Debbie and Crew are PROS! I came in on a busy rush. There was a line on a Wednesday afternoon. There were two gentlemen helping at the center and Debbie had opened up a register on the side. During my wait in line I observed Debbie give the cutest little munchkin a hello kitty sticker as a surprise. It just made my day. But then it got even better when I got to Debbie's register. I had neglected to print my shipping label and Debbie quickly took charge and made sure my Amazon page went straight to print in 3 seconds flat. At the same time she was doing this, she was also assisting the reps at the other counters in making sure another customer chose the right shipping insurance option. We started wrapping up my order and I said, "You are ON IT!" She gave me a smile and was just so humble. I just stood there in awe of her. Debbie, you are a legend and people know it. I usually come here first thing in the morning on saturdays to do returns/ship packages, and I've never once had an issue. The employees are always friendly, helpful, and efficient! For most Amazon returns, they just scan the code and provide you a receipt to track the return, which is nice. Also love the location, there's always plenty of parking, even when it's busy! I return packages to Amazon a couple times a month and always hope I don't get the older lady with the white hair. She doesn't ever smile or greet you. She just starts barking orders at you and she says the same rehearsed lines every single time. Kindness and conversation goes a long way in the customer service industry and this lady is definitely not about it. She is clearly always stressed and annoyed about her job. I just experienced the worst customer service here. After reading the reviews, it turns out I am not the only one who has had a run in with the rudest lady ever. She did not give me her name but she older with grey/white hair. As soon as I walked in, not a hello or hi or how is your day. It was we won't take that. Its not packaged. I tried to advise her UPS approved me to bring it without packaging. She gave me horrible mean face and began to tell me that I am wrong and they won't touch it. She then belittled me in front of another employee who just sat there. When I told her she didn't need to be rude she told me I came in with an attitude and she is just giving me what I gave her. At no time was I rude. I am in customer service and always treat people with kindness. Then she stated walking away saying extremely rude things about me. I asked her what she was saying, which I could hear word for word, and she told me I was rude and deserved the attitude. If this is the service this store offers, I will be taking my business elsewhere. The fact other people have complained about the same person on this app and she is still employed is a shame. My package literally had a ups label printed on it "do not charge customer" since the sender paid the fees. But someone wrote in pen, "$5 pick up fee". They wouldn't let me pick it up without paying even though the employee couldn't articulate why I was buying charged. He just said, "its how they delivered it I guess but it's another $5". The numerous bad customer service reviews seem to be accurate here. Unfortunately. As a best practice I take a picture of any shipment with the label on it for "proof". I never caught the name of the heavy set lady (wearing a mask- lol), so we will just call her Karen. Well Karen wouldn't let me take a photo of the package and label. She defended her position saying I can make a duplicate label. WTAF is wrong with this lady? I can easily have printed 100 of the same label if I wanted to from UPS online. She literally moved the package to the back counter as quickly as possible to prevent me from taking the picture. Outrageous. Management has failed training Karen. read more

I receive at least 4 shipments a month for pick up because they need to be signed for. Each one takes me at least 2 visits because there is always a "problem". The packages need an ID that I always bring in. The woman with the long dark hair always finds a new reason not to give it to me. The other employees always find it right away. Yesterday, the tracking # was " wrong". I will not go back there, so UPS will have to send it back. Do not use this store! To add: I went back today with the same tracking number. The mistake was the scanner mistake. There are several steps the store employee can take when the tracking number is off. The employee that helped me tried them and I have my package! They are always so sweet and omg SO so busy! But they take the time to be kind to every customer that walks in. Lines are super long! But they work so hard to be efficient. When returning from Amazon, make sure you have everything because they want to take every penny from you! They charge for EVERY SINGLE ITEM! It's not the workers' faults, it's the owner who's greedy. I'm from San Diego, and the UPS stores there are VERY accommodating! Anyways, I have a brand new baby and forgot to print the return label for his bottles, so I asked if I can send it to their email and have them print it. Have been a customer at this store since back when it was Postal Plus (20+ yrs). Surprised to see recent negative reviews, so thought I would write my own as my experience is very different. I primarily use this store for business mailing, copies, notary and package returns for Amazon/eBay. The staff has always been super friendly to me and my wife, they say Hi when we enter the store and are very accommodating when we call and ask about package deliveries. Granted, the UPS shipping pricing is not cheap (frankly, every carrier seems to be expensive for shipping these days) but they are in line with other local shipping businesses and are still cheaper for sending larger packages than USPS or FedEx. I read a number of reviews that dinged the employees for enforcing company policy -- if your return instructions don't say that UPS will pack and ship it at no charge, then don't complain when they ask to charge you for tape and packing materials! Walked into this store at 11:45. It's 92 outside and almost as hot inside. Poor girl working was sweating. Owner literally runs a sweat shop. Said air doesn't come on until owner comes in. What a joke. They carry USPS flat rate boxes but charge their own fees. It's a bait and switch. So what would cost you $15 at the post office costs over $40 here. But you don't get to find that out until you're at the front of the line with a bunch of other frustrated people behind you. You'd think they would warn you as you ask for the USPS box they're clearly advertising on the wall. When I questioned the person at the front, her reason was "they aren't the post office." But clearly, they're using those free boxes to trick people into spending a premium on their shipping. I'll never spend money here again. read more

