    Games that work

Id only recommend going on half price wednesday. And when you go make sure where u slide ur reloadable card is listed at the correct price because the arcades are inconsistently priced. The 4 player ticket games might only have 1 or 2 of the 4 card readers(how you pay for arcades) at the half price while other spots at the same game have higher prices! We realized after overpaying multiple times. Then the baseball speed oitch game is broken and uncalibrated but still on and operable just enough to take your money but unable to register correct speeds thrown and distribute tickets accordingly. Frustrating. The rick and morty game was frustrating customers left and right because it didnt work properly. The ball toss game where you knock over clown dolls was rigged and the 30 point clowns were impossible to knock down even with a fastball. The arcade was low on employees which put too much workload on the few employees actually working. I saw the same guy pour drinks, hand out food, doing ticket redemptions, fixing games, and patrolling. This arcade has potential but you really need to get everything functioning properly. Also stop only putting half price games in some of the card readers while other readers on the same game show full price. No bubble hickey is criminal.

Frankie's Grille located inside Block Party Social

Formerly the Space Entertainment Center, Block Party Social is a good place to go for indoor family fun which is a local smaller version of a Dave & Buster's or an iPlay America (in NJ), offering a good variety of arcade games, skill games (win tickets for prizes), cornhole, pool table, ping pong, plus a Sky Trail (ropes course), zipline, and Laser Tag. There are plenty of social distancing markers on the floor and hand sanitizing stations throughout the center. During the current pandemic, the staff all wear masks, but most customers were seen without masks. Like before, they also have a snack bar named Frankie's Grille which is order at the counter and serves up burgers, sandwiches, wraps, pizza, salads, chicken tenders, wings, fried foods, poutine, Asian nachos, cookies, brownies, Pepsi fountain drinks, bottled drinks, beer & wine. The food prices are moderate. There is also ample table seating nearby spread out. Specials are also offered here on certain days including half price burgers & pizzas all day on Mondays, unlimited laser tag for $20/pp on Tuesdays, half price arcade games on Wednesdays (similar deal at Dave & Buster's), and College Thursdays. I stopped here recently for takeout food at Frankie's Grille. I ordered Asian Style Nachos ($9 plus tax) and a Steak Bomb Wrap with Curly Fries ($12 plus tax). After I paid for my food, they gave me a metal number to hang onto until my food was ready and packed to go, which took about 15 minutes. The Asian Style Nachos were very good, which was a good portion of crispy wonton chips topped with breaded General chicken pieces, Asian slaw, guacamole, & a sriracha aioli drizzle. The Steak Bomb Wrap was decent, which was filled with tender grilled steak tips, sauteed peppers & onions in a soft flour tortilla cut in half and plenty of white cheese sauce for dipping. The golden fried curly fries (lightly salted) were firm in texture. I will definitely be back for some gaming and for the burgers, pizza and those Asian Style Nachos! NOTE: Use extra caution when entering and exiting the parking lot to/from Zapora Drive (a Town road) since the driveway is located on a blind curve. The tree line and very thick brush on the inner curve of Zapora Drive really should be removed to provide sight distance for left turning vehicles into Block Party Social.

20% tip added to party rental fee AND misc fee?! I wish this was made clear to me when I circled "20%" that it was being applied to EVERYTHI

Is this normal?!? I had my son's 5th birthday party on Saturday. We paid $300 for the party, $100 on 2 extra pizzas billed to the party and spent over $200 at the bar during those 2 hours (there were a lot of adults there). The bill came with a hand written "20%, 18% or 15%". The staff was great so I wanted to give a 20% tip. It was never made clear to me that by circling 20% tip, that it would be applied to the ENTIRE tab! Including the party rental fee, SALES TAX and even the $25 service fee which I still haven't received a response about what that fee is for. We were told that the $50 table fee would be waived if we spent $100. Which for the record, we spent WAY more than that...just didn't charge it directly to the party tab. I am happy to tip our party host and intend to do so once this is straightened out. But this felt very sneaky to me and I did not expect to pay an $86 tip after having already spent so much on the party. Otherwise, we did have a great time at the party and the pizza was great. I am hoping someone responds to my emails soon so I can get some clarification.

