It was a very last minute decision so I was pleasantly surprised to know they could make room for me. I was booked with Hanna. I couldn't have been happier with my experience. She was so confident in what she was doing, I felt right at ease. I also loved the fact that she took her time on me, I was there for a good hour and a half (seriously) and never once felt rushed. She also curled my hair just to show me how to style it in the future. There was no hard sell for products, just a genuinely great haircut experience. She is really good at figuring out what you want, but she's not going to let you do something that will mess up your hair. She's very ethical and will never choose to make money over doing what is right for your hair. I've got naturally (very) curly hair, but it's fine too -- and it's so hard to find someone that knows how cut that kind of hair, and what type of products will best take care of it. Starting from the very beginning, she had me doing crazy-easy things (and inexpensive too) that just CHANGED everything about how my hair looked and felt. Can you imagine someone saying, "Don't buy this $27 spray, go to the grocery store and get this $6 bottle of....." I'm not going to tell you WHAT it was... ya gotta see Jess for that....but it's the BEST thing I've ever discovered for my curly hair! She also suggested a different way to give my hair the blonde highlights I wanted, without bleaching the hell out of it every six weeks.
