The two girls that did our hair were Micaela and Sarah, and Kaitlin did our makeup. All of the girls were more than satisfied with how their hair turned out. Sarah did some great braid work on two of us, and her and Micaela helped to put flowers all over our hair. That part wasn't planned, but they went with the flow and everyone looked great. Kaitlin's makeup looked excellent on everyone, even the girls who were reluctant to get it done for fear of it being too heavy or just not their style. I'd highly recommend them for whatever you need! One piece of advice would be to bring cash since the hair, makeup, and nail services are all separate and have to be paid for as such.

They lost all their records (hard to believe) they couldn't even look back at the past billings to get a clue as to what I was having done. I really liked the new stylist, so it was no fault of hers. But I won't be back. I was told it would cost less for a lower level stylist. it was more! Probably because I didn't get the same treatments. I won't be back. I am loving this space and how bright, airy, industrial but modern but retro all in one it is. Cohoes is super easy to get to for me. I parked right out front. Now, the important part, the hair: it's SO GREAT! Jess just knows what she's doing. I gave her buzz words: BLONDE but keep it healthy and easy to maintain. I flat out told her I wasn't planning to come in for months and I pretty much refuse to style it ever so it'd need to look good with just a solid hairbrushing every now and then. I left the details up to her and let her do her thing and the results truly blew me away! I was nervous leading up to this appointment because I was a previous bleach-a-holic and am SO PROUD of the condition I was able to get my hair in by simply leaving it alone. Two and a half weeks and a handful of washes later and it still looks and feels great! Everyone has been absolutely losing their minds at my new look but, most importantly, I love it and feel like a different, more confident person. I cannot recommend Jess enough! She is such a genuine, thoughtful person who I end up telling my entire life story to while in her chair. I can't imagine ever seeing someone else, so hoping we grow old and blonde together!

They were originally located off of Rt 9 near a friend I was staying with in Cohoes, and they just happened to move to Malta where I was heading when my apartment finally became available. (2 months late. But I digress-),they were welcoming and I was so lucky to find a stylist on the first try who listened to me about what I wanted, how my hair reacts not only to certain styles but cutting methods (razor-cutting is popular but my hair is a cursed, demon-possessed thing if it's own like the snakes on Medusa and turns into just that ). Not only is the entire staff friendly and pleasurable to interact with, Kelly makes sure I am always happy with everything before I leave. Satisfaction guaranteed, if you get home and don't like it she'll fix it and work with you til you do. She (like her fellow colleagues I've seen with their clients) is knowledgeable and stays on the up-and-up in her skills-I love hearing about the seminars and events she goes to, mostly because I selfishly know it'll work in my favor . She has made great recommendations for my hair that actually worked, and introduced to me the magical (albeit probably witchcraft haha) hair semi-permanent defrizzing process that is a Brazilian Blowout. Anyway, I can't recommend them enough. They're a cozy, smaller group of stylists with great talents and amazing personality. It's almost like hanging out with your gal pals after a hard day at work- they even have wine . They have excellent customer service, whether it was working me in at the last minute because of family coming in from out of town or rescheduling because of my crazy work schedule at times, they have always tried to be accommodating and still friendly and nice about it-which anyone who has been in customer service knows is not the easiest thing to do, amiright?! Anyway, if you're looking for a stylist that makes you feel brand new when you leave instead of looking for a hat and someone else to fix it, I highly recommend the ladies at Nuance.

She came up with a plan and executed it perfectly listening to all of my concerns. She was also able to finalize the cut with some tweaks that we both thought would work and they did.