The manager at this location is extremely rude. I printed the label out for a return, but the return labels were not working so I processed my return again. This time I was able to scan the QR code instead of the return label, but the manager still tried to charge me for the printed return label that I no longer needed. The then ripped up my valid return labels (I had multiple returns) in my face, and told me that if I didn't pay for the unused print, I could not come back. She also told me that if I went into Safeway and broke something I would be forced to pay which is completely false. There is no situation where you were forced to pay for a product you do not use unless you signed some thing first that says that your payment is nonrefundable. This manager has always been extremely rude every time I've seen her, and clearly hates her job. She's never in a good mood, but this experience was ridiculous. Came here last week on a weekday at 9:35am and I thought it opens at 8:00am. Arrived at the front door and found out on a sign that it's open at 10:00am. I arrived at 3:32 pm and was stopped at the door by someone explaining how she has a lot of boxes behind the counter and needs to clear them out, so since she is the only one, she is going to take a 5 min break. Mind you, it's is 54 degrees outside, pouring rain during the recent storm. I was asked if I have my barcode ready and I noted that I have it in email when she then asked if I can come back. So I went to my car to not stand in the freezing cold and found the email with the bar code. When I returned there were over 3 customers waiting and had to wait an additional 5 minutes. You could see inside and she her and an additional worker moving boxes. But she just noted she was working along she eventually opened the door and apologized for the wait and explained she is the only one at the register and the other girl is working in the back. Which I couldn't understand could have been done in the first place as you still serviced customers. Or at the least, wait in the warm indoors. We all go in and I wait for the other customers to be processed, I am up. She asked if i found the bar code, I showed her. Then here's the kicker, she explains that I need to email it to them and get it printed in b&w so the email fee is $3.50 and the printing $0. Are you dead serious? That's wild first of all! An email fee?? Secondly, you could have explained that 15 min ago when I explained that my bar code is in my email. I decided to leave and go to the UPS store pass my house in Discovery Bay, where this is a free convenient service. Stay clear if you appreciate good service and respect of your time. read more

I told her I could show her a marriage certificate and she still refused. Called corporate and they apologized and told me they didn't understand why she refused. Upon my visit to this establishment, I was greeted soon after getting in line. I required computer usage, copier & mailing a package. Staff members, Alexis & Trinity were professional, courteous & helpful. Both stated if I had issues with the mouse during computer time, they would adjust the time listed, which was appreciated. Upon my inquiring if I had adequate adhesive on my package, Alexis quickly applied a sheet of adhesive right over the label, wonderful. The attention to detail by Alexis & Trinity is so appreciated. Did you know UPS is not guaranteeing their deliveries now? They sold me three day delivery. UPS failed to deliver and acknowledged they lost my package for close to a week. When I asked for a refund their manager Laura said she was so sorry and would get me a refund. A week later and nearly daily calls and still no refund. Now UPS is telling their manager, Laura, to inform customers like me they are not guaranteeing deliveries. What????? Talk about a bait and switch!!!!
