She had water and a cute lil' truffle treat waiting for me at my chair. Once settled, she asked me what we were doing today. I explained what look I was going for and for what occasion. She said with confidence, "We can do that. No problem!" Throughout the appointment, we had stunning conversation. She was very easy to talk to, as well as, express any concerns about my hair. She fixed anything I had a qualm with. There was no push back which was so refreshing. I've worked with other stylist who have told me, "No, we can't do that." The absolute worst blowout I've ever received. Paid $73 got a half assed scalp massage that was supposed to last 10 minutes. My hair was washed, the massage I guess was given at some point, and I was in a styling chair all in less than 10 minutes. It's been two hours since my blowout and my hair is flatter than when I went in. The stylist was really sweet and that makes me feel bad, but spending that much money for looking worse than when I went in is a joke. Just go to Dry Bar or stay home. read more

I do not recommend this is my 3 rd time coming. I've been to multiple locations and never had a problem but this time I did. I'm not the type to do reviews btw. At first they greated me everything was okay. First my stylist did not offer me anything to drink,second she washed my hair maximum 5 min and I was not relaxed at all. I pay more for my membership because I have extensions.the way this lady was not careful at all with my extensions was crazy.i don't know why I pay extra for them to do my extensions if they don't know how to treat hair like this. My extensions cost me 2k for them to be ruined.whenever she blow dried my hair she was doing it so aggressively where she poked my eye three times.i just got lasik eye surgery which cost me 5k for her to be messing with my eyes.I was done with the service and was waiting on my ride when there was no staff in the front so I left because I had to go. They tried to charge a tip on my card without my permission.I will be canceling my membership and going back to dry bar.overall experience 2/10 read more

10/15/20 11 am Thursday Meh. Went the first week they were open. I love the concept and the membership option intrigued me. My blowout was average at best. I can't say my girl was talented. When she was finished I asked her to correct it. Even then it was okay.. happily I didn't pay full price. My hair looked about the same as it does when I do it myself at home except she had more product at her disposal. When I went to check out the front counter person checked someone else out and not me but charged my card. Uh no!! I won't be back at full or discounted price. I went to Blo because they had an opening and every other salon in town was booked. My mom and I came in for two blowouts. Neither of the stylists told us their names and now I see why. I told my stylist I wanted a classic blowout with volume. My stylist's cell phone rang loudly next to my head while I was getting shampooed, and then she continued to not use any product on my hair, which is so dangerous! She blow dried my hair and proceeded to curl with a straightening iron... it was a mess. She yanked at my hair and made me feel uncomfortable. My mom's stylist didn't say a word to her other than when she asked her what style she was looking for. All the stylists were yelling to eachother through the mirrors the entire time we were at the salon. It was the weirdest experience, and after all that I had to go home, re-wet my hair, and restyle it. This was a waste of time. Go to Drybar! read more

I usually go the Drybar but was wanting to save a few extra dollars since I did not have an event, just broke my arm and couldn't shampoo my own hair. First I arrive 15 minutes early doors are locked even though posted hours are 9am-7pm. She did show up at one for my appointment looking like she just crawled out of bed. Paid 15 extra dollars for a 10 minute scalp massage that total time being shampooed was less then 5 minutes, asked if that included the scalp massage was told yes. This was my first time using this salon and to be honest, it was a horrible experience. The staff member was very cold toward me and my style was so bad that I had to come home, re-wash my hair and completely re-do it myself when I got home before my event today. The staff member was very defensive and actually rude when I asked her about the style. I had paid for a treatment and she suggested against it and yet had I not mentioned it when checking out, would have been charged for it. The shampoo lasted all but perhaps 2 minutes. Receptionist answering phone was rude..not a good start. Apparently you must give your credit card information to simply make an appointment. If the reason is a constant flow of "no shows," that can then be charged a fee for missing an appointment, I am not sure why this becomes MY responsibilty? I am, and continue to be, a cash paying customer and I am not willing to give credit card information for you "to have on file." This policy certianly turned me off. Plenty of other salons willing to accept my cash. read more

I admit, we were 7 minutes late. My daughter was five days postpartum and, any mother knows, seven minutes late with a new baby is actually great timing! We even called in route and said we will be there in 5 minutes. The young woman on the phone said...."As long as you're here within 10 minutes of your appointment time, everything will be fine." Well, it wasn't. We walked in 7 minutes late and were told, NOPE. The young woman said she had spoken to her manager and we could not be served. Now, let me add at this point, there was NOT A SINGLE CLIENT IN THE SHOP. Suddenly a man appeared from the back, told me the two women at the front were 'new', he wasn't sure why they were refusing service and he offered to wash and style my daughter's hair. She declined. The woman had been so smarty pants, my daughter was done. When I turned to leave, upset and exasperated, one woman had the nerve to say, "Have a Blessed Day." She had shown ZERO companssion, so I found her comment condescending and frankly, smart aleck. And I told her so. Now here is the kicker: They had my credit card number, CVC and expiration date. It was supposedly 'encrypted.' Within four hours of that interaction, my CC company notified me that there are THREE purchases to Edible Arrangements totalling $240.00 and one purchase to Tiff's Treats for $85. Weird, right? Coincidence? Who knows? Is somebody full of fruit and cookies? Maybe. Today I went to DryBAR on Hulen. They were awesome. read more

I went to Blo yesterday to get a blowout for an event I had. The event started at 6 and my sister and I had blowouts scheduled for 3 and 3:45, in order to allow for extra time. We didn't end up finishing until 5:30, so we had to scramble when we got home and arrived late to our event. We only had one lady working on both of us at the same time, so I completely understand why it took so long. However, another woman walked in and our lady had to call someone else to come in. She later told me that another staff member had walked out earlier in the day, so she was receiving all her clients. The blowout were great! Just a time issue and they are clearly understaffed. As a chick fil a employee, being understaffed can make or break your business for a given day! So I completely understand but I think this is something that can be changed. read more

Went with two other family members to get our hair done before an important dinner. They were overbooked and did not see two of us for 15-20 minutes after we arrived and myself even longer after that. I had to tell my stylist to not put in any curls because by the time she finished drying my hair we were well into being there at an hour. We had to leave to get to the dinner. So essentially I paid for someone to blow dry my hair. One of the people I came with did get her hair curled and it fell out before we got to dinner. Total waste of time and money. read more
