This is the only butcher shop I know of anywhere around here and always come by here to see their specials on steaks and various blends of hamburger meat that they do. The brisket burgers are really good as are the dry age steaks. I'm a big filet guy and they don't often have filets but the strips and other cuts are quite good. Really great selection of Meats ranging from pre-designed (such as ground beef with bacon and cheese). In addition, the steaks are really tasty for the prices that are there. (comparable to the meats at your local grocery store and wholesale locations). The steaks that i've purchased here are the Ribeyes (14.99 lb), as well as the sirloin tips at $8.99lb. The ribeye is very well marbled, however has a lot of excess fat on it. (after cutting off all of the fat, the 3lbs i bought came out to be 2lbs). The Sirloin Tips were great for cubing and also excellent for making kebobs. Overall, the tenderness of the angus beef that they provide are top notch and can be comparable to higher cuts of meat from your stand stores. If you like some of the higher cuts of steak such as dry aged and prime cut. They have a great assortment of other meats as well as soups (however i have not tried anything other than the sirloin tips and ribeyes). read more

Great selection! I went for quality split breasts, which BTW were excellent, but I couldn't just get chicken so I picked up some brisket burgers! Let me tell you, I'm 60 years young and I've been grilling since I was 18. Those brisket burgers were the best burgers I have ever made! Their beef hotdogs are great too! Last minute wanted some steaks for the grill and was nearby. Ordered a standard thick Ribeye as well as regular fillet (they have higher quality meats too). Store was filled with great items and they also get Little Necks, score! Nice guys running the place when we were there. Went there for the first time on 6/8/19. Brought a London Broil and a pork tenderloin. The 2 people at the front counter were nice enough, but had no idea what cut of meat a London Broil was, or whether they could cut one to order. Turns out that no, they don't cut to order. The meat looked really nice but was excessively chewy. Very disappointing. The pork tenderloin wasn't. It was TWO skinny tenderloins packaged together to appear as one. That was a huge turn off. Incredibly disappointing. I have better luck a Publix. Will not be returning for any reason. read more

Excellent customer service with a smile! My family loves the Brisket Burgers! They are a must for a family cookout. Both of my kids can tell the difference in "meat market" burgers vs burgers from the local grocery stores. I personally buy 10lbs of chicken breast ground up. When comparing their prices to the grocery store for ground chicken breast, they are considerably less expensive. Meat always tastes fresh and I have them package in 2lb increments so I can freeze and use as needed. Highly recommend, excellent quality of meat. read more

Simply put. They get it. Wet aged, dry aged, bone in, no bone, Angus Prime meat. Friendly, helpful and reasonably priced for a 3 bone Prime rib. I will be back in 2 months for another. read more

Great folks. The stuffed jalapenos are wonderful. We also get all our dog bones here. One of the few places that carry frozen beef bones rather than cooked or smoked which can splinter and injure your dog. They also helped us out with out Big Green Egg. It is refreshing to get a local butcher shop who caters to their customers and takes care of them. read more

The steaks here are phenominal. The service for specific orders are questionable. I came in the store and spoke to Dillon to request a special order for beef jerky. We had discussions regarding the methods of preparing and cutting the meat in small width sizes. Dillon agreed to freeze the meat prior to cutting which allows for thinner cuts. After our discussion, Dillon advised he would even able to complete the request in a couple hours. I returned 3 hours later to find that my order was not even started and Dillon was not present. I explained again to another meat specialist of what I discussed with Dillon and he wrote my order on the board and indicated the order would be completed the following day. As agreed, I stopped by and picked up my order. Returned home to start the marinating process. I come to find out that the beef slices are much wider than I anticipated. There were several chunks of beef and based on the thickness of cuts, it was clear that the portion of beef was not partially frozen prior to cutting. I will likely be returning for steak purchases but I will not be making any special orders for any meats. Some things are better completed by yourself. read more

Would not sell us a bone-in pork loin roast. We could buy the pork chops they had cut, but they refused to cut pork loin roast. Huh? Not sure what the point of an independent butcher is then. I can buy pork chops at literally every grocery store meat department on the block. Odd and disappointing. Finding a new local butcher who will actually cut meat to order. read more

I have been a customer of this place for some time. However, during my last visit there for ground beef, I watched the employee grab the beef with his bare hands. No gloves. He then proceeds to wrap up the meat and then takes it to the front and rings me up WITHOUT EVER WASHING HIS HANDS. I was so shocked I didn't say anything. Needless to say, they have lost my future business as I cannot trust what they are doing up there. read more

I love this place. The meat is always fresh. The guys are always friendly. The prices are always low. Since finding The Butcher Shoppe I no longer buy meat at the grocery store. It is so easy and convenient to walk in and tell them which meat package I want and not have to dig through the meat in the grocery store. read more

The people are really friendly. The prices are higher than I'd like, but certainly competitive considering how high a quality the meat is. I recommend this place, certainly! I do not, however, recommend buying any of the extras. Their price for corn was completely unreasonable when I bought it. I could get a dozen at the farmers market for the price of 3 at their shop. I don't recommend American Home Shield as your home warranty company. They have patched my Air Conditioning unit 7 times this summer. They have had their flunky tech's put the expensive R22 Refrigerant in twice. (I asked the tech where it was going and he said it had a leak) I told him to fix it and he told me,"They did't get paid to do that". American Home Shield only pays up to 10lbs of it and we have to pay the rest. It costs almost 200.00 to get it pumped back up. We have gone two weekends with no air this summer. They came out 3 times to stop a condensation problem that flooded my basement, after I had payed 14,000,00 to have it waterproofed. They keep replacing a capacitor and a wire that goes off the compressor keeps burning. The condensation problem has rusted out the inside furnace and the rest of the cabinet to the point that there was standing water at all times. Their customer survive rep. was very unprofessional. When I told him that I was afraid to run my air, because I was afraid it would break, he said " I don't carry a tool box, I don't fix them himself". I finally got someone on the line that told me that they would replace the system. When I called back they told me the lady that told me that was wrong. I gave up on this loosing company. and have asked a copy of my contract and A copy of work orders, to no avail. Sick! Sick! read more

Friendly knowledgeable staff, fresh cuts, great homemade sausage selections every week. Their freezer is always stocked with goodies. They will hand cut and trim anything you need, also can offer advice on cooking different cuts. Love the fresh local selections for beef and chicken.
