I was called back right on time, no waiting forever to go back. Everything explained to me (as always) and very easy. In and out in under 20 minutes. Nobody enjoys getting the girls smashed, but it truly can't be a life saving chore, and Wake Radiology is a great place to get a bit so fun experience done. Highly recommend.

The staff was friendly for the most part from scheduling to check in. The problem came in after check in. My appointment was at 2 pm...I got there around 1:40 pm...yet I was seen almost 1 hour later. I had to go back to work, so the frustration was definitely building. I had the mammogram first. The lady didn't wear gloves or a mask. It was weird. After that, she began to walk me out to leave the office. I had to remind her that I was there for an ultrasound too. She said she thought I had that already. NO! Talk about breakdown in communication. So, here comes the ultrasound lady. She wasn't the friendliest at first, but as time went on, she became Chatty Cathy. I laughed a little bit, got what I needed done, & went back to work. It wasn't the worse experience, but it definitely isn't Wake Radiology. May, the technician assigned to perform my procedure was a consummate professional. She was very informative throughout the process and pleasant to work with in TWO languages. I'm a big fan of May! Despite being more affordable than the other options in the Tri; CPI has a RIDICULOUS policy of giving patients a CD with their images. They might as well hand out rocks or pine cones because CD's are a nearly extinct storage medium. Neither Duke nor my private physician had ready access to CD drives to read the test results. This proved a huge hassle that caused unwelcome delays in two separate appointments. When I returned to the CPI office to request they e-mail me images- they REFUSED stating it was a HIPAA violation. Let's face it, no woman wants to get her boobs squished, but it's necessary and we all have to go through it, so might as well go where they couldn't be nicer, helpful and professional. Receptionist was flat-out fabulous. Warm, friendly, made me feel personally welcome. Identified herself, and guided me through the necessary paperwork quickly and efficiently. Honestly I don't believe I've ever had such a warm receptionist at a medical office! Wait time to go on to the next step was mere minutes. Was shown to a dressing cubicle and given easy-to-follow instructions. Wait time for the actual mammogram was again very short. The procedure itself was the usual, turn this way, lift your arm this way, squish squish, hold your breath and repeat with a different angle. My Professional Gal was just that, guiding me through it as quickly and painlessly as possible. Within a week I had my results. Could not have had a better experience.

The PA that took care of me was named Christopher and he was absolutely fantastic, so kind and funny, the x-ray technician was named Wendy and she was also every bit as wonderful ! Very good experience, everybody was very professional and kind, not a long wait and I felt like I received very good care . Highly recommend this location ! Plenty of parking, the waiting room is spotless, and the reception ladies that check you in were both very wonderful also.

I ended up upgrading to a full Body Scan and was very pleased with my results, all because of my FAMILY history. My results came back showing that I had osteoporosis of my left hip, Diverticulosis, and a hiantle hernia. I was very nervous, expecting to read the C word, or I had calcium built up in my heart because heart, cancer, and a lot of other health problems run in my FAMILY, so with my results. I was very pleased because it could've been a lot worse. Everyone has been very helpful. The results were explained to me so I can take them to my doctor. I purchased other full-body scans so I can give them to my kids as gifts, so that they can be checked out for early detection and preventive health check.
