I've been wanting to try this since it opened but had received mixed reviews. My family was in town, so we decided to try it. The place was packed on a Sunday and a 1.5 hour wait for a party of 8. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating! We sat in the back dining area and they made a table for 8. Let me start with the drinks, the chai espresso drink MUST GET. Best alcoholic beverage I've ever had in my life. My friend and I both agree and had two each. They have a nice variety of breakfast, with healthier and smaller options. The prices are decent, definitely city prices. I had the shakshuka, which was phenomenal but wish there was an option to add more meat. The portion was huge and the sourdough was delicious. Not worth the price point. The café is beautiful and very aesthetic inside, but I was disappointed by the cleanliness. I arrived right when they opened, yet several seats still had crumbs on them. The service was quick, though not overly warm or welcoming. I also found it odd that the drink menu is printed separately on paper instead of being included on the main menu--it feels less polished than the rest of the space. As someone who eats plant based, I'd love to see vegan items clearly labeled on the menu and at least one more substantial vegan entrée option. I ordered the Powerhouse Overnight Oats for $22. They were actually quite tasty and surprisingly filling. However, at that price, I expected a little more. The chia seeds were dry rather than fully hydrated, and consuming dry chia seeds on their own is generally discouraged because they absorb liquid after being eaten. One final suggestion: please include menu prices on your website. It makes it much easier for customers to decide before visiting. read more

What a shockingly great find in downtown Missoula, Montana! This was my first trip to Missoula and I have to say I was completely impressed with how hip and cool it is. This restaurant is only open until about 3 o'clock, but hopefully one day they will open for dinner because it is so cute and so fun and the food is so good! I do always love restaurants that let their servers just wear whatever they feel like so they can show their personalities. They also have disappearing doors making it an inside/outside restaurant, not sure how that works in winter, but it was great in summer! I was so happy with my breakfast that I forgot to take photos of it and so into the fun decor all I did was take pictures of the interiors! I loved the atmosphere!!! Wonderful workers who provided quick service and got me seated right away. I have to say they have the best matcha in town as it was so flavorful and I got it with lavender flavor which was 10/10. Second I got the eggs benedict (eggs benny, classic) and it was delicious. I am not a huge fan of eggs (why get it then? I was feeling adventurous) and they actually made me love eggs for a second. Amazing balance of ham, sauce and egg. Also I was on my break and when I explained it to the nice lady behind the bar she was super nice and allowed me to pay early so I could leave when I needed to. Able to get in and out in 20 minutes!! I'm very surprised at the 3.5* average. We had an awesome breakfast one morning and on another afternoon some very interesting cocktails and pleasant conversation with the bartender. The food: avo toast was a work of art and very much enjoyed. The rest of us had lobster benes. It is nice that you can get a half or full order. I see some other reviews complaining about the service. Our service was fantastic- and the place was busy and the servers were all running around working their butts off. Its pretty open concept place so there is bo real place for a server to hide.. funny I noticed that the servers were just constantly moving- working, looking for how they can help.
