Check your flowers before you leave if picking up! Placed an order 2 weeks ahead for a pickup. Flowers are picked up after standing around for a few minutes with workers showing no interest as to why I'm there. I look around to see my pre order is on the floor amongst other pick up or delivery orders. (mind you, the door is open and this place wasnt exactly that cool inside so that those flowers are temp controlled to stay fresh) I pick up the arrangement with my name on it, and motion to someone so I can show my receipt and leave. Arrangement is average at best, and not worth the $80 I paid for it.....and the roses had a slight wilt to them/brown edges on them. A couple days later... the roses are on their way full wilt! I see this as a rushed job and lack of care for the arrangements or the customers who are going to receive them. I've been here a few times before, but looks like they're either under new management, or new owner. Won't be back. read more

I needed a topper for a wedding cake I was making for a friend. She wanted sunflowers but I knew they would be too big for a 6" cake. I went in to East Rockaway Florist and they suggested using a similar flower that looked like sunflowers. I was nervous but it turned out beautifully. It couldn't have been more perfect. Can not even begin to explain the perfection of this places product. I've been going here for a few years now, and am never disappointed. The customer service Tony provides is incomparable to others. I had an anniversary that was ALMOST forgotten about, I Called in last minute hoping they had sunflowers. They only had a couple left, but he went out of his way and personally went to get them for me(mind you it was the end of the day). On top of that, the store was closed the following day, but he was nice enough to go in just so I can pick them up! Entire staff is so warm and welcoming as well.
