I've been going to this salon for years. I have had dipping powder and gel manicures once a month over this time and only twice have I had to return for a repair (chipping within a few days). I came in for a pedicure and am disappointed. At first it seemed like the manicurist was doing a great job, but the polish portion seemed rushed, and after only a day I already have one chip and they only painted half of one of my pinky toes. They also left a ton of dry skin on top of the nails, when you trim the nails that means you have to wick away the dry skin, otherwise you get dry spots. And they only do two coats for a lighter color. I paid $50, including tip. It's a pretty salon and it's clean, and it's in a convenient location, but I won't be returning. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I walked in and was greeted to pick a color.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A lady called me over to her chair and before even getting the tinfoil on my fingers she had left the stand 3x to take phone reservations making the removal process far much longer than needed . Finally she had a guy take over. I got gel x plus removal so total was 75 with a generous tip. I didn't LOVE the finished product upon walking out but needed to get to my daughter so i had no time to voice my concerns. My cuticles and hands were so ashy leaving there as he didn't have me wash my hands or put any type of cuticle oil or lotion at least. I figured i'd wear them for the 3 weeks they're supposed to last and go back to my normal place. I got them done friday, the following tuesday my index finger nail snapped while making my bed.. i called to have it fixed she agreed to fix it i made an appointment- that day another nail snapped again and i truly don't even know how because i wasn't doing anything much - def not enough for the nail to break. Yesterday ANOTHER nail chipped - didn't fully break but the polish chipped on the corner. i work as a lunch aid at a school and am not harsh with my hands. I've had gelx nails for a year taking breaks here and there and never ever had 3 fingers broken 7 days after paying an arm and a leg. Basicslly i never went back for them to fix it because at this point i need a whole new set for them to look normal again. Disappointed is an understatement and i do not recommend going to this establishment. read more

They have an easy booking system online. You can select the service you want and it will tell you the cost upon booking. The place itself is nice, quiet, street parking available. It's a big shop. I sat down for my pedicure the water was burning hot. She fixed it, while getting my pedicure I realized she filed my nails weird so when she painted it; it made my toe nail look like it was pointing weirdly at an angle if that makes sense. It didn't look straight. She kept telling me from her p.o.v it looked fine. I was starting to get upset cause I didn't care what it looked like to her, I had to live with it. In the end she fixed it which was appreciated. On to my manicure. She kept doing two fingers at a time on each hand which got to be annoying cause I had to keep switching so much. The really cool thing is though, they have these built in lamps (to cure the gel) attached to the table so you just stick your hands in them. The floors are slanted so depending where you sit the chair slides. Not a big deal but interesting part of getting your manicure done. Everyone in there seemed nice. read more

Just got a great mani & pedi today. It's super clean inside with comfy massage chairs. Have plenty of regular OPI and Essie polishes that's not dried up like most places. It's quiet and relaxing inside. The best is they don't constantly try to upcharge you like a place in Burlington that I shall not name with special nail polish and even using the exfoliating scrub for pedicures. We just moved up north a bit earlier this year and I've been looking for a good nail salon, and this one had great reviews, so I decided to check it out! It was so cute, very clean, and the ladies were all so kind and patient. I didn't catch the gal's name that did my mani/pedi (#mombrain), but she was chatting with me and my mother in law and very kind and gentle with me (I'm 8 months pregnant). I got a gel mani with design and classic pedi and both were such a treat. For the design, I was charged $5 per nail (and a bit extra for the star and moon additions), but it was SO worth it. She was so meticulous with my design and didn't rush it at all. I got their punch card and will definitely be going back! Highly recommend! People of color shouldn't go here. Don't give them your money because they don't want you here. This nail salon is prejudiced at the very least. I made an appointment for 4:30. I come in they tell me it's moved to 4:45, and proceed to take other clients who I assume they gave my original appointment time to, as well as take walk ins for pedicures before me. Was ignored until 5:00 walked out. The only difference between me and the other clients was skin color. Try walking into the salon as a person of color and being immediately stared at by non women of color in there. This is just the area I suppose, full of disgusting prejudice people who assume my money is not as good. read more

Booked an appointment online same-day with Michelle. When you walk in they have a gorgeous floral wall and huge lit-up sign that says "I Do Nail Bar" - perfect for pics :) Lots of colors to choose from, including TONS of gel colors. Michelle did a fabulous job - her attention to detail was immaculate. Started by removing my old gel and giving my a back massage. Then shaping/trimming, etc. She did 3 coats of gel polish and they look so great. Will be back! read more

Worst manicure I've ever had. First of all, they have a VERY limited selection of powder options. Like almost none! They caked on the polish for my pedicure - wasn't even, and then she completely misshaped my nails for my manicure. Literally every one of my nails has a different shape. It's awful. I chose a plain pale pink because they had so few options, but it looks like it's yellowing and it's bumpy. Just terrible all around and it took forever! read more

When she said she was done I looked down and was confused why my nails looked tie dye when they were supposed to be just pink and were see through in more than one place. I really really want to like this place. Everyone is incredibly friendly. My issue is that manicures are inconsistent. The first time I went I noticed when I got home that my nails weren't smooth. A couple of them had tiny ridges on them from the polish But decided to give it a second chance because It got great reviews and everybody was so nice I had a great female technician the second time. She did an amazing job and my nails lasted a lot longer than before so I went back two days ago for a fresh coat . Unfortunately I had the male technician again and now one nail is chipping already and two have ridges on them like the first time :( I think because too much nail polish was applied (‍) I didn't notice it until after I left the salon:( So perhaps lesson learned to check before you leave Unfortunately I won't be going back as when you book there is no way to tell who you are getting. But 2 bad mani is enough for me read more

Love this place. First off, it's very nice inside. Second, they seem to take the safety of everyone seriously and all nail technicians wear masks as do all the customers. They have shields in front of the manicure stations. Additionally, the pedicure stations are not the type with jets so they can keep them extra clean and they put liners in for each customer. What a gorgeous, little nail salon! This is definitely not your typical nail place, it did not have that strong chemical smell when you first walked in and it was beautifully decorated. I got a classic pedi and a gel mani. I was pleasantly surprised that the classic pedi came with a short hot stone massage. Maggie, who did my mani, did an awesome job, as well as the tech that did my pedi (didn't catch her name) but I don't see myself doing another pedi there only because they didn't have the typical reclining, massage chairs. The place is clean and gives you relaxing vibes. The staff are nice despite there seeming to be a slight language barrier. I had come for a manicure with a paraffin treatment. I was asked to pay first. Then the tech did the treatment, which is fine but didn't prep my nails very well for the manicure. I ended up with smudging on over half my nails because the polish just couldn't adhere. That was after they sat me in front of the dryer for twice as long as everyone else. I ended up going home, taking off the polish and doing it on my own. read more

Grand massage chairs have replaced the benches at the foot baths and dips for nails have been added to the salon services. I have never written a review, but Lisa at I Do deserves it!! She is incredible. I have never had someone take so much care and detail into doing my nails. This was hands down the best gel manicure I've ever had. The salon is spotless, everything is so clean. They don't even reuse nail files and offer you to take the one used on your nails home. I am officially breaking up with this place. Makes me sad as I was a regular client when the original owners owned it. Since it's under new management it's gone downhill. The place used to be warm and inviting and very well decorated. Now it's bare, very old equipment/chairs and looks/feels unkept. I have also noticed a drastic decline in service and my gel manicures don't even last 3 days before chipping. I am not sure what is being done differently but I never had this issue before. Also, I find it super annoying that I can never get a gel color that I want or like. The selection is not the same. I am disappointed but time to find a new place. read more
