The owner/manager was sitting in a chair with all types of hair clips and took about 10 mins to tell me it'll just be a minute. I did have an appointment! Then I got truly the worst hair wash of my life. Tried to explain to the girl that my hair gets knotty easily. Just said no speak English. She ROUGHLY, and I mean ROUGHLY washed my hair. Some strands were pulled out! My hair became one big knotted mess. Then I had to awkwardly lift my head for a solid 15 mins for her to try and use a comb. It was terrible, I truly have less hair than when I walked in. The blow dry was alright. She did not put a single product in it. I asked for curls which was an extra fee. She also did not even try to speak to me. She just spoke w the owner and other hair dressers as well. When it was time to pay I was not told there would be a credit card fee! I also asked for change for a 10 but they had no singles. Very convenient. Overall I've had a better blow out in the Rockland/Bergen area. Even at super cuts!

Entered the salon and was welcomed warmly. Prior to my cut the stylist did not ask for reference…read morepictures. Had to ask the stylist if she'd like to see reference photos prior to starting. Asked her if she could tell what the previous stylist did and she said yes. Told her "perfect, please just mimic that and cut off 1.5-2 inches" During the cut the stylist never adjusted my middle part to make sure everything was center prior to cutting. Didn't question it since she said she was from a very famous high end salon close to NYC and had been a stylist since 2009. The end shape was kinda like the photos so I didn't say anything at the time. The next night after I washed my hair I noticed a section of hair that was longer than it should have been. Brushed it off but then kept thinking how the stylist never checked to make sure her cuts/layers were even. Checked to see if things were even tonight and was horrified. The front of the cut is definitely not even. Can't speak to the back since that's not easy for me to see. Highly disappointed bc I went with a stylist that was highly reviewed on their appointment booking app.
