I think the stylist and I might have had a miscommunication because I asked for her to put more layers in my hair and clean up my bangs. She asked if she could cut off a little bit of length because of my split ends, and I said that was fine. But when I walked out she'd cut off a good four inches, and the layers were barely there. The ends of my hair are really boxy, blunt, and heavy now, but I'm afraid to go anywhere to fix it because I don't want to lose even more length. I hate to leave a negative review because this was a really nice place and the stylist was really kind but I'm so sad about my hair. I look like Lord Farquaad.

I have been to this salon twice about a year ago, the first time was great! Upon arriving she was about 30 minutes behind, I had my daughter who's 5 go first and she spent about 5 minutes just cleaning up the ends when I wanted a haircut for her. But since we were already behind time I didn't say anything. I also didn't have time for her to style my hair after the cut so paid and left. When I did get home and start doing my hair I realized that there was a huge chunk of the bottom layer of my hair was chopped to about 3 inches (my hair is passed the middle of back! I been growing it out for the last year now the pics are taken now a year later. You can still see how short it is, can only wear by hair down or with tones of clips to hide it.

She explained that she only wanted a couple of inches off and did not want the shape changed or ANY layers...a blunt bob, the same length all the way around. She even showed her photos of her current hairstyle and emphasized that she wanted NO layering or change in shape. Kayla proceeded to not only heavily layer the back but cut it at an angle at least 2-3 inches shorter than the rest and even worse, it is uneven and raggedy looking in the back. She ruined a very nice cut that my wife has been maintaining the look of for years. I don't know how it gets any simpler especially when you have PHOTOS to look at to see what the client is asking for. It will take months for my wife's hair to grow out enough that she can get it back to the shape it was before.

I had just been through a health issue that had left my hair dry, broken, thin and just plain awful. Fatima rescued me! She conditioned my hair so it began its slow recovery.
