I originally reached out to her a few months ago to make an appointment online. She called me immediately to let me know the documents required, charges and what to expect to notarize a California Power of Attorney and Healthcare Directive for mom and dad. After our brief meeting, I realized I had things my parents needed to do before she came out. It took a couple of months but we got there. Yesterday, Suzanne met my parents in their home. She even FaceTimed me so that my parents felt secure and comfortable with me "there". She was gracious, extremely patient and the kindest business professional I could have hoped for. Her natural kindness and compassion put my parents, and me at total ease. I was pleasantly surprised at her respect and professionalism, such a breath of fresh air! She explained the process and steps they would be taking. She even brought out a magnifying wand for my dad and repeated information that they asked. She never once's rushed them but patiently worked with them for well over an hour+. Last but not least, the charges. I honestly did a double take when Suzanne shared with us the charges. We would have gladly paid more, both my parents and I thought her services were extremely reasonable. She drove to their home, made copies, certified, notarized, emailed me copies and sent 2 separate documents to me via Fed Ex. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. An older woman employee wearing a blue shirt, who may have been the manager, told me that they do not ship internationally from this location. The interaction came across as dismissive, rude, and I felt as though my questions and business were treated more like an inconvenience than an opportunity to help a customer. If this location truly does not offer international shipping, I completely understand. However, I believe there is a more courteous and professional way to communicate that information. As a new customer in the area, I left feeling unwelcome and disappointed by the level of customer service I received. I will definitely not be returning at all to this location. I hope this feedback encourages a greater focus on providing friendly, respectful service to everyone who walks through the door.
