She works very fast but gave me the best haircut of my life when I have sat in a chair for over an hour before, only to have a cut that Stevie Wonder could have done better! I have had my hair cut in Hawaii, Palm Springs, L.A., all very high end salons and honestly, this is the very best cut of my life! I apologize but who would have thunk lol Vancouver, WA was going to be the place?! Sarah made me feel so welcomed from the minute I walked through her door. She seemed genuinely happy to meet me and excited about doing my cut. I had no idea of what I wanted done and within minutes she showed me a cut that she had on her phone and just said, "this is your cut. I KNOW IT"! And she was right on the money. She actually LISTENED to me when in the past I have gotten stylists who let their ego get in the way and took over my hair, completely disregarding what I had asked for. TIP: Before arriving I had decided to tell Sarah how I was feeling at that moment in my life. What my mood had been and the changes I wanted to make. She chose a cut that made me feel like a different person as I walked back out into the big world. I now feel more in control. I feel powerful and sexy with a bit of sassy on the side! My husband-to-be complimented me the minute I walked in the door and that really gave me the affirmation that I needed as most men need to be told that something is different about yourself! I have one of the most important days of my life coming up - my wedding day - and there is no way that Sarah won't be an integral part of it! Seriously, Sarah found her calling in life and that is to help people to feel their best and we all could use that during these challenging times. Go to The Red Chair, you won't regret it! Everyone deserves to feel beautiful! FYI: The salon is darling. Very fun to look around at and very clean. She has waxing, nail services and is incorporating massage into the mix. And the cost, next to nothing! I have paid four times as much. So worth it that I think she should raise her prices! And I am on disability, unable to work. Now that says a lot!

The lady that called them crooks is terribly mistaken. Try losing a gift certificate for any business and then call them on the phone to see if they will honor the missing item. If this lady had simply brought her Aunt into the shop and told them what happened, I am certain they would have accommodated her. They are honest people just trying to make a living by providing outstanding service- especially to older clients. They are gentle, respectful, and kind. She called them "Malaysian" and said they spoke rudely to her. Did not happen. She needs to go into their shop and explain what happened- not talk to them on the phone as they do not always understand our language.

Would rate 0/5 if possible…read more I went with my boyfriend to get a haircut, and the last two pictures are what he asked for. He likes a longer/shaggier look. The first picture is 2 seconds into the haircut. WHY?!? I dont know! She immediately went for a bald fade when he had asked for hair in the back. Made him super insecure and he hates how he looks now!
