    Ice cream

TLDR - huge variety of flavors! Large portions! Sit outdoors on a nice day, friendly staff I love summer nights because I can enjoy my evening outside with a large scoop of ice cream. This place is a cute neighborhood shop that has all of your classic ice cream and Italian ice flavors and a few surprise flavors as well. You can also choose to pick up ice cream cakes, milk shakes, sundaes, banana splits and top them with any topping you could imagine. I got the small scoop and they really load up on their scoops! I picked 2 flavors, dunken cookie because I love coffee and s'mores because I love a graham cracker crunch. Dunken cookie had a good medium bodied coffee flavor and S'mores had plenty of graham cracker crumbles and chocolate chips throughout. I'll be coming back to try out more flavors! Their ice cream sandwiches look so good too! Today I really wished I had multiple stomachs!

My boyfriend suggested this place when we went out for ice cream recently. The shop was really busy when we went which is expected on a nice day. They had a variety of flavors but I kept it simple and went with vanilla soft served with rainbow sprinkles. The ice cream was good. I'll try something different during my next visit. They had plenty of tables and seating outside.

I have been here a few times for ice cream and it is usually really good. I enjoy the soft serve from here because it's a really nice creamy texture. When I've tried the hard scoop ice creams, most of them have been good. I had one that felt like it was a little freezer burned with some ice chunks in it, although it tasted fine. There are a ton of flavors to choose from which is nice. Pretty much something for everyone. If you are coming here on a weekend when it's hot, expect to wait for a bit to order and get your ice cream. There is a good amount of outdoor seating and parking on the premise. It is located on a busier road though so it's not always the best place to stay and hang out due to passing cars.

First time trying this place and definitely my last . Although the girls working were friendly I can't say much for the ice cream . I ordered a scoop of cappuccino crunch and toffee neither of them tasted like it. Absolutely no coffee taste at all for the cappuccino and the toffee I only tasted the chocolate pieces inside . I don't know if I was given the wrong scoops of ice cream but the flavor factors weren't there and I could taste that freezer burn taste in the ice cream which made us less appealing to eat. My daughter ordered the mango ice which was decent .

Vanilla soft serve. Sooo smooth !

I have been wanting to try this place since moving down to Piscataway. It just looks like your unpretentious neighborhood ice cream shoppe. It's nothing fancy inside but the ice cream is the star! So many different flavors of "hard" and "soft" ice cream. They also have sorbets/ices. My husband ordered the espresso soft serve and I opted for your good old fashioned vanilla soft serve. The texture was sooo smooth and the ice cream itself was thick and creamy. It's not like other soft serves that melt as soon as you start holding it. I was really impressed with their soft ice cream. I need to come back and try more stuff. They have home made ice cream sandwiches and ice cream cakes in the freezer. Gotta give those a shot some time this summer. Pricing is totally reasonable. They accept cash or credit. They have a private parking lot. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, great local spot!!!

I ordered a small cone of vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. Pretty good ice cream. Minimum cc transaction of 5$ or else you must pay cash. I would recommend this spot if you're looking for something cool on a hot day

The rich, creamy texture combined with the robust flavor of rum and the sweet, chewy raisins created a delightful symphony of taste and texture. My companion opted for a strawberry ice cream shake. While it was well-prepared, the flavor didn't quite resonate with me, as strawberry isn't my preferred choice. However, for those who enjoy a classic strawberry shake, it would likely be a satisfying option. I am eager to return for another serving of the Rum & Raisin ice cream. Next time, I plan to enhance the experience by adding a sprinkle of walnuts or hazelnuts, introducing a delightful crunch that would complement the smooth, rich base. Great service and they have few outdoor benches as well to enjoy your ice cream.

Best soft serve I have ever had!!!…read more Honestly... I can't say enough good things about this place. To say I was pleasantly surprised I'd an understatement. I got a soft serve swirl with cookie dough bites and it was delicious. The ice cream is perfectly creamy, and the vanilla had an almost marshmallow-y taste to it. It also sort of reminded me of the cream inside an Oreo. Perfectly balanced between creamy and cold- it didn't taste watered down or too "Icy". My mom and my 16 month old also agreed. (Ok, my mom agreed. My son was a fan but he doesn't quite understand just how good it was yet.) My son didn't finish his, so we brought it back with us to upstate NY. Yes, it was good enough to save in the freezer at our hotel and then to shlep back home so I could enjoy one more time. And also so my husband could try it since I couldn't stop raving about it. Also worth noting- I'm very impressed at their variety. They have lots of soft serve and hard ice cream flavors. I hope I have another work trip that brings me back, cause I will be dreaming of this ice cream until then!

A Sweet Surprise in Dunellen!…read more After living in the area for over 20 years, I finally stopped by this local ice cream shop--and I'm honestly blown away. I've visited twice now and each time has been better than the last. The shop is under new ownership, and Mike (the new owner) is awesome. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and clearly passionate about making this place special. You can feel the good vibes as soon as you walk in. I've never really been into Italian ice, but this place completely changed my mind. The flavors are bold and refreshing--Cappuccino and Mudslide are my personal favorites. Rich, smooth, and packed with flavor. And here's the cherry on top: they welcome your furry friends and even offer a complimentary pup cup to go. Both my dogs were very happy--and let's be honest, that made me even happier. I was too busy enjoying the Italian ice to snap a photo of it (it was that good), but I did grab a pic of the pup cups--because happy dogs deserve the spotlight too! If you're in or around Dunellen, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Great treats, great people, and a super welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!
