel at ease. I owe such a huge gratitude of thanks to Anne Kinchen in helping me achieve my very first pregnancy, naturally, after 2 years of infertility. I had been receiving acupuncture at another hospital associated care provider prior to Anne and was seeing good improvements in my cycle overall, but I never fell pregnant. While Anne has a lot of good knowledge and certainly knows her stuff but her attitude is terrible. When dealing with infertility patients, she is quite negative and doesn't promote positivity which is vital when dealing with such an emotional issue. She has a know it all attitude and doesn't know how her words affect people. The infertility circle is small around town and there are many people and practitioners that have had a negative experience with Anne. She has lost many, many patients and I wonder if she even knows why. There are many practitioners in town that can help you and they are much kinder. read more

Ann Kinchen saved my pregnancy. I was seeing her for knee pain, but also happened to be pregnant. I was experiencing some bleeding and cramping and mentioned it to Ann. She urged me to get several blood tests done, and sure enough I was extremely progesterone deficient. Even though I had some trouble conceiving my second son and went into preterm labor with my first son, no one had ever talked to me about progesterone deficiency. I should start this review by saying we welcomed a beautiful, healthy, happy baby boy into this world in June 2017...that is the most important part of this paragraph!!! I sought Anne's assistance in June of 2016, after my aunt recommended her. Before "actively trying" to get pregnant I took a very proactive approach and began by spending the previous year getting my body prepared (I was 38 at the time and delivered my baby three weeks before I turned 40). I emailed Anne and set up a fertility consultation appointment, since I live in Vegas but was visiting family in Ohio, and sent her all my bloodwork before we met. We reviewed all my information at the consult appointment with NO acupuncture, because I live out of town. She suggested additional bloodwork to be done by my primary physician, added additional supplements, directed me to stop drinking, etc. I then went home and followed her instructions, implemented her suggestions, and four months later successfully became pregnant. I followed up with her occasionally throughout the pregnancy and sought her advice regarding labor/delivery as well. I can honestly say she possesses a wealth of knowledge and goes above and beyond to help her clients!
