I use to shop there all the time when I lived in Stevenson Ranch I ordered the Beautiful in Blue bouquet I did because my daughter loves lilies and daisies I didn't order the smaller one, but the middle price My daughter sent me a picture and I wanted to cry NOT ONE LILY OR ONE DAISY there are a couple of roses and the rest looks like filler flowers the bouquet is way to big for the vase I will never order from them again They ruined a very special day and it was certainly not worth$114.00 i have bought prettier freeway flowers so if you live out of state be ware! read more

We have used many local florists for a variety of occasions. We recently used Bloomies to buy three girl's corsages for our daughter and 2 friends. Sadly our normal florist retired so we tried Bloomies. We paid $105 for the three corsages. Having bought our two girls prom corsages for 4 years, we have an expectation for the size, quality, and cost of a corsage. These corsages were extremely small, the flowers did not last through the evening -looking brown and wilted by midnight, and they were much more expensive than we paid in prior years. Overall, we were not impressed with Bloomies corsages. Maybe they are a better value for normal flower bouquets, but I cannot recommend them for corsages. read more

I love flowers and unfortunately I've seen a lot of florists come and go in the 18 years I've lived in SCV. So lately I've been going to Bloomies. The owner is nice and she does a good job filling my special orders and making deliveries as requested. I prefer a more modern style and try to find unique floral arrangements which you can't find at the grocery store. So far we have received compliments from the recipients regarding the flowers I have sent from Bloomies so I will continue to use them for my SCV floral needs. read more

Bloomie's did my flowers for my wedding in July 2014 and I couldn't be happier!! Henrietta was able to work with my budget and suggest flowers that were in season and would fit in my budget. Driving in from out of town for a dear friend's funeral, I called the status of our flower order. They were not able to make our order. No notification, nothing. After being burned by 1-800-flowers and only having about an hour until the service to make alternate arrangements, we called Bloomies. Henrette was amazing! We got our wreath within the hour and it was beautiful. She was so kind and thoughtful through the process, as it was already an emotional day for us, we would like to thank her! I purchased for a funeral bouquet from Bloomies Flowers to sit on top of a beautiful plant stand that I bought at Green Thumb Nursery for a memorial service. The florist informed me that if I upgraded to deluxe from standard that it would not be to small for the 13" tabletop. The standard price for $59.99 for 12" wide, the upgrade to deluxe was supposed to be 12 1/2" wide for $99:99. The vase ended up being about 1/2 the size as what was pictured in the catalog. I was so disappointed by the flower arrangement! The deluxe arrangement was only 10-11"wide and looked so small on the tabletop. The attendant assured me that she would spread the flowers out. The flowers were fresh but expected a " deluxe" size like promised! read more

I used Bloomies' delivery service and was very happy. They have a particularly nice selection of roses. The nice thing about Bloomies is that you can choose the arrangement you like and then select between three options "regular" "premium" or "deluxe"--each having a different quantity of flowers and corresponding prices. I also appreciate that they provide the dimensions of the floral basket arrangements (sometimes things can look big in a photo and then arrive tiny...at least here you know ahead of time :-) Reliable delivery service. Mixed feelings about this place. I was able to get a very lovely corsage for my niece on the same day that I ordered. Pretty with delicate little white roses, just what I wanted when other places in the SCV wouldn't do it at such late notice. That being said, my husband ordered flowers for me 5 days before Mother's day. As my first Mother's Day, he wanted specific flowers and they said no problem. Then, the day before, they call to say they can't do it. Of course, by then it was too late to get the flowers from another place. I went in yesterday to pick up a bouquet because I have purchased from them before due to their beautiful arrangements. The wonderful person working there asked me what I was looking for and was very helpful. As I was leaving, I noticed a little arrangement on the counter and inquired about it. After telling me that it was about to be thrown out because it didn't meet their freshness standards, she said "you can have it for free!" Wow! That is what I call "awesome!" If I could give zero stars I would. I can't believe this place is in business with 1. the arrangements they send out (this isn't the first time they've destroyed expectations with one of their "arrangements"), and 2. their customer service. Receiving flowers is supposed to be exciting, not disappointing. I got a "bouquet" of daisies with two of the saddest looking roses I have ever seen in my life, and they had the audacity to charge my husband $75 dollars for this. This isn't even something I'd pay $20 dollars for from a street vendor. I called to express my dismay and wasn't even given an apology, more like a "well this is what you get". Are you kidding me? They told me they'd send another bouquet out, but I told them to go ahead and come pick them up and refund the money. read more

One star because previous orders have been beautiful. However this last order for Valentine's Day the beauty was gone. I requested specific common flowers and completely different flowers were used. The flowers were not even fresh. The whole arrangement was a few flowers and lots of green filler. Not what I paid for. Today my doorbell rang and I opened the door and I thought it was a kid selling flowers he arranged himself -then I saw the card on the flowers which had my name on it and it said "Bloomies Florist". I certainly was 'floored'! Of course I was happy for the fact someone had sent me flowers but couldn't believe these were professionally done by a florist.. The arrangement looked very shoddy and mediocre, as if it had been done by a 3 year old. There were 9 irises, half unopened and tons of green leaves in a small vase with a yellow ribbon. It was so totally unimpressive and scraggly that I felt compelled to call 'Bloomies' and inform them of my dissatisfaction. I spoke with the owner or manager who said that since the buyer bought them over the Internet and didn't pay too much for the flowers that this was all she could do for the price. So, not only does she try to justify that this arrangement was acceptable, she also dissed the person who sent me flowers by alluding they were cheap. She thanked me for the criticism and said there was nothing she could or would do. If someone pays less of a price it doesn't mean the floral arrangement should not look pretty or artful. My flowers were pitiful and I should have been excited by the beauty of them but, instead, I was confounded these flowers came from a professional florist. I called my friend to thank them profusely for the flowers but when they asked how the flowers looked, I told them not to use Bloomies again. read more

We got married on Maui in June and were having a reception here a couple weeks later. We had beautiful Hawaiian leis and a flower crown at the ceremony and were hoping to have them replicated to wear at our reception. We went to Bloomies and gave Henriette a picture from our ceremony. We figured that finding Hawaiian flowers/leaves in the LA area would be tough, but she assured us she could do it. When we picked up our leis and crown a few days later, we were so pleased. They were beautiful! Henriette did a fantastic job. We were so pleased with her work and received so many compliments from the guests at our reception. Some of them even thought they were the same leis and crown from our ceremony and asked us how we had kept them so fresh for over two weeks! I've read some of the reviews and have nothing but good to say about Bloomies. I purchased roses from them 20 years ago and after moving back from Idaho purchased roses and arrangements from them as recently as last week with total satisfaction. I have never seen such big beautiful long stem red roses from any florist I have ever dealt with. I have also purchased arrangements from the big Pro Flowers and others on TV that don't compare. read more