We went here for a birthday party on a Saturday and loved it so much we went back as a family on Sunday. The food is OUTSTANDING! Just totally blown away at how amazing and delicious it was... I was not expecting food this great at an arcade joint. The Asian nachos are FREAKING DELICIOUS 10/10! It's the main reason we went back! The fried dough- best I've had! Pizza is on point! Cocktails, thumbs up! The place is new, impeccably clean, extremely spacious. The music isn't blaring so loudly that your ears ring (like Dave and Busters). It's nice to actually be able to talk to and hear your friends. The arcade games are fun.. a plus that they also have laser tag, a rock wall, obstacle course, axe throwing, corn hole, ping pong.. you name it. For parties they set the table like you are at a wedding. Unexpected but so nice! This is a new favorite place and we will be back, a lot! Loads of fun for all ages. The only down side when comparing to Dave and Busters is that the prizes aren't as great... for kids to get a stuffed animal you need a few thousand tokens. Other than that this place blows every other arcade/ social joint out of the water. It has it all!

Great open set up, even during covid.

This place is better and cheaper than Dave and Busters in Manch. If you are picking one, go here instead.

As recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records, Funspot is the LARGEST arcade in the world. Originally opened as the Weirs Sports Center, then 21-year-old Lawton opened it as an indoor miniature golf course and penny arcade with $750 borrowed from his grandmother. It was originally located in the top floor of Tarlson's Arcade building across from the Weirs Beach boardwalk. In 1964, Lawton purchased 21 acres of land nearby and relocated his business there. At this time, it was renamed "Funspot". By the 1980s, arcade cabinets and pinball machines had become the most popular attractions at Funspot. The business soon switched from quarters to tokens. Lawton continued to expand the business and even opened six satellite locations, but they all closed down by the late 1990s. Funspot was heavily featured in the 2007 film "The King of Kong": a universally-acclaimed documentary about competitive arcade gaming. Today Funspot has over 600 video games (both retro and modern), pinball machines, ticket redemption machines, an indoor miniature golf course, 20-lane ten-pin and candlepin bowling, cash bingo, a restaurant, a tavern, an ice cream stand, kiddie rides and several other attractions on its grounds. It is also home to the American Classic Arcade Museum. My extended family and I visited Funspot this past summer while we were spending the week in Maine. On one day in particular, it was a little too rainy to go to the beach. Funspot was just an hour drive from where we were staying, so we made the trip and arrived in time for the opening. I have wanted to visit Funspot ever since I saw the film "The King of Kong"; it had been on my bucket list for a while. This place is HUGE; they have so many classic arcade cabinets and pinball machines from the golden age of arcade games (roughly late 1970s to early 1980s). "Donkey Kong", "Pac-Man", "Galaga", "Frogger", you name it and they had it. My wife and I had so much fun taking turns on all of the various arcade cabinets and pinball machines. I especially enjoyed playing "JAWS" pinball in a shark cage of all places. Our two sons especially enjoyed all of the various driving games as well as all of the vintage kiddie rides. My family also enjoyed a few rounds of skee-ball and air hockey. I can't remember the last time I had so much fun; I never wanted to leave. If you are a fan of classic arcades then you simply must make the pilgrimage to Funspot!

Super easy to get tokens too ($20 gets you 110, which lasts a while since old-school games are just 1 token and newer ones run 2-4). Beyond the arcade, they've got indoor mini golf, bowling, and even a tavern, so there's something for everyone, kids and adults alike. This place is fantastic and I'll definitely be back. Pro tip: make sure to head across the street to 603 Sweets after--perfect way to end the day.

Since 2001, the owner of the arcade has been Robert Lago of New Hampshire-based Grape Hill Associates LLC. The arcade operates seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day. My family and I visited Fun-O-Rama this summer while we were spending the week in York. It was our first day in town, and after exploring the Short Sands Beach area we wandered into the arcade. Both of my young sons are obsessed with arcades, so they were very excited. Fun-O-Rama has a nice mixture of various types of arcade amusements, both classic and modern. In addition to the classic arcade cabinets of the 1980s, there were also pinball machines, skee-ball, air hockey, arcade basketball, arcade bowling, kiddie rides, a fortune teller machine, driving games, and shooter games. The place (and the games) seemed well-loved; countless hands had used those joysticks over the last several decades. We only stayed for a little while, as it was getting late, but my sons both had a fun visit.
