The nail technician was extremely rude, arrogant, and clearly lacked basic technical competence. ​She started the service with my pinky finger, where I explicitly showed her the exact length I wanted, expecting all the other nails to be matched accordingly. The thumbs were left for last. Instead of maintaining consistency, she filed my thumbs down so much that they ended up twice as short as the other eight fingers. ​When I pointed out this obvious mistake, she completely lacked accountability and tried to gaslight me, blaming me by claiming I had asked for that length. When I insisted on proper symmetry, she became confrontational, stated that she "doesn't work with picky clients," and refused to finish the job. ​Being pregnant, the last thing I expected was to be treated with such hostility and disrespect. To top it off, she condescendingly told me she wouldn't accept me as a client again as if I would ever return after such an appalling experience. If a "nail technician" cannot maintain a consistent length across all fingers, they shouldn't be in this business. Save your time and money.

The first time was probably the "best" experience I had there. My appointment time was actually respected and my nails turned out decently for the price. Every other appointment I went to after was a shit show. There's always something wrong with them. Whether it's making you wait 15-30 minutes AFTER your supposed appointment time, employee drama (we can all tell, the way you act and speak to one another it's obvious there's tension and it's uncomfortable), and lack of professionalism, they have found a way to fuck up and I stupidly kept giving them chances. From mispronouncing my name and laughing about it when I corrected her--while with a client (this was the owner btw she really likes to let everyone know that), my nails breaking constantly, to making me feel weird because I didn't want one of her nasty donuts and poking fun at me for not eating it as if we were a couple of chums laughing it up no girl, leave me alone and let me get my nails done tf. I got some coupon from them for some Christmas promotion and got a nice chunk off, the only reason I returned one last time. A coworker recommended Queen Nail Salon and I've been going there since. She mentioned many times today how busy it was and on phone a lot taking appointments while doing our nails. She was definitely in a hurry. I've seen nail jobs she did on other people that posted pictures and so I know she could do better. The attention to detail today wasn't there. I have 2 crooked nails and mid paint job, by end just glue everywhere that I was cleaning out while daughter was getting her fill. It wasn't really until we were outside in better lighting that we both noticed many bumps, bubbles and scruffy spots, and crookedness to our nails. We went back and she proceeded to fix one of my crooked nails and then asked, "that better?"--it was worse! So I said, "no, we're going somewhere else to get them fixed." I knew that if she thought it was better, we were waisting our time. I did ask if we can get a credit of sorts since now we have to pay to get them fixed elsewhere. She said they "don't do refunds." I said, "oh, well not coming back." This place fell hard since when they first opened. It was dirty too and had homemade wrist supports made of duct tape and zip lock bags. Will not come there again. I should have known we were in for a bad visit when she showed me a French nail she did just finish on her previous customer and it looked all messy. Customer beware. Try the other ones in town, that's my advice.
